1. Any of the big hotels. Surface Bar and Grill or Voyage Restaurant at Radisson Blu; Oriental Hotel lobby, Brazzerie restaurant at Four Points by Sheraton; the lounging area beside the swimming pool at Eko Hotel. Make sure you order something so you look busy. If you’re broke, the hotel receptions or garages are good alternatives. 2.Murtala Muhammed Airport (local or international) Everybody knows that it’s only the rich and well-to-do that take plane flights. Others take the bus. So scrap together all the money you have and take a trip when next you need to travel. If you’re broke, just pretend you’re there to pick a friend or family that just landed and hang around. 3.Banana Island Estate main gate or back gate. Why the gate? Because, if you don’t know anyone there or weren’t invited, security won’t let you in. So, to avoid embarrassing yourself, make sure you take a cab (the ‘Behind’ type) or you sef fit form small by taking an Uber. 4. Any Of The Numerous Big Churches In Lagos This is for the christian sisters. Just go to House on the Rock, COZA, Daystar, Harvesters, Redeemed Christian Church of God (not any one, it must be City of David). There are potential baes waiting. Don’t worry. God understands your situation and he won’t mind the hustle in church. 5.Chevron Estate, Lekki Don’t go without a plan. You will stand out like a sore thumb if you are seen loitering around. Preferably, you can go around in your jogging clothes. 6.The shopping mall Even though the poor now regularly patronise the malls now (including myself ), there are still places in them where you can meet the potential hubby. E.g Café Vergnano at The Palms. So go exploring for the cool spots in the mall and hang around there.7. 1004 Estate staircase You may ask why the staircase? That’s because you dare not go into any apartment without knowing someone there. If luck shines on you, you might even take home a rich white guy. 8. Accenture car park This one is easy. You don’t need a car, but you need to look like you own a car. So jingle the keys to the car you may or may not have, while you stroll through the parking lot in search of the car. 9.Tarkwa Bay, Atican or Elegushi beach Yeah, not just any beaches but these particular ones. The big boys regularly unwind here. 10. The High Class Restaurants e.g. Piccolo Restaurant You can spend a small fortune on yourself here, but trust me my dear, you will reap that in multiple folds. 11. Pan Atlantic University This university isn’t for the poor. Everybody here, both students and faculty are more than well-to-do and have access to the country’s influencers. So find ways to visit the place on a frequent basis. But your best bet is to take a course there. |

Well, today we will try to pinpoint some very sure places where you can only get a poor husband. The places are in no particular order tho. Read on:- 1. Career Fairs Who attends career fairs except he is jobless or wants an upgrade to an already poor job? If your aim of attending a job fair is to get a husband or hook a handsome guy, be rest assured that you’re taking a broke guy home 2. Job interviews/reality show auditions. This is a gamble. You are free to give him your number but don’t reply that SMS until he has successfully scaled through the reality show has ended and he is declared winner. For job interviews, only if he gets the job. Don’t worry you are not a gold digger. You’re just a woman going for what she wants. 3. Ikeja City Mall (ICM) I remember the good ol’ days of ICM when only the big boys flocked here. Now, you will probably see only that small wannabe who wants to show off the little thousands he has in his pockets. 4. The Markets The handsome and rich men you’ll see in the markets are the married gentlemen who believe in helping out their wives. Most young, rich and unmarried men find someone to do their hectic shopping. 5. MTN and Other Network Customer centres The people that frequent here are people that complain over the slightest things. E.g “I loaded N100 in my phone last night and N2 was gone by morning! I am not leaving this office until you return my money back.” Don’t let that sort of man put you inside house oh. 6. Computer Village, Ikeja You may end up losing some parts of your body or pocket if you try finding a husband here. The boys in Computer village are hustlers who only want but don’t give. 7. Ozone Cinemas, Yaba Chances are pretty slim. Just Unilag boys roaming around in carrot jeans and pam slippers. Don’t waste your time abeg. 8. Bridges on The Mainland If you start your search for a husband here, you may end up hooking up with a swindler. Sharp boys stay on the mainland and they aren’t ready to settle down just yet. 9. BRT buses Have you noticed everybody always looks sad in BRT buses? Maybe it’s because they are thinking of their 0.28 account balance. Once you get in, HEADSET ON! 10. JustRite Supermarket Justrite prides itself in offering unbeatable prices of good. Any man found shopping here is looking for the cheapest alternative. So therefore, that sort of man will give you N270 to cook soup. Notable Mentions Sabo, Yaba Oshodi Under-bridge If you have hooked up with a rich guy in any of these locations, please let us know in the comment box below, so I may remove it from the list. Happy husband-hunting.!!! . |
