@Bolded.
You yourself stated that they are yoruba in kogi.
They are yorubas.
They were with us in kwara before.
Together we struggled to get oya state.
Yea that's very true.
Have never disputed that, all am saying is that let's stop all this no Igbo in delta or rivers, they are just afraid of being marginalized like the others in the south east.
Ameachi says he is Igbo and Emeka Nzeogwu who started all this is also from delta yet same people who say deltas are not Igbo's blame the Igbos for the coup.
We young one are busy fighting ourselves while the old folks who experienced the war are dinning together without any case against themselves

That's not true, most of the Yoruba people of Kogi proudly claim to be Yoruba.
It's different from the Igbo type.
For the Igbo type, most just have some dialect of Igbo but not full language.

For the Yoruba Kogi, they speak full Yoruba, so why would they deny being Yoruba? If they don't claim Yoruba, which tribe would they proudly claim

You know nothing of the Yoruba's in Kogi. Their language is total different with little similarity to the Yoruba's of the south west.
The Kabba people speak okun while the Amoro people speak yagba.
Same thing with the Igbo in rivers and delta.
Am from Kaduna pls but a constant traveller.
Thank you

Islam for Muslims / Re: The Largest Islamic School In Afikpo, Ebonyi State (Photos) by sirwilly5: 1:21pm On Apr 30, 2021
Ctorch:
Pictures of the Best and Largest Islamic School in Afikpo Ebonyi State, Nigeria.

Best Islamic secondary school in the country is not located in the Muslim-dominated North but in the largely Christian South-East, specifically in Afikpo, Ebonyi State.

Now there are plans to turn the school, known as Islamic Centre, Afikpo, into an Islamic University. This was disclosed by Sheikh Daud Nwagui, the Headmaster of the primary section of the school, who told the Daily Trust newspaper: “We hope to turn the school into a university, that is a university of Islamic studies.

The hilly Afikpo town boasts the highest number of Igbo Muslims in the South-East, followed by the university town of Nsukka in neighbouring Enugu State. The Islamic Centre, Afikpo, was founded by Sheikh Ibrahim Okpani Nwagui, the father of the present headmaster, who brought Islam to Afikpo in 1958.

The Islamic Centre, Afikpo, has a primary and a secondary section. Sheikh Daud Nwagui told Daily Trust that there is a special focus on Arabic as a language, on Islamic studies, physics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature and Mathematics

Masha Allah.

In advance countries you don't praise Government for doing project, corruption has made us praise even people that built culvert. I think the Governor is trying only if he complete them before leaving.

Angry residents of Yantumaki, Katsina state, on Tuesday staged a protest over the increased spate of killings and kidnapping in the state.

The residents set fire on an APC billboard of President Buhari and the state governor Aminu Masari with the inscription ''The faces of fairness and champions of the masses.”

The angry residents also blocked the Kankara-Kastian road with tyres. Hundreds of motorists had to abandon the route to access Katsina town or Gusau in Zamfara State for ‎safety.

The protest comes a day after a health worker, Mansir Yusuf, and his daughter were kidnapped from the community. Last week, the district head of the area, Atiku Maidabino, was killed by unidentified gunmen at his palace. The residents decried the high level of insecurity, saying no day goes by without any reported attack on the community or its neighboring villages.

Last week, Governor Masari announced that his government has pulled out of the peace agreement they reached with bandits who have been killing and destroying properties owned by innocent residents of Katsina state.

Katsina is President Buhari's home state.
