Welcome to GASHAKA-GUMTI NATIONAL PARK

Gashaka-Gumti National Park, the largest park in Nigeria, covers an area of wilderness greater than 6,600 sq km. The park's name is derived from two of the region's oldest and most historic settlements: Gashaka village in Taraba State, and Gumti village in Adamawa State.

There are few other places in the world that contain such spectacular scenery and such diverse wildlife. The hidden corner of west Africa that is Gashaka-Gumti National Park is surely one of the continent's best kept secrets.  kiss kiss

It’s so funny to see my nieces (9 and 11) going gaga over the Telenovelas, they always want to keep me updated on Lorenzo’s wife, not just that. . . They get into argument on which of the pretty girls they are (don’t ask me) and to top it all, I have to pretend like I’m interested you know…mouthing the usual

“Whoa”
“No way!”
“She did not!” a
Sometimes, I throw in the occasional “Oooh I can’t wait for the next episode” .

Of course my sister. . . Their mom, knows I’m only pretending coz she did the exact same thing when I went through my Mexican Telenovela (it’s starting to look like a bad circle isn’t it?)

Anyway, it got me thinking about the Telenovelas of way back when and I decided to look them up. . . All I can say is 1) Thank God for Youtube and 2) How the heck did sit through 5 mins of thishuh

Let’s go down memory lanes shall we and please, feel free to share how your family used to drop everything at 8:30 every Sunday just to catch up on Rose’s wild adventures or what will make Raquel cry today . . .Gah! She was always crying over something! Jeebus! Can they come any weepier than her? Ahh, No!

All aboard the ol’ time machine, we are going back to 1996. . . Right?

First Stop the tomboy who found love -  Rosa Salvaje aka Wild Rose (Veronica Castro)

Of course you'll be the Caption, who else can fit be? As for Deepzone doing the laundry. . . I'd rather she was in a position where I can see her clearly. I don't want her to "mistakenly" dip my clothes in Poison Ivy because she "heard" it can cure someone of of Aboki blood. Nah, Nah. . . front and center for her, front and center!!!

I say we start a Nairaland band, RubyRenny and The Girls. Maybe we can talk Deepzone into joining us. . . keep her busy so she stops opening threads that so wa lenu.

KarmaMod:
Actually she acts very well.

and how is she any older than most of the people of Nollwyood?
I don't know how old she is but she can still pass as an ayounge compared to so old mamas they got squeezing their rolli polli old mama bodies into school uniforms acting like primary school children. undecided

Mr. Emeka, na wa for you oh! How can one successfully peddle hate for another tribe if they used their head or tell the truth? Seriously, do you really expect a tribalistic mind to work side by side with the ability to read, comprehend, think, use common sense. . . In short do anything people with brains can do?!!

Ah! You are expecting too much and I’m sorry to say this but you’re only setting yourself up for disappointment.

Stop insulting the poster! The Moses of our times! He comes here to share with us something he heard from a friend who is the son of a top AC. . . A TOP AC oh, not a bottom one, which means it's got to be real. . . so we can prepare ourselves for a revolution and what do he get for his efforts?

Bah! Typical Nigerian Behavior.

Do you know how many revolutions have started on them say them say? Well, not many. . . Okay, none at all but we gotta start somewhere, right? Tighten your shokoto rope, it's time to fight!!

@ Pastor PLC
Please tell us what we gotta do! We shall surely overcome!!!

PS
Please do not consider my use of  the word Shokoto, which sounds like Sokoto a northern state to mean I support the north.

Wow, interesting, so I can order a dodgy tokunbo car from abroad, have it delivered today, the 17th of October 2008, use it for the weekend, put it back on Nairaland for sale on Monday 20th 2008 as a Nigerian used car and thereby have no need to list the VIN  cool Nice one grin[/quote]Tee hee hee. . . please stop using common sense to disturb these fine gentlemen now. Haba, it's unfair oooh!
PoliticsRe: Northerners Strategy To Rule Nigeria Beyond 2015 Exposed by Sisikill: 5:03am On Oct 17, 2008
The real story behind the first real strategic Northern takeover story.

This comes from a reliable source. The grand daughter of Shagari's brother's maid who worked for Abubakar's sister in law in Kotangora before transferring to Lokoja to work for Tafawa Balewa's grandson's daughter who is Married to Obj's son. . . Not the abused one oh, the other one who lived in London with Buhari's Aunt's son in law. . . Yeah, that one who looks like Babaginda's third son. . . but isn't, at least we hope not since he dated Aisha, Babaginda's daughter who is now married to Aliyu Shinkafi. . . The governor of Zamfara state, this is of course after she divorce Garba Bashir. . . You know, Abacha's nephew. Yeah after Abacha died. . . they had no use for him, so he had to go. Rumor has it that she's really in love with Ojukuwu's son or was it Abiola's son. . . Ah, it doesn't matter because her heart belongs to Atiku's brother. Ehn, yeah. So there you have it.

Please you didn't hear it from me. lipsrsealed

Oh yeah, a Top AC/DC/FAN is also involved.
