Nairaland / General / Re: My Near-death Experience While Watching Nigeria Vs South Africa Match by SIXFEETUNDER: 5:41pm On Feb 09
Mine near death experience was multiple times , still a sad thing that I'm still alive

I had a weird experience, had inner bleedings and it couldn't be found at X rays so when it continued to bleed and bleed , I finally fainted and dropped down to the floor because I run out of blood . The heart had no blood left to and my veins and arteries almost emptied of blood , technically I was dead.

After waking up in a hospital bed , my sister told me , I had experienced something called astral projection

DystopianMuse:
Why won't they japa. When they face hardship under the repressive, authoritarian and totalitatarian chinese communist party(ccp). Which operate a form of orwellian dystopian society. With massive censorship and cracking down on dissent with the ever paranoid xi jin ping at the helm of affairs consolidating power in unprecedented way since mao ze dong. Forget about the propaganda, chinese are going through hell. Failed zero covid policies, declining demograhics. Crumbling real estate, retrogressing export, failing economy, massive censorship and survelance, drying fdi, cracking down on foriegn and tech businesses. I can go on and on. Please don't quote me if you dont have valuable facts to counter and i dont want to hear the usuall rhetorics of the above points been western propaganda. They are issues affecting everday average joe chinese

Anyone noticed..? People hardly post food pictures here!

Previously.. I mean back back, you will get like 5 pages a day of comments and food pictures but recently, it takes like a week to get a full page. And when it successfully makes a full page in say 3 days, it's mostly filled with back and forth between Annie and Omobaba (Sorry to you both if I misspelt your names).

But ehmmm by the way, Annie hope you are good... haven't seen your posts in a while.

I swear the hardship is Nigeria is real. May our good God help our people!

Computers / Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by SIXFEETUNDER: 12:47pm On Feb 05
EniHolar:
I just installed Windows 11 on my system and it does not have the hibernate option. Only sleep, lock switch user and shut down. It's not everytime that I'll like opening all apps afresh, so I prefer to hibernate most times.

I've checked the settings. I've tried editing 'Change what the power button and close lid do'. I've even pressed the 'change settings that are currently unavailable' option. Yet, I can't find hibernate. What else can I do?

Simply downgrade to windows 10 or 7
