Abati ended up being the $!mp, the left over man after all the juice have dried up. I shake my head
This statement is more ignorant than true. It’s a subjective, dismissive remark using slang and metaphor to ridicule Abati’s romantic choice. You are telling divorcees how to pick leftovers and extract juice. You never see anything for this life. Inexperience clings to rules, experience knows value cannot be timed.

Life will humble you. Just wait your turn.

Ask AI for this one.

This is an image of a brindle-colored puppy lying on its back. The puppy has a brindle coat pattern (black and brown stripes) with some white markings on its chest and paws.

It appears to be a mixed-breed dog, possibly with boxer, pit bull, or ridgeback characteristics, based on similar found dog posts.

Google the definition of pandering and then you will understand what this candidate is trying to do.

Trump will interfere with the elections of many countries and it will work well in some places, it will backfire in other places. The classic case is Canada and how, because of Trump's comments, the leading candidate there lost the election. So be careful how you use Trump as a background wallsaver, e fit give you blue screen of death. This is the advice I have for APC re Remi Tinubu joining praise and worship.

Have you heard of the cabal? It's like Yar'Adua saga did not teach Nigerians anything. Those who benefit from the weakness are the string defenders of the status quo, it's not really about the strength of the leader in power. Heck, Yar Adua was on hospital bed and people were telling us the President can rule from anywhere in the world, signing your country away. Biya is there not out of his physical strength but the power is maintained by those who benefit from it. It's those hyenas you should watch out for.

Their is no reason whatsoever that Irev should be domicile. Transmission of election votes in the Irev is non negotiable that is where we can have free, fair and transparent elections. The Irev system shows it is working and the only remedy to shorthand elections malpractices and irregularities as well the Pathfinder to credible and less elections litigation. If Nigeria wants to fix this country INEC must be fixed first and for INEC to be fixed Irev must be fixed. No retreat! No surrender!! The power must be transferred to people through the ballot!
I don't see any reason why we can't have live transmission of the results and the numbers on NTA. Give it to one young man to do and they will link all results along with the signed copy of the polling unit result to the database that everyone can see. Any voter can fact check their polling unit using a link and this makes the process transparent. After all, APC has monitoring centres, so why are we making a big deal of 774 local government dataset? What are they monitoring?

There is no big deal in it, it's the magomago they want to do that is making it bigger than it is that they now call professors and all manner of people just to do counting and verify it. Aren't we ashamed as a country?

Even here on Nairaland, I see something like that. Ordinary voting poll, the results changed days later. These are the people who first abuse others that there are no polls online but they still don't like a fair process. We don't like integrity, we are afraid of truth. Truth does not fear. Lies do.

SixSeven:
Can you see how the poll numbers have changed after the poll has ended? undecided

It was 57% against 37%, now it had reduced to 56% against 37%. Obi had 1 more vote from the last time it ended and Tinubu had 3 more votes after the Nairaland collation centre and server glitch adjusted the result grin I have no problem with approximates, I have a problem with the tampering of the total number of votes cast for each candidate.

Our problem is not e-voting or any other thing like that, our problem is the refusal to follow a process through and the desperate need to always manipulate things rather than having an objective process with its integrity intact.

I didn't expect anything to change but I deliberately monitored this thread and archived it to see how changes are made because the mods may hide some comments and in the future, the poll result can change after 4 days, who knows? I should not be doing this but I want to see the end result of the monitoring experiment as a social study. Out of nowhere we saw this poll and it closed so fast:

President Bola Tinubu is the Best President of Nigeria Since 1999- Nairaland Poll

It's a catch 22 because you need to live in a place that is conducive but you want to be paid for it. Now, it is the duty of the owner of the house to handle all repairs but when the owner does not do that, my brother, how many years do we have to live on earth to be living in inconvenience? The landlord wants your money but does not want responsibility to take care of his house. The tenant wants to help you but the ingrate that you are say NO, let me increase your suffering. If only we put ourselves in the shoes of others, we will know where it hurts the most but until we do that, we like to pretend like we are saints.

The worst thing for a landlord is to have a tenant who will cause more damage to the property and at the end, even their house rent money, half of it will go into repair. Isn't that mumuness? Life is just unnecessarily wicked because man has chosen to be wicked to themselves then they go to mosque on Fridays, Church on Sunday and mountain on Monday to ask for forgiveness when they have many things to do that they can fix. They blame the devil 🤡

We won't need contracts in the world if everyone played their part, honored commitments and acted responsibly but what do I know sef?

The only man that won't regret monogamy is the man that doesn't live long.
An enlightened Yoruba man will actually go the way of his father and forefathers and their mothers, which is polygamy and those people were not unfortunate.

No one invades what belongs to them. True ownership needs no force.

Domination begins where belonging ends. Now I understand Seyi's words well even though I don't support all of them for destroying their party in the last election.

As I said, he has already described himself in his post.

(That's one of the main reasons why I created the thread).
Oh please! Don't make us look like fools. The last paragraph is itself an insult. Do you know what it means when you have to do things to please Trump and you are telling us that is direction? Despite the fact that Canada stands to lose a great deal, Mark Carney made that speech that was bold enough to let Trump know that we're taking a new direction. Our President has not made any direct speech. This man is a hypocrite. He keeps releasing press statements and thank God you keep archives, check all he said when he was in opposition on issues like this. Please don't sell this to us. Some of us are not that stooppeedd. This is a poor PR job and no one is buying it. Moreover, you should understand that the critical issue of trust is gone, not by an external party but by the same government whose words lack the value of the mint it produces.

A man who appointed Teamship to speak for him during campaign gives no two legs of cow foot on talking to us. When last has the president had a chat on issues? Instead they are continuing from where Buhari stopped by different people mixing quadratic equations with chemical formulas on the tactics of the president. The president's silence is not strategy, it's COWARDICE. Cowardice masked as bravery and being smart. You can fool some people some of the time, you can't fool the people all of the time.

They may learn from this. All they do is argue like football viewing centre fans while the football players are taking their money home and they are drinking pure water. It's a sign of miseducation. If there's anything you need to subtract from Gen Z, it's the pompous nature of ignoring history and thinking we made it, hide your face. They say the youth can run fast but the elder knows the way. Every generation went through the same thing because when you are young, you are full of energy and ideas, you think the people from the past were not smart enough. SixSeven:
It's what the numbers do for you that matters. Kunle made a statement that is deep there and those in showbiz or football know this. You can take in 10bn, that does not mean it all belongs to you. Sales is not equal to profit share. I was just watching TLC too talking about how they made just hundreds from the millions that was made from their art. Oliseh was also explaining the other day how football contracts work and not all the thousand pounds per week goes to the players. All we hear is contracts and deals and money but you are not there to know what the Ts&Cs are. Art and business sense must go together. Everyone also has a niche market.

I wrote this on the other thread. Bovi had actually addressed this issue last year

I totally agree with him. In fact, this is what made Bovi do in-person shows. He too said that he already has the craft, he has the product, those wey wan come and know the deal will come, he won't succumb to social media ridicule of this generation turning him to something else. That's why he went to Benin, Lagos and did his shows and said he won't do those crazy promotions online just to sell his tickets. If you notice, his show is so different, it doesn't have those insults, DJ mixes and noise the other comedians use to steal time and your money. Will people still go to those shows? Yes but the sky is big for everyone and that's what Kunle wrote in that proverb. Bovi further said he wanted to appreciate his original fans and removed those oppressive tables we use to extort ourselves in these comedy shows.

Afolayan is from the TK School of Works so I am not surprised with his mature comments. After some years, the work that was done for the art will speak louder than the work that was done for the fart money. Art is long, life is short.
