Do you know the part that annoyed me? It's not this short video of the plane. You need to see the full video where the girl was posting her enjoyment online. Apparently, Oshiomole featured in his own budget movie as a waka pass. Men, take note.

I even had to insult the girl on Oshiomole's behalf. She no get respect but will I blame herhuh No. The men sponsoring her have no shame. You need to see the full video, it will annoy you more than this one you're seeing. It reminds me of that girl that put our Uncle's bumbum online. Play with the pigs, get ready to be dirtied by them

Let me explain to you.

Nigeria is better than where APC left it 3 years ago ie 2023. Ask yourself was 2023 better than where it was 3 years ago ie 2020 and 3 years before that ie 2017 and 3 years before that ie 2014?

When you know how they want to do magomago with your brain, ask them NA STATISTICS WE GO CHOPhuh

As elections are coming, be prepared for more statistics. You all mus chop statistics whether you like àgbàdo, garri or Cassava. Propaganda people are at work to manipulate numbers they initially did not care about. The same people who brought 3 years ago to you and told you it was the best for your life are now saying 3 years ago was worse. Aren't they cowards? A coward cannot tell the truth because they are afraid of what they will lose if they say so. A government that said if within 3 years, you don't have 24/7 electricity, take them out is the one the Power Minister is blaming you all for wasting light 🤭🤡🤡🤡😂

Whatever happens between you and your spouse, keep the children out of it. Learn to maintain the dignity of their father or mother even if you think t was the worst mistake you ever made. Learn to allow the children find out themselves if he was a deadbeat dad or she was a bad mom. Children will become adults and the adult brain will make them know the truth. No amount of your manipulation can, even when you die. The child was the result of the love (making) you had with your partner, not hate. Don't mix it up. Trust me on this. For young women out there, if there's nothing you are learning, this is the only lesson you should learn from life, BE SURE OF WHO YOU WANT TO OPEN YOUR LEGS TO AND WHOSE SEED YOU WANT TO GERMINATE. Men don't have the power, women do. But use your head, not your heart.

@daniwise edlion57 Dalohad AK481 Waterlilly

Can you see how the poll numbers have changed after the poll has ended? undecided

It was 57% against 37%, now it had reduced to 56% against 37%. Obi had 1 more vote from the last time it ended and Tinubu had 3 more votes after the Nairaland collation centre and server glitch adjusted the result grin I have no problem with approximates, I have a problem with the tampering of the total number of votes cast for each candidate.

Our problem is not e-voting or any other thing like that, our problem is the refusal to follow a process through and the desperate need to always manipulate things rather than having an objective process with its integrity intact.

I didn't expect anything to change but I deliberately monitored this thread and archived it to see how changes are made because the mods may hide some comments and in the future, the poll result can change after 4 days, who knows? I should not be doing this but I want to see the end result of the monitoring experiment as a social study. Out of nowhere we saw this poll and it closed so fast:

President Bola Tinubu is the Best President of Nigeria Since 1999- Nairaland Poll

I don't care about the 21-year-old either but what attracted me was the hype and outrage surrounding the physical attack on him on Lagos Island. Then, I saw the highly embarrassing video of that semi-literate boy called Peller [who I hear is just a few months younger than "IShow"] when he was physically prevented from meeting IShow. The B.S. talk online that IShow only wanted to "meet regular" people on the street level is a big LIE! He certainly met with a lot of "influencers" in many of the countries he visited and most definitely he met influencers in Ghana where the organizers originally came from. Even the Ghanaian Tourism Board said they didn't know he was gonna visit as of the time he was presented with a Ghananian passport.

The Ghananian organisers of the Nigerian visit definitely didn't provide a proper ring of protection for the young man and they definitely tried to denigrate Nigeria by allowing him to go to areas of Lagos he shouldn't have been to.
If the young man went to Alaba market or Computer Village where they could probably steal his phone, that would be original content. He didn't need to visit places Nigerians think are places. I wrote on the other thread that Nigerians think when they go to shops abroad, they have traveled without realizing travel is about experience. If he took the train, that is experience but I give it to him using a danfo because that is authenticity. It's living like Lagosians. Many people have shown this to our governments but they don't get it. The yellow buses and taxis represent something important in the state but our officials always think that we must look like Dubai (as Ambode once said) or one foreign place instead of being ourselves. I once saw the old Oshodi artwork in a museum abroad.

You may be right about the Ghana sabotage but they still made me laugh when I saw the jollof they made grin

Ask Adeleke who even parotted supporting the President for 2027, has it stopped the President from coming at him?

The moment the President dropped his ministerial nomination, that emboldened the Oyo APC and it became obvious what the situation was going to be. These are politicians, one plus one could be 11.
Did PDP take APC/ACN's nominees when they were in power? Or how did Obanikoro become a Minister?

I'm in total support of the authorities in Lagos being informed. I never knew that 21-year-old African-American until his visit to Morocco and then days later after his supposed visit to Lagos and Abuja. He celebrated his 21st birthday in Lagos Nigeria and his followership hit the milestone of 50,000,000 in Nigeria.

However, the Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya finally confessed that it was Ghananians that organized the whole journey to Africa for the young man and I affirm that it was highly disrespectful to Lagos and Nigeria that the authorities were NOT informed by the Ghanaian organizers so as to provide tighter security and give him a proper your guide of places to visit in order to avoid any potential attacks.

Nearly every city on Earth has major black spots so you have to be aware to avoid those places. In the United States, there are dangerous areas on the South Side of Atlanta, Chicago, in NYC, Detroit, etc, so, you have to be careful or you get mugged or shot at by gangsters. I found it despicable that some people are highly uninformed about the goings on in several countries of the world so these dweebs like putting Nigeria down and begin to engage in baseless grovellings.
I watched the Wode Maya interview where he talked about it. Now, it's still disingenuous to expect that the authorities will be told about it. Why? Who is ishowspeed? He's a bloody blogger. Yes, he streams online and is the most popular and earns the most, I don't put it to him to promote anything. For instance, I hear them talking about Peller, Peller wey no go school go understand the tourism strategy. See, it's not about planning for a special welcome and curating your story. Like Wode said, these streamers thrive on action, not organisation and for his demography, they love ACTION. What the state should do and the government too is put things in place for whoever comes in. He is a young man. Not every country welcomed him, Ethiopia did but in a different way and they did not involve any celebrities but again, the young man said he wanted authentic experience, not curated ones. In the other thread where I commented, I highlighted that other people have come into Lagos or Nigeria, there's no big deal about this young man. The only difference is the hype and buzz.

SixSeven:

It's not about noise. The maturity of the traveler also matters.
The streamer has some statistics to keep up otherwise his stream count will go down. He didn't meet with Peller because as the analyst said, they belong to different streaming platforms so he wouldn't promote it. See we don't need to script everything, Nigeria alone is enough content but for the officials to sit down there and wait for people to come to the and then inform them, they are not ready yet. They say they were not informed but Peller already knew the young man was coming? I laugh in Isalẹ Eko. If every visitor has to inform you that we are coming to your country, then you have a lot of work to do more than North Korea. Tourism is not by force and through force. You put things in place and it sells itself.

You actually have a good understanding of economics and economic evaluation.
Many people don't understand these concepts.
Because it's what the ordinary people feel that matters more than statistics. I'm not saying that stats is bad, I'm just saying that people only feel numbers when those numbers are affecting their lives directly. Any other thing is just economic gymnastics. The ordinary man on the street does not need Macroeconomics 101 to know if his life has improved in a year or not.

You're very current. Yes, it was as from 2007, when govs insisted one of them would be Gejs successor as vice president and so on, and they always had their way. Tinubu and co are currently encouraging it because it suits them. But I bet you, it'd take a huge miracle for the status quo to revert to the ideal. Govs now control so much money, and have a lot of latitude.
It's because of governors I don't necessarily blame the President, whoever it may be. Governors did not allow LG's work so it means if you give Nigerians a chance, they will be worse than what they criticised. I remember vividly that even APC then chastised PDP for the way Governor Amaechi was treated by FG. All of them are the same. Today, they are all rushing to put their kids in LG Chair because allocations are going to LG directly. I also don't believe democracy is the problem because whether it's military, democracy or any type of government, it's the sincerity of the office holder that matters. Unfortunately these people are so myopic, when they get the chance they take our money abroad and only want to help their family and friends 🤡 instead of everyone benefitting

Do you know what Tinubu is doing with his increasing revenue from higher tax burden on Nigerians, as well as his $84 billion subsidy savings, if he is borrowing more than PDP presidents did?

Indeed, that's how Governor Tinubu avoided confrontation with President Obasanjo abi? Cowardice asks, ‘Is it safe?’ Courage asks, ‘Is it right?’

A coward believes he will always live if he keeps away from danger that's why they fear every breeze.

In the second republic, the state party chairs were the state party leaders, while the national party chairman was the national leader of the party. Shagari wasn't the final authority of the npn, it was the national party chairman, and in many instances, the president would defer to him, while every other member fell in line. It was under Obj that the whole party hierarchy structure fell apart, and govs solely controlled everything. The less said about the president, the better.
I understand. Thanks for mentioning this. You would think that due to the suffer wey Tinubu and their type chop under OBJ, they would make some changes but no, they prefer it this way. Governors became powerful after 2007 especially in 2010 when Yar Adua saga was on and the NGF. It's still not good for our democracy.
