You can not always get it right 100%. I expect to see the like of Fayemi in the next batch
Yes. He too had his faults. He was the author of do or die in our politics and we had assassinations around that time.

There is no one who won't have criticism but this one is too obvious. Obvious that it is padi padi government but this is Nigeria. If I blame PDP for anything, I don't blame them for knowing how to manage the diversity of Nigeria. APC as a party lacks that.

The media should step up to its job. They are the 4th estate. You need to make these guys uncomfortable so they can do their job or else, we'll get to that very bad position for khaki boys to come inside. Look at the Senate, in the past, we used to look up to them to challenge FG/states and stand up for masses. Look at what we have today. The judiciary is already going too.

Hold these guys ACCOUNTABLE. They are getting bold because they are not challenged to do their freaking job. Na Governor wey de hot seat de get time for another person seat? Won't he save himself first?

FFK should be posted to the State of Israel. Since Shettima castigated Israel at the UN for the genocide in Gaza, that's when the Christian genocide response from Trump came out. FFK is strong about his position and he has good knowledge of Israel. Attack is the best form of defence, then let Reno score own goal in the US. 🤡

Tinubu is more interested in politics, I don't pity him. He will see with his own eyes.

1. Barrister Ogbonnaya Kalu (Abia)
2. Reno Omokri (Delta) - post him to US since we all want to be mad. Unfortunately, he has written so many things that are not diplomatic that you are only bringing more disgrace to Nigeria because Internet is free. All it takes is for the host country to Google him and see what mess we are making of ourselves.

3. Prof. Mahmood Yakubu (Bauchi)
Go to court. INEC former chair. This man doesn't care about the look of things. How can someone who announced you as winner be then appointed by you 2 years after?

4. Erelu Bisi Angela Adebayo (Ekiti)
Wife of political associate, Niyi.

5. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu)
6. Tasiu Musa Maigari (Katsina)
7. Yakubu N. Gambo (Plateau)
8. Prof. Nora Ladi Daduut (Plateau)
9. Otunba Femi Pedro (Lagos) - his deputy as State Governor in Lagos.

10. Chief Femi Fani-Kayode (Osun)
11. Barr. Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu (Anambra)

12. Fatima Florence Ajimobi (Oyo) - wife of former Governor of Oyo, Ajimobi

13. Lola Akande (Lagos) - Oluremi Tinubu's sister, Dr. Lola Akande, who is currently the Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and ...

14. Grace Bent (Adamawa)
15. Dr. Victor Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia)
16. Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (Ondo)
Political contestant for the office of Governor

17. Ambassador Paul Oga Adikwu (Benue)

What this list shows us is that only the political elites deserve Nigeria. It does not inspire, it does not bring hope. It's same of the same. Ńo Hope Renewed.

Dora Akunyili once told us how she thought her appointment was 419 when she received the call from Obasanjo. She still did not believe Obasanjo was the one who called her. The man relied on recommendations and he didn't need to know you directly to do the job. If he wanted the best, he will get them from anywhere. I'm not surprised, this man only believes in those who he knows and pledge loyalty to him, not the state. I am not surprised anyway. He said he'll continue from where Buhari stopped. It means that APC as a party believes in tribe and ethnicitsm. Buhari did it, Tinubu is doing it too. It's our turn, emilokan. You can't unite a nation this way.

The people at paystack just don't know how to run a payment gateway, or rather, it's Stripe their parent company, which is based overseas that curates them. This is not allowing them to succeed like homegrown Flutterwave. It boils down to the message I've had for Africans for ages to let us build our own stuff.
This is more about policy because every company wants to grow and become 'international' and it is not their fault not to see beyond their noses. If the leaders put in good policies in place and protect their own, nothing stops these companies from not being bought and we celebrate it like it's a good thing. We don't take pride in owning it and letting it remain in Africa. We always want to sell and when they dangle dollars, people forget anything like this.

I just want you to know that militia is possible in any place. I find it funny that people think it's one religion or tribe. People in their majority are able to do evil. If you were around at this time, Tinubu actually condemned Obasanjo for declaring a state of emergency and saying it was undemocratic. If you want link for that too I can give you. Look at the Tinubu today, he declared emergency in Rivers state for political reasons but Obasanjo sacked Dariye for being weak and not able to handle the conflict and pushing a 'Christian genocide' as Governor.

They will continue to divide you guys and make you forget your humanity.

In the central region that lies between the mainly Muslim north and largely Christian south, armed Muslims on February 24, 2004 killed more than 75 Christians in the town of Yelwa, at least 48 of them inside a church compound. Then on May 2 and 3, hundreds of well-armed Christians surrounded the town from different directions and killed around 700 Muslims. They also abducted scores of women, some of whom were raped. Both attacks were well-organized, and in both instances, the victims were targeted on the basis of their religion.

press9jatv:
Don't ever underestimate this man!!!

This man came from nowhere to upstage the likes of Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Ganiyu Olawale Dawodu in Lagos and won the SENATE seat of Lagos West at first attempt in 1991

But for Babangida he already installed Alh Shehu Musa Yar'Adua and afterwards Bashorun MKO Abiola as President in 1992 and 1993.

The same man stood up to Babangida and Abacha in the heat of the June 12 crisis and survived it.

In 1999 he breezed into the country to upstage Engr. Funso Williams who was then set to be Governor of Lagos State.

He retired Chief Ayo Adebanjo and bombed his Ohanifere ambitions in Lagos.

He stood shoulder to shoulder with Obasanjo as President for 8 years and emerged as the only survivor.

Since that time he has been the News and has been surviving.

He contained the Ibo Zionist advancement in Lagos and have successfully managed Lagos State Political Stability consistently for about 26 years.

He survived the most evil plot of the 2020 EndSars attack which were targeted at him.

He survived the worst combinations of treachery from Presidential Cabal, Ibo Zionists, all the evil Principalities and Powers of Nigeria, including Buhari himself and the worst betrayals from his own innermost circles and from all these he emerged the President and Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria.

He has survived Fuel and Dollar Subsidy removal, the effects of Economic reforms, NLC and all the Megawatts of hate coming out from Ibo land.

All his life has been about obstacles and survival from childhood to this day.

He knows the streets!!!

He has rare combination of resources: Street Sense, Native Intelligence, Spiritual Anointing, Academic Brilliance, Professional Experience, Political Network, Wisdom etc.

And he can be very calm. That is one of his greatest qualities. He is always calm, he listens and he is always attentive.

Notwithstanding, he has the capacity for CRAZE + MADNESS, original dangbanasoki.

I have no doubt in my mind that he will overcome the current conspiracies of "insecurity" around the country which are targeted at him.

It's just another obstacle.

There is something very divine about him and he has always triumph in all he takes on.

You underestimate him at your own peril.

Politics › Re: Photos: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Looking Healthy by SixSeven: 9:30pm On Nov 28, 2025
The former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo did declare states of emergency in two different states during his presidency:

Plateau State (2004): Obasanjo declared a six-month state of emergency in Plateau State on May 18, 2004, following weeks of violent conflict between Christian and Muslim communities. The elected government and legislature were suspended, and Governor Joshua Dariye was suspended and later probed for money laundering in Britain.

Ekiti State (2006): A state of emergency was also declared in Ekiti State in October 2006, leading to the suspension of the governor, his deputy, and the state legislature.

Jonah Jang served as the Governor of Plateau State from 2007 to 2015, which was after Obasanjo's presidency ended in 2007. While Jang has faced various political and legal challenges during and after his time as governor, he was not the governor of Plateau State during the 2004 state of emergency declared by Obasanjo.

Jonah Jang's Later Involvement: Jonah Jang later served as the Governor of Plateau State from 2007 to 2015. Years after the 2004 incident, in 2018, Jang claimed that attempts to link him to criminal activities and later killings in his senatorial zone were a deliberate political plan to stop him from participating in the 2019 elections, though this was unrelated to the original 2004 Obasanjo emergency declaration.

Peter Obi would have. He would go all out against these terrorists because he has no cockroach in his closet.

The way Tinubu is treating it shows that he knows highly connected people who finance their activities but he cannot deal with them because they know his dirty secrets too.

APC members did a lot of dirty things to bring GEJ down in 2015, including bringing large numbers of marauders into Nigeria. This fact has already been established.
What do I gain in I told you so? But I'm happy somehow that karma is real. Who would have thought about all these things happening just within 10 yearshuh

As for Obi, I don't believe any politician but there's one thing I saw about him. He would have changed the mindset of Nigerians. That we no de give shishi alone would have fought corruption EVERYWHERE. There were some values the man brought to the table that don't need policy statements. They will even do better than the body language they lied to us about Buhari in 2015. He had enough to influence the mindset of Nigerians and stop this our anyhow behaviour but with a man that says what this one says, there is no surprise to have the likes of Wike, Okpebolo and so many more because leadership is influence. If e didn't de, e didn't de. Someone changed an anthem that brought Nigerians together but he is more concerned with Nigerians singing to his mandate. No be juju be dat? They want to do a mass psyop on us. It's not a mistake. The other time I said, you may think it's a small thing but the super eagles can't be motivated enough to play games when the national anthem is not familiar. You have spoilt the fabric of unity. You want to rewrite history and you want yes men. What they did at the judges conference was a test. They have cornered judiciary. They want to let you know what they mean when they say GO TO COURT.

So how come despite all these blessings we'er way behind them? What do you think is the reason?

So how come their countries were doing better before immigrants started flooding in?? And how come the "blessed" countries don't have jobs? grin
We are partly to blame but I can assure you too, they are partly to blame. I am not one who always blames the colonizers or outsiders but their invisible hands are still tampering with our progress so for their own benefit, it is better we remain disorganized and in conflict so that they can get the resources cheap. That is why any African leader who stands for the people is usually taken out and corrupt ones are fancied. It's all business to them. They know you will be frustrated, so they create a scheme to take the best human talent to come work for them in their country and sermonize us.

The truth is they won't leave us alone because we will become a threat but we too suppose don get sense organize ourselves. This is what the Asian countries like Malaysia, China, Singapore did. We have to take ownership but are we willing to pay the price?

To the question you asked, it is very convenient for their own leaders to blame immigration for their own inefficiencies just the way our own leaders here want you to blame another tribe or someone else for their own laziness. The leaders there look at the numbers, they have old aging population, their youth won't do farm work, production and other blue collar, okay, let's bring in migrants who will work for peanuts but they are happy for it to build our economy. When the citizens realize that the immigrants are doing well with their peanuts and not complaining because they come from countries where the government is Fkkkd and they don't depend on handouts, they start to ask questions. Then the politicians say look, it's the immigrants that took your jobs. The politician doesn't say that it's his own negligence that got them where they were. Mind your business was painful back then but as an adult, I realized that if you want to live longer, mind only your business!

Remember whose child you are. You will get to a stage in life where you will know how important that is. For those who want to leave a legacy, they know certain things are not material. Man will get to a stage where he will find out who he is. This is why I feel sorry for those who don't have a relationship with their parents. Trump is only playing to his base. Let me tell you, these guys know what they are doing. All these labels of first world and second world is to make themselves feel good. For instance, China called itself a developing country and it used to be a 3rd world. US protested at the UN that China cannot be saying it's still a developing country and enjoying the benefit of that status while its economy is doing well.

China did not bother about the status. What they did was strategic, ignore the noise and keep working. The way Nigerians used to look down on Chinese product aka Chinko is the state US is right now. US has been importing stuff from China at a cheaper rate, regardless of the so called human rights abuses. Even your dear Apple produces in China, it makes economic sense. Pay lower fees in China and don't bother about Unions, rights and so many regulations in the first world. Trump came to threaten them but you and I know it will be very expensive to produce in the so-called first world than elsewhere. They are so entitled. So all these Trump is saying is just playing to the gallery. The capitalists know what they are doing.

They want to always look down on you that have the gold content and make their own crap look like platinum. It's one of the reasons they banned Huawei and any Chinese EV. Tesla will die if they bring Chinese EVs which are cheaper than their overpriced toys. They are doing it to Temu right now but don't forget that Amazon (US company) has been advertising Chinese goods on its website for years but all of a sudden, because the likes of Temu and Shein have opened doors, they are talking down on them. You can see Western hypocrisy. grin They are very good at sermons. Their people have now found out that it's cheaper or the cost of living can afford them chinko products than the overpriced alternatives they have. Now they are singing buy American first, buy Canadian, buy this and that. Go and watch what is happening, na their people de go China, Bangladesh, Vietnam go import. In the fashion industry it's the same. The so-called third world is being exploited by these people and they are summoning us to sermons.

It's what is happening in the music industry, it is cheaper to take an Àṣàkẹ́ to US than build a Houston-based one. They know what they are doing.

These guys will not do the work. Their economies were built on the blood and work of the so-called third world countries. A land that was built on slavery can't keep itself running with elites, they always need them. Covid showed us the hypocrisy recently.

The western world's immigration policies are not by mistake. In UK, when the Brits won't ride trucks to deliver foods, others from EU countries took up the jobs. Let's keep pretending. grin They didn't want to pay the Brits well, those ones complained of poor working conditions but what they complained about did not concern those who were hungry for jobs. So the question to ask is, are the AMERICAN CAPITALISTS ready to pay the true cost of labor to Americans and 'first world citizens'?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI_JmPovbNY

To the so-called third world countries, fix your countries and stop letting the enemy from outside divide you and paint you black. You have been blessed by the Creator with natural resources, good weather, authentic food. They are very jealous of you. Their own people who are well traveled know this, that's why they come here. Propaganda can't alter truth no matter the amount of lies.

They silenced the media and look at where we are today.🤡 If you listened to newspaper headlines on radio and watch on TV, you would have seen these changes. A classic example is their Radio Continental, Adaba FM, TV Continental and how it metamorphosed from political analysis when they were not in power to political suitability when they got power and then they used entertainment to dumb down the citizens. That's the same script of every dictatorship. Divert the people's attention and minds from reality but flog whoever calls out the truth so that others don't wake up.

Every dictatorship has one obsession👇

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4TqvpS-OyA
According to the monologue, dictatorships employ various strategies to maintain this control:
1. Manipulating the populace: In ancient Rome, it was "bread and circuses" to keep the population busy with entertainment and distractions.

2. Limiting knowledge: They achieve this by lowering education standards and limiting cultural expression.

3. Censoring information: Dictatorships actively suppress any form of individual expression or opposing viewpoints.
