Àlawada, what business could be more serious than fame
If you had under the synergy between business nd fame you will would have understood why celebs take there fame into business nd endorsement deal. I forgive your ignorance undecided

LET me tell you one top secret ... People dey live Fame, it is fame that will leave people no let anybody bobo you
Don't worry. The richest people are not the fronts but if you are carried away by that, never mind, I don't think you understand the business. Ditto football and any other sports you see someone popular. Those behind the scenes pull the strings for the rest of the masses to focus on. Wealth is never loud, riches maybe, but wealth spends more money to get privacy than fame. Let's leave it here for this topic. Let's enjoy the anonymity of the internet wink 🌎

Well, I understand you very well.
And yes you're very correct about it all.
But
Hmm... Life is interesting.
Anyway I believe the apparatus of life should be kids will be taken care of by their parents, then when their parents grows so old, it is expected for the children to take care of their parents.
Easily assumed because of the love acquired over time for many years of family growth and development.

Notwithstanding...

One needs to store food or supplies/money whatever it can be called for old age most especially for those without children because they won't be able to have the strength to go for fishing or other kinds of work to chop at old age.
Unless the government can do normal responsibility to cater for them instead.

The bottom line is, we can actually save without greed, the greed is what brings out the problem in man.

I believe happiness is from satisfaction, and scarification is not of the rich because they want more

Am just learning the more about life, thanks for your words, it add up to more knowledge
I feel you. Now this is my MO

NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU.

It sounds evil but it's the reality. Take care of yourself first, accept responsibility for yourself and do not depend on anyone. I've been around old people since I was a child. The ones that depend on people always grumble about it. It's one of the humiliation of life. May we not experience this humiliation ritual because we cannot predict life no matter how perfect we plan for it. We often forget that we came to this world alone and will still go alone. No matter how much a mother loves her son, she won't go to the grave with him. It's important to plan. I agree with you on that but maybe I'm rapping too much. I came across this quote recently and it stayed with me not because of miserliness but the reminder of how life is 👇

"DO NOT BE LIKE A MISER WHO SAVES FOR THOSE WHO WILL BURY HIM"
- African Proverb

The world is a funny place to be which is why I posted some of those things before. We come without anything, we fight for everything, then when we have these things, especially money, we worry about how to keep it, maintain it and protect it and even provide for the future, then when we leave, we hope it is used the way we want it but by that time, no matter how powerful we are, we can't come from the grave to enforce it. We are just useless. We are so powerless. We are so irrelevant and even if, in the world beyond, we can see our enemy taking what we fought for, we still can't do anything. They are playing a video recording of our will and the child we thought would obey is the one saying "daddy, no na, I cannot accept that, we will challenge this will". I've seen too many things in this world that nothing surprises me anymore, therefore, instead of being disappointed in anyone else or bothered by these things that pretend to belong to me, I flow with the ocean waves. Betrayal only comes from expectations. Maybe it reminds us of what we can control and I take delight in the way the birds live. Not angry birds 🐦😂

This theme 👆 is common in religions and non-religious groups. Some of them call it a spirit of abundance but it takes an understanding mind to acknowledge what favor he has on earth but worries so much about the extra.

I believe happiness is from satisfaction, and scarification is not of the rich because they want more
I think you mean/t scarcity. Here is another thing of the rich. By the time you acquire so much, it becomes a burden. In fact, there are two things. One, you start to worry. Two, you either want more or you start to give. Being rich is not bad and I hope you do not think I am preaching against having more. I am just saying that when you recognize it, do what gives you peace. Many at times, you find out that after having more, they (the normal ones who still have a conscience) want to give from what they have. They find happiness in what they give away. They now realize that happiness was never in acquisition, it was more in disposal. What an irony cheesy We enjoy the process more than the end result, that's why we keep going for more and it becomes like an addiction. If money was enough to put a stop for us, Elon would have stopped, Dangote won't bother and some men won't go underwater to find the Titanic shipwreck. That is another thing about money. It funds a certain type of lifestyle but if you take a seat back and observe, you will just observe that it is PACKAGING. A resort is built in an island but guess what is there? Nature! The same nature we escaped from in the villages to go and acquire riches in the cities cheesy
The food we are served is packaged but someone else is eating it for free in another village. The house we live in has extra features, there is a house under water, there is a house near a zoo etc. These are just extra things but if you come to the basics of life, it remains that all human beings want SHELTER, FOOD and CLOTHING.

So enjoy getting more, but don't let getting more get into your head, don't let it control who you are. Don't let it determine what makes you happy. Give things out and there is a spiritual thing about letting things go so new things can come into your life😂
There is a show they used to have on CNN with that Ghanaian presenter. My worst day or something like that. The rich people on her show, when they talk about their losses, it is always big. I don't think a lot of people are willing to embrace loss. That all what you have can leave in an instant. And when you recognize your mortality and non-invincibility, you can live normal and be humble with life. This same Femi Otedola was once on that show too wink

1. The wise create proverbs for fools to learn, not to repeat.

2. Do not correct a fool or he will hate you ; correct a wise man, and he will appreciate you." - Bruce Lee

3. A fool has no delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own opinion. Proverbs 18:2

4. DO NOT SPEAK TO A FOOL, FOR HE WILL DESPISE The WISDOM OF YOUR WORDS.
- PROVERBS 23:9

5. A fool has to say something. A wise person has something to say." - African proverb

6. "The child doesn't know his father's poverty."
Once again, God bless you for these reminders

I should also add that not everyone is carried away by popularity. Fame does not necessarily pay the bills. In fact, those behind the scenes make more money than the artiste everyone is crazy about. That's why after some time, the, craze for limelight does not bother those who have tasted it before. They leave the spotlight for more serious business. So portable can have the popularity he enjoys but someone who does not want that will let him enjoy it. The Beatles singer, when he realised he only had few months to live, gave us the beats grin👇

lemme tell you what you missed, People Like Genevive, lagbaja manage to keep there life private cos they are very mindful of programs/show they attend ... Genevive will not even give you a platform to have that right to ask her any question. If you know her

Six you need to understand, i am not against private life or privacy, buh my point is if you want to be private avoid or dont be on some programs,

You dont want to talk about your family nd you dey go morayo family show undecided

you dont want to talk about your life buh naa you dem see for truth withchude show undecided sho tii get
No. The fact that I attend a program does not mean I have to answer all questions you give me. Even on the podcasts that call themselves uncensored, there are certain topics the guests have chosen not to talk about. I do not agree that if you are private, you do not go to some programs. Who made Morayo's program a family program? Did she tell you it's only families she will talk about? Have you forgotten that even this Ireti Doyle once had her daughter in the spotlight? Morayo cannot force me to talk about what I don't want to talk about. At least Morayo knew me before she invited me. Last week, I was watching a show, the man was giving his life history, saying so many things and he had previously mentioned names, then it got to one question and he said I wouldn't want to talk about it now.

You also cannot tell me that I should not choose some certain careers if I want privacy. There are some careers that put you in public's eyes but I also have my own right. Everyone has their own rights.

Have you also asked why she chose to share details with Chude but not with Morayo? Have you considered the journalist too? I have watched Morayo for a long time. She gets too nosy into people's personal lives and I have seen people stop her when they don't want to talk about personal issues on live TV. They can choose to do that and I see nothing wrong there. Morayo was carried away when she talked about her husband and it became a headline. This woman here has said she will talk about her own divorce on her own platform, within her control and I 100% agree with that. That's maturity and wisdom for someone like her in showbiz. She could be protecting her children for all you know and the world doesn't care about!

Mo gba ! people are entitle to there privacy but dont you think a private person should chose there profession with consideration smiley
No. I have come across a number of people who are celebs and they will tell you they are very private. They say the only reason why you think they are otherwise is because they have to perform. An example was Lagbaja. Genevieve Nnaji, Asa etc. I don't believe a personality should state the kind of profession you choose, you just have to deal with it. Privacy is power and suffering from the hands of paparazzi, media and followers is not easy. You know celebrities have left social media because of the pressure. Human beings can put up appearances. You insist on celebrities but I've watched people who dance, do wild stuff and they will tell you that once the show is over, this is their ME time. It's just what it is.

Even in the West where homosexuality is decriminalized many people still face discrimination or loneliness, hence the depression and anxiety levels. I thought you'd mention far worse mental health issues which you choose to describe as "disorders" to drive your point.

Many heterosexual people also suffer from depression and anxiety due to social media pressure, for example. Let's also demonize them and characterize their conditions as "mental disorders", shall we. And then beat them up.
Fair enough, I know people can actually be depressed regardless of their gender orientation but what I am saying is that when you choose to be out of the clan, you have to understand what the consequences will be. For instance, the woman who decided to act like a man, what happened to her eventually? She suffered from depression after the experiment.

Live and let's live. If those gays have mental health issues it might be because of the public hatred displayed by people like you.
Look, i used to hate those gays and lesbians until one day I asked myself wether they are actually the source of my problems or the problems facing Africa.
We have the least numbers of homosexuals in the world yet we are still the poorest and the most backward.
I told myself what is my business with those who prefers different holes from the ones I'm used to? What's my headache with those tongue specialists? Are they the reasons politicians fu**ked up my continent?
Are those pulpit Yahoo boiz not worse and doing more hard than the homosexuals?
That's the only way I could help my sanity. I shouldn't be a judge of other people's harmless decisions. No one forces me to become homosexual so why should I care?
I am not going to be political correct but if I were gay, God forbid I was, I would just do my thing and move on since I know the society is not ready to accept it. I do not believe that society should not put guardrails because if not for that, incest will be a thing of pride. What are we saying sef? We know whites who have dark white secrets. Racoon:
"Former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi admitted that the 2012 "Occupy Nigeria" fuel subsidy protests were driven by political interests and opposition politics rather than genuine conviction, stating that he and his colleagues in the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) knew the subsidy was unsustainable but used it to target President Goodluck Jonathan.

Fayemi described the 2012 protests against Jonathan’s administration as a political maneuver, acknowledging that the APC opposition at the time played politics with the truth about the necessity of subsidy removal.

Despite the 2012 resistance, Fayemi maintained that removing the subsidy was necessary for the country's economic health. He contrasted Jonathan's hesitation to remove the subsidy with President Bola Tinubu’s swift action, describing the latter as an act of courageous leadership, though he urged better management of the aftermath.

Wouldn't you also develop mental health issues if you faced constant rejection and loneliness?

It's a fact that there is a varied spectrum of human sexuality, and no religion or jail time has ever or will ever prevent from occuring. All you can do is trample on the rights of others to be who they want to be but there'll forever be gays (a small minority by the way) because that's just who they are.

@brainless54, Tinubu assured me all is good - that's why I'm back😎
The bot hid my comment. I no get strength and time to rewrite. One of the things I wrote was the BioWar against SA. Also, have you considered that the mental health problems by the LGBTQs is because they are going against nature and their minds are talking to them? Sade Adu is a celebrity. There are certain things that she never tells about herself. I have watched her interviews and there are some questions she won't answer or simply laugh it off. In fact, some people have mystified her that she only gives interviews once in a century. It is their work you love, not their life. Learn to differentiate that. They can be terrible examples to learn from. You should learn from your family first, not strangers you admire.

Sade Adu, the lead singer of the band Sade, is renowned for her extremely private and enigmatic nature, often operating far outside the traditional celebrity spotlight. Her approach to fame is characterized by long absences between projects and a focus on "music first, celebrity second".

Key Aspects of Her Privacy:
1."Music First" Mentality: Sade rarely grants interviews or appears in the media, leading to a "magic without mystery" reputation where her public persona is almost solely defined by her music.

2. Long Hiatuses: After decades in the industry, she has only released six studio albums, often disappearing for years between projects.

3.Avoidance of Spotlight: She has stated that breaking away from the spotlight allows her to remember why she creates music and prevents her from doing it just because she is "on a roll".

4. Comfort in the Studio: Producer Robin Millar noted that Sade is more comfortable in the studio, crafting sound, than on stage, partly because she dislikes the intense scrutiny of live performance.

Privacy Amidst Public Interest:
Despite her desire for privacy, she has occasionally made headlines regarding her personal life, such as a 1997 traffic incident in Jamaica and her support for her son's transition. Her enigmatic presence has also made her a long-term fashion icon, frequently referenced for her "expensive, cool, and timeless" look.
