Men are getting wiser now but women are not happy about it because the secret is finally out.

If you are a man I beg you to put yourself first. Be selfish when if comes to taking care of yourself. Life is not about overworking and constantly paying bills. Don't go through unecessary stress for any woman. Take care of your physical and mental health. Go for regular checkups. Watch what you eat and give yourself peace of mind.

Take away the disproportionate stress from "responsibilities" imposed by society and there is absolutely no reason why a man should not live longer than a woman

Some time ago I posted a comment in a thread where I mentioned that I was nervous on the day my wife gave birth to our first child. My elder sister who was taking the delivery asked me to leave because I was distracting her.

A good government primary responsibilities are just 3. First is to protect the people, if people don't feel safe nothing works, right now we can't say the government has made the country safe for the citizen. Second responsibility is to provide public goods like stable electricity, good road,public health infrastructure and clean water e.t.c to improve the well-being of the citizen but these are luxury to average Nigerians.Lastly a government basic responsibility is to put a good system that works in place, a system that protect right of citizen,a system that ensure inflation doesn't destroy the savings of a common man. In hindsight, insurgency is what we are discussing today in 2026. It didn't decline just because APC came to power.


In 2016, his list included families receiving generational blessings, life swinging upward, Nigeria getting tougher before getting better, natural disasters worsening, a new sexually transmitted disease surfacing, and a major war being averted.

Result:
There was no confirmed emergence of a new STD as predicted, and evidence does not show natural disasters were dramatically worse globally in ways explained in the prophecy. Improvements or challenges in Nigeria that year were part of ongoing patterns, not clear matches to the specifics.

So if that his wife dies, what does her family do the man (widower)? Send him back? Customs and traditions protect the future first, even when the present bleeds. We all want order, that's why they had many of these things as deterrent to prevent people from the disruption of social order.

When a child is born, the mother is known but the father must be proven. Our people were not ready for confusion, no DNA so they came up with another proverb that only a mother knows the father! This is still true today if you watch paternity cases, despite DNA and advancement in tech. The elders punished where they were certain, not where guessing began because lineage fears confusion. Some of the judgment they served then is now called jungle justice. Bear in mind that we have a lot of traditional families and they didn't want a bastaaard to inherit the throne.
