But this is not HP. And definitely not anywhere close to Apple, not in this lifetime.

Meaning Nigerians are dumb and lazy?

We cant even be competitive with China?

We are not talking of a highly educated work-force here, that needs to be well maintained? No retirement benefits. No sick pay. No vacation pay. No retirement fund. No minimum wage; as a matter of fact you can afford to not pay Nigerian workers for 6 months and still have them arrested if they dont show up for work. No legacy cost ( This is what killed GM). Humongous tax breaks; MTN didnt pay any tax in their first ten years of operation. Very low electricity cost; in fact, if they dont pay for power, like many Nigerians do, no one will say anything and life goes on. Huge unemployment; meaning, there is ready made college educated manpower ready and willing to do anything, for chicken change.

And in spite of all these advantages that we have over other well regulated but low paying economies, we still cant compete with China? There is no hope then. We might as well lie down and wait for asteroid Apophis to kill us all.

Your long rant notwithstanding, I'm deeply saddened that YOU have contributed NOTHING to the development of mankind. It seems you're so sure you can beat China in the business of production/manufacturing so please go ahead and lets hear your name. In the mean time, we have seen Innoson, Omatek and now Inye. Kindly develop your economic rants into a theory and set up a production plant, then you can come here and lecture us on tax, electricity, Nigerian worker etc. Mtchewwww

Islam for Muslims / Re: Ramadan Starts Tomorrow : Tarawee Starts Today! by skeletine(m): 11:41am On Jul 19, 2012
maclatunji:

I went to the bank this morning and witnessed this conversation (Paraphrased) .

Banking Officer: Alfaaaaa...
Customer (Alfa): Good morning

BO: Awe n ko (What of fasting)? It will start tomorrow, you will pray Asham today?
Alfa: Errrr... we have not yet sighted the new moon.

BO: But the Boko Harams... Hausas have started theirs yesterday. shocked shocked shocked shocked
Alfa: We don't rely on such, it is dependent on sighting the moon.

Now, this banking officer is a graduate of an higher institution surely and she just said something that is totally false with full confidence. It is when i witness things like that that I seriously feel I have to help to kill the mindless ignorance that people readily embrace- it is very irritating!

There is no where in Nigeria that fasting has started and she has already counted a day for people in the North, shocking! I don't know what her religion is but her ignorance is abysmal!

You seriously feel you have to help to kill mindless ignorance cos she misinformed aight? but you're seem to be very much in comfort by her describing the Hausas as Boko Harams; looks like there's no offence in that......to you. I am disappointed in the both of you and the miseducated banker

Vogue50: u sound as if u have the answers to all our enormous problems in this country. That will be lovely if u can give cogent views that will Propagate government's effort but if u can't, kindly keep quiet and stop blabbering! ! The Government has taken giant strides already in the agric ,transport, aviation, health and most especially in the oil sector. If the legislatures pass the PIB into law; that should be a remarkable achievement .it will eliminate corruption, retard!ng economy and inflation, on the other-hand grow our economy, enhance job creation, and reduce the rate of poverty. This is a democratic government ! Bills are been passed into act by the national assembly before its execution by the executive arm of government. U made this frivolous comment " the poorest and most uneducated will do better than Jonathan if given the enormous resources and goodwill " .Common sense should tell u that security , social amenities and infrastructure ,health etc are also enormous challenges which u or your so- called " poorest and uneducated Nigerian" wont comprehend if given the opportunity to be the president of this country. U also talked about "good will". How can bokoharam insurgence, corruption, and more especially people like u on social media - distorting facts to enable un-informed Nigerians like u believe on falsehood ! - that have been plotting his downfall be an exhibition of " GOODWILL" ?
Some f.o.o.l claimed to have the answers to our problems and sought the office; so the onus is on them to run it. The alternative is....... seek the EXIT sign in Aso rock. Regards.

Billyonaire: Every poor man now has enough knowledge to educate a President, But not enough knowledge to make money to fuel his generator.
Poverty and common sense are actually mutually exclusive. Regards

@Big B1
It is very obvious you are uninformed and possibly demented. How could a nation be so violently raped and you can celebrate? How could the few guys who has little credibility in them get so thrown about and its like your birthday? Get this, If you were Ribadu and you have a president for a boss, what better could this lousy you have done? Well, I'm glad they're playing their cards and unfortunately for their weak minds, they could not even put up a blind, they are dancing in the open and now we know that rule of law has both english and hausa meanings, will somebody translate it for me in hausa? I'm sure the meaning in english is different. Saraki, Ibori, Odili, Akume - lets go! Its time to celebrate if y'all are in town to pop the wines afterall y'all have your passports to the world now. Diplomatic ones for that matter

Dear Mr. Lucabrasi,
I admonish you replenish your informed perception of your honourable self. This is not to contribute to the rich argument but to point you to rich understanding. from your post, you though you knew little about contracts but i advice you go and read. you made the elements of contracts so simplistic thereby distorting the meaning and getting it all wrong. Please update yourself and stop misinforming people, especially about consideration and intention, i mean intention to create legel relations - that it in full, you will do well for yourself if only you'd read. Good day bro
