Agriculture / Re: Farmer Battles To Rescue Sheep Buried In Snow In Staffordshire (Pics, Video) by skeletine(m): 8:37am On Dec 04, 2021
Righteousness2:
Sheer love between a Man and his wife towards their sheep.

This is a Pictorial evidence of what My "Precious DADDY" is all about in these last of last Moments of the age of Grace.

My Precious Daddy, JESUS Christ is Searching, Finding, Canvassing and Ensuring the Gospel is put out through all available means, all in a bid to Rescue the lost and perishing from Confusion, Destruction, Death and Hell.

No matter how Messed up you are, The Hands of JESUS is Stretched towards you and HE is saying Come! I Love you and I Died for you.

Don't Delay folks! Heed to the call now you can , because tomorrow may be too late and there is no chance for Repentance in the Grave.
Nobody is going to hell if your 'Precious Daddy' is this gracious.
As you may see, the farmer did not 'choose' which sheep to searched for; he had ABSOLUTELY NO CRITERIA to determine who to save. He wanted ALL BACK! Productive or not.
The sheep were deep in the 'grave' and literally buried but still, they were redeemed.
If there really is a LOVING GOD comparable to this great farmer, there would be nothing like hell.
And life would be cool for ALL.
FORGET all this threat,Bros.

Elume whatever,
Have you ever heard the name James Nwafor in the history of this nation?

The man who along with his fellow devils killed over 100 Anambra youths?

What have you said about that Massacre?!

Bunch of shameless hypocrites.

Reading the link below will bring tears to your eyes if you have blood flowing in your veins.

https://hallmarknews.com/chilling-tales-of-sars-brutality-the-awkuzu-abattoir/

Excerpts.....

I was tied, my hands and my legs at the back together, and I was being tortured. They just wanted me to say, Yes, I did it. Of course, I didn’t do anything, I was just 17 at that time, and I was not ready to say I did it. But the torture was too much, I couldn’t stand anymore. I had to agree that yes, I did it. Because that was the only way they said they would stop torturing me.

“The social action team came in; I had been in prison for three years, because my case was dumped in a court that was not sitting. So, they helped me to pick it up and transfer it to a court that was sitting. And they were paying my lawyer to hasten up the case. That was how I was discharged and acquitted.”

Esther’s account is one of many, and the bulk of such happened in Anambra, particularly in Awkuzu, where activists say, is the ground zero of SARS brutality in the country.

So you were also recruited?

Boundary dispute has been an issue in all states of the federation since independence, it doesn't have ethnic attachment, just like Volcano some are Dormant, Active or Seasonal.
Most boundary disputes becomes active when natural resources is discovered, land suddenly becomes scarce due to population growth & farming etc...
There is a federal commission that settles such disputes but politics, corruption and lack of funds has made them ineffective.

The Bible says God has made all things for Himself even the wicked for the day of evil.(Prov 16:4

A lot of us would never appreciate God if there were no devil.

If there were no diseases, how would we know God can heal? If there were no death, how would we know God can raise the dead?

The existence of satan makes us appreciate God more because He is ever there to save us from the devil and when we are saved, a stronger love and bond is built between God and us.

Whether the devil exists or not, that doesn't matter anymore since there is that great love and bond between God and us.
In essence, the devil is a part in the plot to 'bond' 'us' with god. Right?
The question I saw being asked up there is 'why send some people to eternal suffering for a plan that he and he alone made and executed?
What good god does that?

Chrismanuel:
the comments I have read so far on the subject matter really shows that majority of the people commenting here are not living in ekiti and if some do, they seems to forget we are in Nigeria. anyway my comments will not be sentimental becos as a resident and a native of ekiti and also a Catholic church member, I should be able to tell u d truth in this forum. firstly we all know how important it is for all state governor to generate More revenue due to Nigeria economy, secondly do you all know how much my church charges student and pupils for school fees? if no then i can tell you that this church advocating for free education charges student school fees the most as far as ekiti is concerned. moreover, the development levy was unanimously agreed upon by all education stakeholders in ekiti, both from public and private sectors.. catholic is not the only church that has mission school here, deeper life, celestial, anglican, methodist churches also are here. the truth u people dont know is that. catholic bishop of ekiti is a good friend to the defeated former governor kayode fayemi and fayemi is also a catholic. i have listened to the bishop's sermon very well and i know he is a good sympathizer for fayemi so fayose remains his political and religious enemy. im not apc or pdp watever but a typical ekiti man and a catholic faithful.

Sir, you're not saying the truth and also very hypocritical. While I cannot say if the Catholic schools charge higher, the issue here is about "whether school children should pay taxes despite the provisions of the law that states otherwise.
Catholic Church is not the only church that own schools but is it an offense if it's the only one that goes to court as it feels the fundamental rights of it's school children are infringed upon?

I am also Ekitian, half - resident and a Catholic but I care less who the bishop prefers between Fayemi and Fayose. What should bother us is the legality and reasonability of imposing taxes on school children in the name of generating revenue.

I was in Iye-Ekiti last week when the task force came to shut down a private school with a full complement of the police, civil defense corps and their loud sirens.

They sent children out of school for not paying taxes....... SAD

That your "team" does not know how to do it does not mean another person outside that circle does not know. I did it on mine since 2011, and the entire cooling system has been working perfectly till this moment, with so many trips I have done with the lion.

Are you in Abuja? If yes, bring the lion to me to do it for you. Trust me, you will constantly smile everytime you listen to engine note because it will start sounding differently once you swap in the electrical fan. And the fuel economy will greatly improve. You will marvel at how good that lion conserves fuel.

However, I can still guide you on how you can do it yourself. I saved pictures of how I did mine. Will find it and guide you with the installation.

Ikenna, the Lion king.

Thanks IK, cant ask for more. I'm in Lagos so I would have to take directions on how to go about it. Please go ahead and educate us. I also recently acquired a 'Best line' model but intends to 'work it' to this generation - I mean replace the 'padded' bumpers with this shiny steel bumber to get the oldies look. Whatcha think?

Also,

I would suggest you install thermostat in that cooling system, which I assume is absent/removed from the thermostat housing. The thermostat housing is that metal part where upper radiator hose is clamped on the engine side or where the upper radiator hose stopped on cylinder head (engine), which is shown in one of the engine bay pictures you posted.

If you are interested in installing the thermostat,I can get the factory opening temperature for you. Probably the one in my ZN3J may work in yours too.

Ikenna

I wish to do ALL as advised but, like you know: knowledge is power. How can you help please?
Car Talk / Re: Newly Restored 1979 Peugeot 504. by skeletine(m): 9:34am On Sep 08, 2015
Ikenna351:

Yes, PAN SR basically have the double round headlights as standard.

From the engine bay pictures you posted, the cylinder head, intake manifold & Air filter are suggesting the engine is not 2.0, unless it was replaced at some point with 1.8 litre cylinder head. However, standard PAN SR had 1.8 litre engines, though were all XN engines as well.

If you want to enjoy better fuel economy and long engine life span, I would suggest you convert the radiator mechanical fan to electric fan. It's very easy and I can guide you. The mechanical fan bolted to that water pump pulley creates a lot of drag as acceleration increases on XN engines in Nigeria, which add heavy load on the engine and consume more fuel. Foreign 504s all had Viscous mechanical fan, not the bolt on type you have. The temperature sensor on the radiator can serve as a trigger for the fan and it works perfectly just like modern cooling system fans in newer Peugeots. It will also help the engine run at optimal temperature for less wear and tear. You will marvel at how less noisy the engine would become, when you remove that mechanical fan.

Ikenna
Thanks Ikenna,

I have consulted with my 'team' and they think it cannot be done. They reckon the electrical fan cannot fit into the space given the protruding part that encases the water pump. I will appreciate your guidance in reworking the fan system.

Regards.

Yes, the GL/TI dashboard is different from series 2 504s (SR, GR, etc). But he said the focus was restoration and upgrade (modifications). And since quite a number GL owners in Nigeria removed and mounted Series 2 (SR) dashboards in their GL, I couldn't rule it out until he said otherwise. For example, PAN 504s had no power steering, but TI had power steering. But he swapped in/ installed one now.

Some people back then considered GL dashboards as outdated and went on swapping in the "newer" model dashboards, which couldn't fit well since GL and SR bodies were completely different. Funny enough, the GL dashboards looks better and very unique, especially the way the central vent comes out and goes in.

Another thing I found that suggested it was not GL were the door mats. The GL door mats were different and last forever "almost".

However, the front seats of this one are series 2 seats, while the foreign produced GL & TI seats were unique and completely different. But the GL produced by PAN had the SR seats (series 2 504s), just like Op 504.

We are still waiting for him to upload the engine bay picture, to know if its GL XN engine or the 1.8 litre engine.

Ikenna
Here are pictures of the engine bay.
I have replaced the contact set with electronic ignition and doormats have been replaced.
For the fact that the car was parked for years, almost all plastic /rubberized parts had worn out /lost shape so I had to replace them all. I also changed the the round twin headlamps to the single square you see here.
