Guys today is my day to change my $2800. What's the correct abo.ki rate for today?

I understand the pains our brothers abroad and some of our local businesses are going through but I still believe fiscal policy is not enough to fight low productivity or depletion of naira. As a matter of fact increments in tax rate has never done the masses real good, remember the vat increment regime that created alot of menace and hyper inflation in the economy .... I still believe the strict monetary policy set up by the CBN is for the good of the masses let's endure to sacrifice for the future of our unborn child, even IMF can't negotiate the policy because I believe we are not the only country using this kind of policy globally. You have a good view right there,however we have to be careful of naira devaluation. Let's remember Zimbabwea currency!

Naira shall reamian btw 262/265 this week cos $10000 shall be sold to BDC tmmrw Wednesday hopefully. If FG fails to sell by tmmrw ,the rate will go up!

You failed to point out that CBN have a target of minimum of $50bn to enable them remove the strict policy on dollar.... that's when everything can go back to normal and I believe with the way the economy is been handled we can achieve more than $50bn foreign reserve..... it means all hands must be on deck. As citizens, we have to patronize our own products and services, export our local products and services etc and FG will keep up the good policy history, end insurgency, encouraging local production and review export and import policies etc-----------> my view!

Read again, I mentioned $50bn.Well maybe I didnt say “minimum”. Sure I believe we can achieve that but with time. My question is,why not use taxation instead of this hard means been implored by the FG?

It is possible we might again hit 280 at the parallel market if the FG fails to sell to BDC after the market reopens on the 4th of January 2016. Keep your money for now and watch as event unfold!!!

There is no possibility of naira improving in the new year. The reasons are 1,FG is planning on eradicating BDC,u know what that means? It means there will be high demand of dollars which will affect the rate of dollars. 2, building our foreign reserve is important, right now our foreign reserve is under $30bn,FG want to build it close to $50bn,so in that case,there might not be weekly sales of forex which will also lead to demand on the parallel market due to unavailability of dollars. 3, the bank card abroad usage ban is in effect from today! 4 there might be some international polices in US this year to strenghten the dollar.

News reaching me now that FG needs to build our foreign reserve, that BDC could be banned. Don't u think this will lead to dollar scarcity? There will be more demand when there is no supply sky rocketing the rate.
