The greatest news I have heard today!

More jobs for Nigerian youth
More money for Nigeria

But I hope the companies manage the refineries instead of the Govt. NNPC should just be a advisory and supervision board.

Even though I dont support kidnappers, I think the death penalty might be a harsh decision. A Life-in-Jail sentence might send the right message to the kidnappers.
Before the contract was sealed with her, it was said that she had been made to part with N11.8 million by the commissioner of transport under the guise of making her to pay contract fee which, according to the commission source, “had no documentation”.

The commission’s operatives were said to have recovered the car with the commissioner, while access was said to have been denied to the three with the governor’s wife.

It was when nothing was forthcoming from the state government despite the supply of sample and payment of contract fee that the American reportedly petitioned the anti-corruption agency.
this oyibo woman take style foolish ooo.

How do you explain a transaction of this magnitude without documentation? How could she have parted with such a large sum without any kind of receipt or something?

Abeg, I think there's another part to this story.

Jokes Etc › Beinjing 1995: Women "liberation" Conference by skillworks(op): 3:00pm On Oct 21, 2009
In 1995, women all over the world gathered in China to learn how to dominate their families and societies all over the world. They were taught how to oppose every form of intimidation from their male counterparts.

Two months later three women were selected from 3 different countries (USA, Netherlands and Nigeria) to testify how successful they have been in opposing the men. the

These are true stories that happened after the conference:

At first, he thought I was joking but after three days, he started washing his clothes and preparing his meals

AUDIENCE:  Applause

NETHERLANDS woman:

Romance › Re: Would You Date/marry An Older Girl? why or why not? by skillworks(m): 12:30pm On Oct 20, 2009
Honestly, I think I like older gals. From my experience, they tend to be more mature and understanding than the younger ones.

But there's limit to the age gap thing oo. For me, maximum of 3 years is ok. Anything above that is not welcome.

Programming › Re: Asp.net Problem Please Help Someone Out. by skillworks(m): 4:34pm On Oct 09, 2009
Kobojunkie,

I have a smaller problem with ASP.NET. I want my web application to be able to get the entries made by users on an ASP.NET form to be able to report to an SQL database.
I want an easy way to do this. Some other folks have been kind to suggest other methods, however I found those methods a little difficult.

Please suggest an easy method to do this.

My Uncle's Son talks a lot of things. He is 3 years. He said something nasty recently:

The boy: Daddy, do HEARTS have LEGS?
My Uncle: (A little confused) No, Why? Hearts stay inside our bodies, but legs are outside.
The boy: But last night, you told mummy "SweetHEART, open your LEGS"

I dont intend to blast you o, but I dont think your website befits the loud trumpet you are blowing. If you website [which is a web-based solution] is this bad, I can only imagine how your Standalone applications woud look like.

Anyway, I encourage you to study more so that you can improve, instead of blasting indians and nigerians

Tech Jobs › Re: School Management Software! Anybody? by skillworks(m): 5:42pm On Oct 13, 2008
This is really interesting.

My uncle owns a moderately large school in LAGOS. The school has both primary and secondary areas. I saw this post some days back and I told him that I have met some guys that can give him a sophisticated software that can help HIM, his PRINCIPALS and TEACHERS manage their schools.

Honestly, I never knew that something like this exists, but I can only imagine how this School software thing will look like.

I contacted one of the guys here in Nairaland and he gave me what he called a DEMO of the software thing. It has manuals and directions on how to use it. My Uncle has seen it and he is so impressed with it.

However, I want to make this an open race. If you have this kind of software that can manage a primary or secondary school, please you can write to me on my personal email. joshuaotuonye@yahoo.com

Please do well to tell us how your own option can help our school better. If you have a DEMO, then better, because I think people respond faster to what they can see. TELL US ANYTHING YOU THINK WILL MAKE US BUY YOUR SOFTWARE OPTION INSTEAD OF OTHERS WHICH WE HAVE SEEN.

I AM SERIOUS. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. MY UNCLE IS REALLY INTERESTED IN GETTING THIS KIND OF THING.

Please dont forget to tell me the cost of your software, so that we can make comparisons.
