It's unfortunate that some gullible individuals on Nairaland still can't see through the scam. I feel sorry for them. 😂😂😂
So you think I will use my main monicker that I registered since 2012 to post this? A monicker that has too much personal info, including my wedding picture.......

Anyone that believes this is a scam, thats their own cup of tea. It will even help reduce the number of applications pouring in.

I am even too busy to reply things like this.........back to work jare.

I am seeing some of your emails and I can see that a few of you do not quite understand this initiative.

I will state it here again, and for the last time.

We are not empowering you with cash for obvious reasons. We are empowering you with a Fast Moving product worth one hundred thousand naira. You are encouraged to reinvest the funds you get from that product back into your existing business or back into that same product. The choice is entirely yours.

Dont send emails soliciting for cash because that is an automatic rejection. This is a product empowerment, not cash empowerment.

Once we reach the target of 40 viable applications for Product Empowerment in the email, this exercise shall be discontinued.
BusinessRe: Giving 4M Back To Nairaland As I Clock 40 Years Of Age This Year by skybeginner(op): 8:59am On Jan 16, 2025
Good Morning Family.

The Expression of Interest for the Product Empowerment opens by 9 a.m. today and I wish those of you interested in it, all the best.

Before you send in your application, please note:

1. To avoid mismanagement of funds and to actualize the objective of this empowerment, we are empowering you with products worth one hundred thousand naira, as we need to ensure that the empowerment you receive will not be mismanaged.

You are highly encouraged to use this opportunity as a springboard for that same business because it is a Fast-Moving business (I will send you the details of the warehouse if you are interested, but if you decide another alternative business, it is fine.

2. Your application does not need to be typed on any document. We want to make this process as seamless as possible for you, so typing in the body of your email will suffice. The subject should be: Application for Product Empowerment.

3. Be truthful about every information you send in, to avoid disqualification.
You are required to send the following information to the email address: admin@solutions4humanity.org

1. Your full name
2. Your full address
3. Gender: Male/Female
4. Your phone number
5. Your WhatsApp number if different from the number above.
6. Your current business (if any). If none, that won’t be a problem.
7. Three cogent reasons why you need to be empowered with products worth 100,000 Naira, and what you will do with the money.

After the first 40 entries sent to the email indicated above, we will close the Expression of Interest. As I mentioned yesterday, it is on a first come first served basis.

Best of Luck to you all

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by skybeginner: 5:34pm On Jul 03, 2022
Good day to all the gurus here. I've been a silent follower of this thread and appreciate everyone's immense contribution. I have been able to get adequate answers to several questions I had just by going through this thread and this has streamlined my question to only 1, which is why I am here.

Please I need advise on securing PhD admission in Canadian universities. I have a very strong career and academic profile and that won't be a limitation.

The reason I came on here to ask is that several years ago when I decided to pursue this dream, I reached out to several professors in different schools seeking to be engaged for my PhD with them; however, none responded even after several follow up mails.

Between that time and now, God has been gracious to enable me build a very strong career, serving in a high position with an international organisation. I want to deploy the funds available to me to pursue the PhD dream I had once abandoned. Of course I'd prefer it to be fully funded. I just want to explore all avenues possible of achieving this dream.

Please what can I do differently this time around to increase my chances of getting a PhD admission in Canada?

I would appreciate all the insight I can get.

Thank you in advance

I just fininshed reviewing CVs + Cover Letters and providing recommendations on areas to be improved upon for those that sent theirs in.

Even though a few needed only very little modifications, I am quite saddened by the majority of CVs and Cover letters I came across. We really have a long way to go. Without having a basic acceptable CV/CL, the vacancies posted on this page may not amount to much when you send in your applications. There is no way some can be invited for test talk less of interview based on these CVs, considering the calibre of applicants you are competing against.

It is quite exhausting going through each CV + Cover Letter and making tailor-made recommendations for improvement but I finished doing it anyway. Subsequently on this thread, I shall be sharing insights on how/how not to draft a CV or Cover Letter based on the generic and very common mistakes I've seen people make in these documents. It's going to be a very busy weekend as usual, but I'll squeeze out time to get it done.

Good night ooops Good Morning smiley
