wow... your grant was very smooth. I applied since 20th April and did biometric on 23rd April and am still waiting for my own grant. They have not contacted me for anything and the resumption is on 23rd July.

I have been following this thread since last year and have always visited on daily basis to read updates as it relates to Visa applicants. I would say without reservations that this thread has been insightful , informative, knowledge packed and mind lifting.I always prayed for a day to share my testimony too and lo and behold the Lord made it come to fruition.

-The whole journey started last year July.
Wrote IELTS July 29th.
-RMIT admission application denial September.
-Newcastle Admission grant, although it was for 1 year, so I didn't go with it.
- Victoria University admission denial October
As at this time, I was already giving up coupled with the alarming refusal rate then. Fastforward to March 1st.
- CQUniversity Admission grant.
Course : Masters of management for Engineers.
Melbourne Campus.
Visa application : 17th May.
Biometrics: 21st May.
Medicals : 21st May.

Visa Grant: 16-06-2018.

Documents submitted.
- COE
- SOP
-Employment letters.( Offer, Confirmation and Promotion).
- Work ID card.
- Letter of introduction
- Study leave letter
- International Passport.
-Yellow Card.
-OPV certificate.
- Sponsorship Letter.
-Sponsors SOA.
- Affidavit of Sponsorship. My elder brother was my sponsor.
-Sponsors birth certificate.
- My birth Certificate.
- Sponsors International Passport.
- My international Passport.
- Waec Cert
- Degree Cert and Transcript.
- Survey plan of my Landed property.
- Previous UK and USA visa denials.

For those yet to get their grants, just hang on and optimistically believe, God will surely send yours across. Never give up on any dream until you turn it into a reality.

I spoke to my Agent today, He said the status is at FURTHER ASSESSMENT....hope there is improvement?

Today makes it 48 days since I applied for a student visa, No contact from the CO, no additional document requested, nothing nothing... dem just bone face �

Application status still showing "Initial processing". The estimated processing time stated on the portal as at when I applied (April) was 26-42days which later changed to 40 - 50days. Friday will make it 50days of waiting.

And school orientation date is 20th July, WSU.

Do I need to contact them now or just chill a little more before sending a mail or calling them. Advice please.

Same thing with me. Today is 47 days since I applied and I have not heard anything from them and I can't even view my status cos i don't have access to it..their mail goes to my Agent (PFL)

Collins and Miracle are no where to be found.

I refuse to believe you. It's either your time line is fabricated or you are not giving us the full information because never have I heard or read anywhere both on or outside NL that Australia gave out a student visa without SOA, please come out clean.. Thanks

the one at island is good cos that is where i did mine. u just need to ask ur agent to book you for medical then u are good to go
