RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, 29TH APRIL, 2026 THEME: HE CAME TO LIVE IN YOU THEME SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38). The Lord Jesus was called the Anointed One. He was anointed as the Christ, the Messiah, the Chosen One. The question is, how did it happen? The Holy Ghost came upon Him to enter into Him. This is where many have been confused. They say the Holy Spirit upon is different from the Holy Spirit within, but that is not correct. In the New Testament, He comes upon you for the purpose of entering into you. He doesn't come upon you to stay on you. This is why the anointing is not something that rests on an office. God never anointed an office. He anointed people. The anointing is personal because it is the Holy Spirit coming into a man or woman. Even in the Old Testament, when certain articles were anointed, it meant they were separated. The articles that were used in the temple were not to be used for anything else. That was consecration. They were separated unto God for divine ministry. In the same way, when the Holy Spirit came into you, He separated you as God's living tabernacle. Therefore, you're consecrated, not by a title, but by the indwelling Spirit. Now, if you will trust what you already got, you will do amazing things. It's for the same reason we tell God's people not to seek a new anointing or double portion anointing; you already received the fullness of the Spirit when the Holy Spirit came to live in you: "For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him"(John 3:34). Hallelujah! CONFESSION Through the Holy Spirit who lives in me, I am consecrated as God's living tabernacle, set apart for His divine purpose. I trust what I have received and I walk in the reality of God's power within me. I do amazing things by the power of the Holy Spirit, for His glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. [3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, [is] God; [22] Who hath sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 23:26-49 & 2 Samuel 4-6 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN 1 Corinthians 1:10-21 & Psalm 139-140 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, 28TH APRIL 2026 THEME: POWER, DOMINION, AND STRENGTH THEME SCRIPTURE: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might (Ephesians 6:10). In Christ, fear has no place in your life. The fright files should be permanently deleted. God didn’t call you to live timidly or under the influence of human limitations. He gave you a life of power, dominion and strength. That’s why Paul, by the Spirit, said, “...be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10). Then in 2 Timothy 1:7, he says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” This is God’s Word showing you who you are and what you have in Christ: you’re full of power, full of love, and you have an excellent mind. God’s Word is a mirror. Look into it, see yourself, and act accordingly. Insist that you’re who He says you are, you have what He says you have, and can do what He says you can do. Lay hold of the image of you that the Word projects; don’t let it go. James 1:23-25 (NIV) says, “Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” God’s Word reveals your true nature and identity; you’re not the natural man; you’re spiritual and supernatural. Keep your focus on the Word and see your greatness, your strength, your abilities and your potentialities. See that you’re full of power by the Holy Ghost. While the natural man is dominated by fear, discouragement, and confusion, you’re full of courage, faith and power. Even now, declare, like the Prophet Micah, “…truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might…” (Micah 3: . Make up your mind to live in the Word and live the Word. When you live in the Word, you enjoy your life gloriously. You dominate circumstances and the elements of this world; you’re in charge and in control; you’re in a perpetual victory parade. Hallelujah!PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for calling me into a life of boldness, strength and courage. I live in and by your Word. I refuse fear, discouragement, or human limitations. I am the Word in action, manifesting Christ’s glory to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 26TH APRIL 2026 THEME: YOU’RE OF THE GOD-KIND THEME SCRIPTURE: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ… written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Corinthians 3:3). As learnt in our previous study, Christianity isn’t a set of moral codes or religious system; it’s the manifestation of the divine life in a human person. You’re not an ordinary being. The Bible says, “...Ye are gods...” (Psalm 82:6; John 10:34). That’s because you’re born of God. Animals give birth to animals, and humans give birth to humans. If God gave birth to you through His Word, what does that make you? The Bible says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God…” (1 Peter 1:23). If you’re born of the Word, then you’re the Word, you’re of the God-kind. Hallelujah! The Word of God describes and defines you. The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, wrote: “Ye are our epistle… known and read of all men” (2 Corinthians 3:2). Then he takes it further by saying you’re the epistle of Christ. Just as the Lord Jesus was the Word made flesh, you are His Word expressed in human form, God’s letter to the world. Since this is true, live your life in harmony with His thoughts and His words. Fear, discouragement and human limitations are foreign to your nature. Live the transcendent life, the life of the Spirit. Exercise dominion over Satan and the elements of this world, for they’re under your feet. Speak the Word; think the Word; live the Word. Manifest Christ to your world; that’s your calling, that’s your life. You’re an associate of the God-kind, a partaker of the divine nature: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4). CONFESSION I’m God’s living tabernacle, a partaker of the divine nature. I live in the Word and by the Spirit. I manifest the life of Christ, His nature of love and righteousness. I refuse fear, discouragement and the limitations of the flesh. I walk in the liberty and dominion of the Spirit, revealing Christ in me. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 82:6 NIV “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’ 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [3] Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. John 1:12 NIV Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 22:1-38 & 1 Samuel 26-28 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 16:1-11 & Psalm 133-134 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 25TH APRIL 2026 THEME: YOU’RE THE MANIFESTATION OF CHRIST IN THE EARTH THEME SCRIPTURE: But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17). As a Christian, you must come to terms with the reality of the Gospel and the reality of who you are. You’re not someone who has embraced a religion but one in whom the life of God is tabernacled. When you received Christ, you were joined together with Him; you became one spirit with Him. You and Christ have become one. It’s an inseparable union. The Bible says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17). This is what makes Christianity real, living, and active. The Bible says, “...Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). Sin once robbed man of God’s glory, cutting him off from the divine life. But now, sin has been put away in Christ Jesus, and glory has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature….” This new creation is a divine being with the very nature of God. Being born again, you’re superior to Satan. Sin has no dominion over you (Romans 6:14). The new creation walks in newness of life, a life lived in righteousness, without condemnation, where you’re not striving to reach God, for you’re in Him, and He’s in you. Wherever you are, God is. He talks through you, He sees through your eyes, He walks through you, blesses and touches lives through you, because He lives in you. Let this be your meditation, your consciousness. You’re not a mere man; you’re the expression of Christ in the earth! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for your divine life in me and the manifestation of your glory and righteousness in and through me. I’m conscious that I’m in Christ and Christ is in me. I walk in righteousness, free from condemnation, manifesting your love, power and presence to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: [27] To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 2 Corinthians 4:7-11 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. [8] We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; [9] Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; [10] Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. [11] For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 21:5-38 & 1 Samuel 23-25 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 15:20-33 & Psalm 131-132 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 24TH APRIL THEME : CHRISTIANITY IS CHRIST IN YOU THEME SCRIPTURE: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). When the Lord Jesus was glorified, the Holy Spiritwas poured out to live in us. Christianity isn’t God “outside” you, helping you; rather, it’s Christ in you, the very life and essence of Christ tabernacled in your spirit. Salvation is you in Christ: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…” (2 Corinthians 5:17). But Christianity is Christ in you, Christ manifested in your daily walk, revealing His glory and character. The Lord Jesus talked about the Father in Him: “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake” (John 14:10-11). That’s your life now; the Father lives in you; His very life, presence, glory and righteousness are expressed through you. Religion keeps God outside of man, but Christianity makes Him alive in you. Christ is alive in you; let that be your song, your meditation and your consciousness. Death, sickness, weakness, discouragement, failure and confusion have no place in your life because Christ in you makes you divine. Christ in you means victory in you, courage in you, strength in you. Christ in you means glory in your life, dominion over circumstances, and authority over Satan, demons, hell and death. Hallelujah! This is Christianity: the unveiling of divinity from within you, the pulsating life of God manifested in and expressed through you. Blessed be God! CONFESSION Christ lives in me in all His fullness, strength and glory. Therefore, I walk in boldness, divine wisdom, victory and dominion over circumstances, authority over Satan, demons, hell and death. Thank you Lord for your pulsating life that is manifested in and expressed through me. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Colossians 1:26-27 NIV the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 20:20-21:1-4 & 1 Samuel 20-22 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 15:10-19 & Psalm 129-130 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 23RD APRIL 2026 THEME: RELEASE THE POWER FROM WITHIN THEME SCRIPTURE: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). As a new creation, you don’t need another power or a special charge from outside. All the power you require is already in you. When you received the Holy Spirit, you received limitless, supernatural power to effect changes. This power, according to James 5:16 AMPC, is dynamic in its operation. What God wants is that you frequently release that power from within you. Years ago, while preparing for a major camp meeting, I recall praying to the Lord for a fresh “turbo charge.” But the Lord spoke to my spirit and said, “What you need is the release of what you already have inside you.” Then, I asked, “Lord, how do I release it?” And He said, “It’s an act of your faith.” Immediately, I caught it. That night, as I ministered the Word, I perceived the power of God flowing out of me like a river. Suddenly, a visible cloud, like smoke, rose from the concrete floor. This wasn’t the effect of an artificial smoke machine; the glory of God filled the place. People shouted as the cloud moved over them. The sick were healed everywhere in the arena. Glory to God! Here’s the point: that power didn’t come from heaven into the room. It came from within me. The Lord Jesus said, “He that believeth on me…out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38). He spoke of the Holy Spirit who would be given to those who believe in Him. The same Spirit is in you today. The words that you speak are Spirit-filled words; they’re full of power. They carry life and produce healing, deliverance, and miracles. Don’t wait for something to come from outside. Release the power within you through faith-filled words. Speak life. Speak healing. Speak salvation. Let the rivers of living water within you flow and transform the lives of those around you. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your supernatural power at work in me; your grace and glory flow from within me to bless, heal, strengthen and lift others. I function in your wisdom and ability today, transforming lives everywhere, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, 22ND APRIL 2026 THEME: THE ANOINTING OF THE CHRIST IN YOU THEME SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power… (Acts 10:38). In Christ, we are distinguished by faith, calling, gifts, grace, and office; yet, it is the same anointing of the Holy Spirit that empowers us all. When you received the Holy Spirit, you were anointed with the anointing of the Christ. You don’t need a different anointing or a greater one; the anointing you received is the very same anointing that made Jesus the Christ. It’s the Holy Ghost Himself. Acts 10:38 reveals that the Lord Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost and with power. This expression doesn’t imply two separate anointings. In the language of the prophets and the apostles, two phrases may be used to describe the same reality. To be anointed with the Holy Ghost is to be anointed with power. In Acts 1:8, the Lord Jesus said, “...ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you….” Power comes with the Spirit. When the Holy Ghost came into you, you were endued with divine ability from on high. You were consecrated and separated unto God for His purpose. Through the Spirit, you now understand the mysteries and realities of the Kingdom. You see and understand life beyond human intellect and perspective because you possess the wisdom of the Spirit. You’re empowered to do the work of God and live the supernatural life. The same Spirit teaches you, strengthens you, and equips you to walk in the glory and righteousness of Christ, as you fulfill your calling in Him. So, every day, walk in the consciousness of the divine presence and ability of the Spirit at work in you. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for anointing me with the Holy Spirit and with power. I walk in the consciousness of your presence and ability in me. I’m empowered to fulfil my calling and function in the fullness of your grace, producing results that bring you glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Acts 1:8 AMPC But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, 21ST APRIL 2026 THEME: RIVERS OF LIVING WATER THEME SCRIPTURE: .... In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified (John 7:37-39). You’d have to carefully review the words of the Lord Jesus that we just read so you can understand them clearly. In the 38th verse, He said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said....” If you delete the comma after “me,” it’ll read, “He that believeth on me as the scripture hath said;” now, that’s the correct rendering. The translators inserted the comma in their attempt to explain what they thought the Master said, but when you study the original text, it’s very clear; it’s without the comma. So, when you read it, as presented in the KJV, you might think it's a scripture quotation. But what the Lord Jesus was saying is, if you believe in Him as the Scripture says, rivers of living water will issue forth from within you—from out of your belly. What are “rivers of living water”? They are words empowered by the Holy Spirit, Spirit‑inspired words that give life just as the Lord Jesus said, “...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). Now, recall that the 39th verse of our theme scripture connects the rivers of living water to the Holy Spirit: “But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive....” Thus, the Holy Spirit pours forth from you through faith‑filled words. Your words are life‑giving, ministering the power of the Spirit everywhere and to everyone; they bring refreshing, healing and restoration to your hearers. Blessed be God! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the rivers of living water that flow from within me. My words are spirit and life, bringing refreshing, healing and restoration to my hearers. I function by the law of the Spirit of life; I’m a life giver. I impact my world with your glory, righteousness and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 18:4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. John 6:63 NIV The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 20TH APRIL 2026 THEME: A LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT THEME SCRIPTURE: And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45). In 1 Corinthians 15, there's a long discussion by Paul the Apostle where he draws differences between the natural and the spiritual, the terrestrial and the celestial, the first Adam and the second Adam. He said, “...The first man Adam was made a living soul….” That’s referring to Adam in the Garden of Eden. The Bible says God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and he became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). But the Lord Jesus, the second and last Adam, is a life-giving Spirit, and you’re born after Him. Those who aren’t born again are born after the first Adam, the man of dust. They’re mere living souls, and that’s why they’re ruled by selfishness and driven by earthly desires. But the Lord from heaven, whose icon we are and whose image we bear, is Life and the Life-giver. As He is, so are we (1 John 4:17). His very nature is to give and to dispense life. Therefore, being born after Him, you’re a life-giving spirit. You live by the law of the Spirit of life. You express His love, power and righteousness. The Bible says, “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven” (1 Corinthians 15:47). Then it declares further, “As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly” (1 Corinthians 15:48). This is a present reality; we’re like Him now. We’re heavenly men and women in the earth. It helps you understand why the Lord Jesus said you’re not of this world (John 15:19). You hail from God (1 John 4:4); your origin is divine. Your words, like those of the Master, are spirit and life: “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). You dispense the presence and life of the Holy Spirit in words full of power. You’re not an earthling but a heavenly being. Blessed be God! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of my identity in Christ. I’m born after the last Adam, a life-giving spirit, full of grace and power. I dispense life to my world through words inspired by the Spirit. I’m conscious of my heavenly origin; therefore I manifest your righteousness, glory and love everywhere, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:17 KJV Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 Corinthians 15:47-48 AMPC The first man [was] from out of earth, made of dust (earthly-minded); the second Man [is] the Lord from out of heaven. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 19TH APRIL 2026 THEME: IT’S GOING TO BE BY FAITH THEME SCRIPTURE: Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (1 Corinthians 15:51). Contrary to religious assumptions, the Bible doesn’t say everybody is going to die. Ponder again our opening verse of scripture: The Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, unveils a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In other words, there’s a generation of the Church that’ll see the Rapture without experiencing death, and that’s our generation because we believe and walk in this revelation. Our faith is incontrovertible. That translation that we're going to have, which is called the Rapture of the church, is going to be an expression of our faith. It’s not going to happen with unbelief. God gave us Enoch in the Old Testament as an example. The Bible says, "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death..." (Hebrews 11:5). He was raptured by faith. But before his translation, he had the testimony that he pleased God, and the Bible says without faith it’s impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Enoch walked with God by faith, and one day, "...he was not; for God took him" (Genesis 5:24). In the same way, the Church will be translated from this earth by faith very soon. The Lord is coming for a people who are in faith, ready and expectant, living in the consciousness of His soon return. Expectation is faith in demonstration. Like the man at the gate called Beautiful, who looked at Peter and John, expecting to receive something, our gaze is on the Lord, expecting His appearing. Remember what the Word says, “…unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:28). Hence, if anyone criticises your strong message of faith, remind them of Enoch, a man whose faith was such that he left this world without experiencing death. You belong to that same lineage of faith. You’re being built by the Word for that glorious moment. Therefore, keep your heart set on Him. Live every day with the consciousness that you’re in the generation privileged to bring the message of the Gospel to its fullness and to anticipate and experience the Rapture of the Church. Glory to God! CONFESSION I live in joyful expectation of the coming of the Lord, walking in faith and pleasing Him in all things. My life is ordered by God’s Word; I am steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of God. I walk in righteousness and in the light of God’s Word, looking forward to the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Hebrews 11:5-6 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. [6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Philippians 3:20-21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21] Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 17:20-18:1-14 & 1 Samuel 8-10 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 12:9-21 & Psalm 119:161-176 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 18TH APRIL THEME: THE ESSENCE OF DIVINE LOVE THEME SCRIPTURE: ...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father… (John 14:9) People have used the word “love” for generations without capturing or understanding the true essence of its meaning. Even the Greek word “agape,” which is one of the translations of the word love, was known before Christ came. Yet, human definitions never captured the essence of divine love. The Lord Jesus gave meaning to love. When you saw Him, you saw Love in action. He’s the manifestation of God’s love. The Bible says, “...God is love” (1 John 4:8 ). Love was tabernacled in human flesh in Jesus Christ. When He preached in the temple, as Luke 4:16-21 tells us, it was God’s love in action. He read from the scroll of Isaiah and declared, “This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears,” revealing His mission to bring salvation, healing, and love into the world. Then He acted it. He healed the sick, opened blind eyes, fed the multitude, and raised the dead. That was God’s love in display. Matthew 14:14 says, “And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.” His compassion drove Him to heal the sick, showing that love and mercy were at the very heart of His ministry. Even when He drove out the money changers from the temple (read John 2:13-17), that act wasn’t anger but righteous love. His zeal was rooted in love for His Father’s house. When He rebuked Herod as a fox in Luke 13:32, it was a bold expression of truth and love. He was calling out wickedness with righteous authority. Finally, His lamentation over Jerusalem in Matthew 23:37 shows His deep love and longing for the salvation of His people, “O Jerusalem... how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” These acts and words reveal that the life of the Master was a perfect manifestation of divine love. Love is not defined by human sentiment, emotion, weakness, or permissiveness. Love is the person of Jesus Christ revealed to us. He was fully God and fully man. The more you know Him through the Word and by the Spirit, the clearer your understanding of love. And as you walk in His nature, you become the manifestation of God’s love to your world. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for sending Jesus as the full expression of your unfailing love. His life in me is the life of love. I walk in the light of His Word and express His character; through me, many experience your love, compassion, grace, and transforming power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 17TH APRIL 2026 THEME: BACKED BY HEAVEN’S ECONOMY THEME SCRIPTURE: For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it (Ecclesiastes 7:12). God has given us both wisdom and finances for the fulfilment of His vision. The Gospel is too important and too urgent to be limited by financial constraints. A life-transforming message requires resources for its spread, and God has made the resources available to His children by His Spirit. He has supplied us abundantly with what we need to fulfil His purpose. This is why you must have the right mentality about money. Never be intimidated by figures. Many become anxious, calculating and worrying about where the supply will come from. That’s not the mindset of faith. Children never worry about money; rather, they’re provision-conscious. They live with a consciousness that everything needed is available. The Lord Jesus said we must receive the Kingdom as little children. This includes the way we think about resources. Think abundance; think supply; think possibility. Think like one with an unlimited source. Whenever thoughts of lack attempt to rise in your mind, refuse them vehemently. Simply switch your mind to the truth that you’re backed by Heaven’s economy. Christ gave you access to God’s inexhaustible supply. In Him, all things are yours. His blessing is your advantage. Your job or business is not your source but your platform to express your God-given gift and bless your world, a channel, not the origin of your resources. Those who look to their careers as their source become bound by the world’s economic cycles, job transitions, and human evaluations. But your value and success are not tied to this earthly realm or any earthly system. You function from a higher Kingdom, under a higher economy, the economy of heaven, which operates by faith. The way of faith is to believe and act on what the Lord Jesus has already accomplished. That’s the way to live above the thraldom of economic meltdowns and financial fears, whilst floating in the grace of abundance. Have this mindset. It’s the reality of those in Christ. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for making all grace abound toward me. I refuse to fear or worry about resources. I think abundance because I have access to your inexhaustible supply. I use money for your purpose and live as a distributor of blessings, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 3:8 AMPC To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out], Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC And God is able to make all grace (every favor and [a]earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need [b]be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 16 & 1 Samuel 1-2 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 11:25-36 & Psalm 119:129-144 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 16TH APRIL THEME: HERALDS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS THEME SCRIPTURE: The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it (Psalm 68:11). The Gospel has been entrusted to us to publish in every nation and to every creature according to the words of the Master in Mark 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” In these last days, God’s Word is reaching places and impacting people that were once considered out of reach, transforming lives in every continent. Each testimony affirms that the Word of God is living and active, producing salvation, healing, restoration, and even raising the dead. The Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power remains unchanged. We function today as interpreters and publishers of His divine truth. We didn’t create the message; we deliver it. The apostles and prophets of old received it by the Spirit and by the same Spirit, wrote it down. They played their role in disseminating the message, but today, we’re the ones on the scene, taking the work further by translating and distributing it in every language and in all nations. One day, every labourer in the Gospel, every preacher, interpreter, translator, giver, and distributor will be rewarded by the Lord. Not one effort will go unnoticed. Therefore, refuse to be weary; let your passion for the spread of the Gospel be unquenchable. The world desperately needs the Gospel for their salvation. And beyond that, they must be taught God’s Word so they can know their rights, privileges, heritage, and identity in Christ and live the life that pleases Him. That’s the joy of the Master—that they become His joint-heirs, reigning with Him! This world belongs to Him. His Kingdom is eternal and universal. The earth is only one part of all that belongs to Him, yet He came here to give His life for us. We’re the ones He died for, His peculiar treasure, His heritage, and His workmanship. Therefore, every life transformed makes our mission worth it. Every testimony affirms that the Gospel is divine. And in a world full of trouble, confusion, and fear, we are the solution. We are the answer. Our work in the Gospel is critical. We’re the hope of the nations. We’re heralds of a message that works. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of publishing your divine truths and bringing salvation to the ends of the earth. I am empowered by your Spirit to take the Gospel everywhere, transforming lives and nations. Through me, the knowledge of Christ spreads rapidly and prevails, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Mark 16:15 NKJV And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, 15TH APRIL THEME: ALWAYS FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT THEME SCRIPTURE: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). It’s God’s desire that you live continually filled with the Spirit, and the Bible tell us how in the ensuing verses 19 to 21 of our opening scripture: “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” How profound that He’d list for us what we’re to do in getting ourselves perpetually filled with the Spirit! It’s up to you to put this to practise every day in your personal life. It’ll keep you above agitation, fear and worry. Those who aren’t often filled with the Spirit are easily troubled and uneasy, looking for someone to blame or somewhere to vent their frustrations. But when you live full of the Spirit, you remain joyful, peaceful and at rest. You don’t struggle; your faith prevails. You function from a place of divine supply, strength and wisdom. Every day, stay continually stirred, stimulated and spiritually minded. It’s your responsibility to remain in that atmosphere. There, everything is permanent, unshaken, and eternal. From that realm, you govern circumstances and rule over life’s situations. You’re constantly aglow and afire by the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of being continually filled with the Spirit. I maintain the glow of the Spirit in my life as I walk in the consciousness of your righteousness, glory, beauty, excellence and eternal life within me. I live from the realm of the Spirit and dominate my world with your power and glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, 14TH APRIL 2026 THEME: THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR IDENTITY THEME SCRIPTURE: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9). The Word declares that we are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased special people. You’re special. You’re born of God; therefore, you’re taxonomically different from the unregenerate man. You have the organic and existential attributes of deity. You’re of a divine origin. This is your identity in Christ. God created you to set forth His wonderful deeds and display His virtues and perfections, His glory and His excellence in the earth. He called you out of darkness into His marvellous light, to reveal Him to your world. What’s more? You’re His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21); you’re the proof of His equity. Blessed be God! It’s important for you to know these and other truths about your identity in Christ so you can walk accordingly. You need to know who you truly are, and the best way for you to know is to study God’s Word. The Word, particularly the Epistles, are the album of the new creation in Christ. Through the Word you see and know yourself, you know the substance and character of your human spirit. In Christ, we’re of a different spirit. We’re gracious, loving, affectionate and kind. We’re royalty. Consider again what we read in our opening scripture; it unveils who you are, what you have, and what you can do in Christ. When the revelation of your identity dawns on your spirit, it becomes your consciousness. You’ll speak boldly and act confidently in line with the Word, resulting in testimonies, victories, unending joy, and peace with prosperity. The knowledge of your identity and heritage in Christ puts springs in your steps. It causes you to walk in His righteousness and dominion always. Hallelujah! CONFESSION I'm God’s peculiar treasure; holy, righteous, sanctified and justified. I walk in the consciousness of my royal identity and I manifest the virtues and perfections of Christ to my world. God’s Word is my life; therefore, excellence, triumph and unending joy are the hallmarks of my life. I walk in the full blessings of the Gospel of Christ. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 13TH APRIL THEME: THE ULTIMATE BLESSING OF THE NEW TESTAMENT THEME SCRIPTURE: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law…That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13-14). The latter part of what we just read helps us to understand that the ultimate blessing of Abraham wasn’t diamonds, gold, land, or cattle; it was the Spirit. Through Jesus Christ, the promise of the Spirit has now come to us who believe. He lives in us, works through us, walks in us, and empowers us daily. This is the greatest treasure of the New Testament; the Holy Spirit in you! He’s the seal of our inheritance, the proof that we belong to God. He’s not a shadow or a force; He’s a divine Person who walks with you and lives in you. His presence is what makes the Christian life supernatural, victorious and exciting. You need to be more aware of His power that’s at work within you. Ephesians 1:19-20 talks about the exceeding greatness of His mighty power at work in you: “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead….” Hallelujah! There’s no need to pray for power, strength, or wisdom because the Holy Spirit, who is Himself wisdom, strength, and the source of all power and divine guidance, is already resident in you. You’re never without help. The same Spirit that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead lives in you. This is the fulfilment of God’s eternal plan. The prophets longed to see it. The patriarchs anticipated it. But you’re living it: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:26-27). Christianity without the Holy Spirit is religion. But with Him, it’s a divine adventure. He makes the Word come alive, fills your prayer with power, and transforms you from glory to glory. Acknowledge Him. Yield to Him, and fellowship with Him always. He’s the ultimate blessing of the New Testament. PRAYER Righteous Father, thank you for the blessing of the Holy Spirit who lives in me, strengthens me, leads me, and guides me to walk in supernatural wisdom, power and dominion. And by His mighty power at work in me, I’m effective in soul winning and my faith prevails always. Your love, grace and blessings are manifested in and revealed through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 1:13-14 NKJV In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[a] is the [b]guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. John 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 13:22-35 & Judges 14-16 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 10:1-10 & Psalm 119:41-64 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 12TH APRIL 2026 THEME: A SWORN DECLARATION OF BLESSING THEME SCRIPTURE: For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee (Hebrews 6:13-14). God’s covenant with Abraham was more than a promise—it was a sworn declaration of blessing. The Bible says that because God could not swear by anyone greater, He swore by Himself. That means the blessing was backed by God's very nature and integrity. It wasn’t just a good intention; it was a covenant of certainty. This blessing wasn’t for Abraham alone. Galatians 3:29 declares, “...If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” You’re the inheritor of the Abrahamic blessings. You’re the reason God made that promise to Abraham—to reach you through Christ. This blessing is active in your life today, and it means increase, favour, fruitfulness, and spiritual authority. God’s blessing on you is irreversible and unstoppable. That’s why no curse, opposition, or circumstance can prevail against you. You’ve been empowered to succeed and multiply. This is something much bigger than yourself. It’s not just about your needs being met; it’s about being a channel of divine flow. He said toAbraham, “...I will bless you...And you shall be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2 NKJV). You’re blessed to be a blessing. You’ve been blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). Don’t live like someone trying to be blessed. Live as one already blessed, walking in divine partnership with God and dispensing blessings. Speak blessings. Declare your increase. Expect favour and dispense favour. Multiply your resources and use them to advance the Kingdom. It’s your heritage in Christ. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for making me the seed of Abraham and an heir of the blessing. I’m fruitful, favoured and empowered to prosper. I walk in excellence and supernatural abundance; I’m a blessing to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: [3] And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Galatians 3:8-9 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. [9] So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 11TH APRIL THEME: NO SUCH THING AS LACK THEME SCRIPTURE: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We observed in our previous study that being born again, you’ve been brought into a place of unending, boundless, and exhaustless riches. Christ is your source. He’s brought you into a “large place” (Psalm 18:19), a place of wealth untold. That’s the reality. Therefore, lack should have no place in your life as a child of God. There’s no such thing as shortage for the one who lives by the mentality of the Spirit. Think beyond this world about everything concerning your life. Keep your mindset aligned with your divine nature. You’re a child of God; therefore, your thoughts, speech, and expectations must reflect that reality. It must reflect in the excellence of your health, the excellence of your finances and everything else about your life. Don’t allow others to measure you by their limitations. The one who thinks lack assumes everyone else is in lack. The one who feels pain assumes everyone must feel the same pain. But you’re different. Therefore, think differently, speak differently and live differently. You’re from above; you live in Christ, and in Christ there’s no lack. Refuse to reason from the realm of need; you came from the realm of abundance. You function from heaven’s supply. The Lord Jesus didn’t die for nothing. He brought us into sonship. He made us heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. That means all things are yours now. See and speak from this divine position of advantage and abundant grace. There’s money for you everywhere. There are resources laid up for you to execute the assignments God has committed to you. The doors are open; the supply is endless. Act like the Word is true, because, indeed, it is! It says, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10 NIV). Hallelujah! CONFESSION I walk in Christ’s boundless and inexhaustible supply, in His unsearchable riches. I refuse lack or limitation. All things are mine. I live in supernatural supply every day! I operate in divine abundance and walk in the full manifestation of my inheritance in Christ. I am a dispenser of blessings and a giver of good things, fulfilling God’s purpose with excellence. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 10TH APRIL 2026 THEME: RICH IN CHRIST THEME SCRIPTURE: For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). The Word of God is clear: poverty is not from God; therefore, you should never accept the message of poverty. Poverty is inconsistent with our divine nature and heritage in Christ. The Bible shows clearly that the Lord Jesus became poor, in contrast to His true wealth, for one purpose: that you might become rich. That’s what we read in our opening scripture. It wasn’t referring to spiritual riches; the Lord Jesus was never poor spiritually. The context is financial and material blessings. He laid aside all that belonged to Him so that through His substitutionary work, you would come into prosperity and financial abundance. Some may say that God isn’t interested in making His children rich, but the Word already declares His will. In Christ, you’re an heir of God. All things are yours. Some may choose not to enjoy them, but they should never claim that poverty is God’s plan. The blessing of God brings prosperity, supply, and supernatural advantage. Let’s for a moment review and ponder the magnitude of what belongs to us, our riches in Christ, as stated in Ephesians 3:8. Paul, by the Spirit, writes, “To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out]” (AMPC). Our riches are unsearchable, beyond quantification, exhaustless, boundless, and incalculable. This is the kind of wealth you’ve been called to enjoy. It’s Kingdom wealth—superior to earthly economics—and it’s yours now in Christ Jesus. Therefore, refuse to think lack. Refuse to talk scarcity. Live with the consciousness of your divine inheritance. Every so often, say to yourself, “I have unsearchable riches in Christ. All things are mine. I walk in abundance, and I give lavishly into the Gospel for the advancement of the Kingdom.” Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the unsearchable riches of Christ that belong to me. I walk in divine supply, abundance, and I’m empowered to give, to bless, and to cause the Gospel to spread everywhere. I reject lack and embrace the fullness of your provision, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 9TH APRIL 2026 THEME: FULLNESS OF THE BLESSINGS OF CHRIST THEME SCRIPTURE: And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ (Romans 15:29). Every Christian is called to walk in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. The Apostle Paul knew it was possible, and by the Spirit, he declared accordingly. It’s not a special privilege exclusive to the apostles. Rather, it’s what is possible for every one of us in Christ; we’re called to live in the fullness of the blessings of Christ. Make up your mind that this is going to be your experience. Acknowledge and declare every day that you walk in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. This is the life of the new creation; it’s a life of advantage, abundant supply, and exceeding grace. Remember the line in the prayer that the Lord Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). This means our heavenly Father has a daily budget for each one of us, a divine provision set aside just for you every single day! So, enjoy what’s yours; walk in the fullness of your daily provisions. God already made the supply. Even the ones you didn’t “collect” over the years have accumulated for you as arrears; call them forth! Make the firm decision to enjoy your life in Christ and to live a great life. He called you into a life of blessing according to 1 Peter 3:9, “…ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.” Therefore, live in blessings. It’s part of the reasons we give, serve, and reach others with the love of Christ. It’s the reason we distribute God’s Word in every known language, to improve and save lives, and bring them into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, so they too can know about and walk in the fullness of the blessings of Christ. Praise God! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. I walk in surplus and unending divine advantages. I’m a dispenser of blessings, improving lives, and fulfilling your perfect will by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, 8TH APRIL THEME: CULTIVATING THE RIGHT MINDSET THEME SCRIPTURE: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2). Oftentimes, the challenges that people face are a result of their mindset. What’s a mindset? A mindset is a fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person's responses and interpretations regarding any given situation. It’s an established way of thinking that governs how one behaves. Being born again, you have the wisdom of the righteous, but you have to nurture it through the Word. As you continuously study and meditate on the Word, your mind is cultured to reason the Christ-way. You’re programmed aright for life, victory and fruitfulness. However, your environment also plays a critical role. A wrong environment, saturated with negativity and worldly influences, will eventually shape your mindset. When you remain in an atmosphere where sickness, poverty, weakness, or defeat dominate conversations, those ideas may begin to influence your thinking. That’s because humans are constantly being programmed by the things they hear, see, and those amongst whom they live. The way you are today is a result of the programming you received over the past years of your life. Your environment and the kind of information that you accepted contributed to your present mentality. This is why choosing the right spiritual environment is essential, an environment where your mind is continually influenced and renewed by God’s Word. Romans 12:1-2 shows us the process: present your body to God as a living sacrifice, and then transform your mind. Let the Word of God replace your old way of thinking; exchange your thoughts for God’s thoughts. Suddenly, you’ll discover that certain thoughts and expressions no longer align with who you are; you’ve accepted God’s way of thinking and allowed His Word to frame your mindset, resulting in a metamorphosis—a complete change of your state and estate. This transformation enables you to prove and live out God’s perfect will, because your thoughts align with His. CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for granting me the mindset of the righteous through your Word. My thoughts align with your truth. I refuse worldly conformity; my mind is continually renewed to think excellence, victory and possibilities, and to prove and live out your perfect will, because my thoughts align with yours. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Romans 12:1-2 NKJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, 7TH APRIL 2026 THEME: DISCERN AND ESCHEW THE WRONG THOUGHTS THEME SCRIPTURE: For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry… (1 Samuel 15:23). The word witchcraft used in 1 Samuel 15:23 specifically refers to divination, a form of spiritual manipulation that God forbids. However, this is not the only kind of witchcraft mentioned in the Bible. In 2 Chronicles 33, we are introduced to King Manasseh, a ruler who led Judah into terrible idolatry and demonic practices. 2 Chronicles 33:1-6 says, “Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen…And he caused his children to pass through the fire… also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft….” In the passage above, another Hebrew word is used for “witchcraft,” which primarily refers to whispering spells, practices that involve the use of words and thoughts to manipulate spiritual forces. Nonetheless, witchcraft, in its various forms, is often about the work of demons. But one key aspect is whispering spells, which involve sending spirits through words and thoughts. These spells are communicated via spoken words with spiritual intent, designed to summon or dispatch demons. What’s particularly remarkable is that these demonic whispers often arrive as thoughts. They reach people as internal prompts, seemingly harmless at first. But remember, words are thoughts clothed in vocabulary. So, be quick to reject the wrong thoughts. Not every thought is from God, and not every thought you have originated from your own mind. Thoughts can come from multiple sources: from God, from your own mind, and from demons. That’s why it’s crucial to inundate your heart and mind with the Word of God. Only through the discerning power of the Holy Spirit, combined with knowledge of the Word, can you distinguish between divine thoughts and demonic whispers. The Bible instructs us to test every spirit (1 John 4:1). You must be vigilant to examine the source of every thought and impression. It’s part of the reason you must give yourself wholly to the Word (1 Timothy 4:15); let it dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). With a deep knowledge of God's Word and the leading of His Spirit, you’ll discern and reject the wrong thoughts and influences and embrace only the right ones. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your Word and the gift of the Spirit. My heart is guarded with truth and wisdom to reject every thought that’s contrary to your Word, your will, and your destiny for my life. I walk in spiritual discernment and in the clarity and light of your Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 6TH APRIL 2026 THEME: THE WONDER OF WONDERS THEME SCRIPTURE: What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? (John 6:62). Did you know that the biological siblings of the Lord Jesus didn’t believe in Him throughout His earthly ministry, even after His resurrection? But when He ascended before their very eyes, everything changed. The ascension was an undeniable confirmation of His divine origin and identity. It was the wonder of wonders. He had told the Jews that His ascension would be the proof of who He truly was when they questioned His claim to be the Son of God. He said to them, “What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?” (John 6:62). He pointed them to the ascension as an unmistakable evidence of His deity. After the resurrection, some disciples still doubted. But on the day of His ascension, and they watched as He suddenly levitated and was taken up into heaven in full view, they had no more argument. Every mouth was stopped. What a moment! The One who was crucified and buried, the very One they thought was dead, ascended bodily into heaven! This was when His siblings believed that He was the Christ. They didn’t return home. They followed the disciples to the upper room and received the Holy Spirit, including Mary, their biological mother (read Acts 1:9-14). Suddenly, they realised the One who ate with them, and lived under the same roof with them, was God Himself. His ascension seals His deity and assures us of His return. This was the wonder of wonders and remains a vital part of the Gospel and the Faith that we hold so dear. PRAYER How glorious you are, O Lord! My faith in you is eternal, for you’re the only true God, proven by your resurrection from the dead and glorious ascension into heaven, where you live forevermore. I proclaim your majesty and live with the consciousness that you reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Acts 1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. [10] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; [11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 11:1-13 & Judges 1-2 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 8:1-11 & Psalm 109 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 5TH APRIL 2026 THEME: HE IS LORD JESUS THEME SCRIPTURE: And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last (Revelation 1:17). To walk with the Lord Jesus and truly serve Him, you must know who He really is. You can’t honour Him if you don’t know Him. You can’t love Him if you don’t know Him. Oftentimes, the way some call His Name reveals whether or not they truly recognise His divine identity and supreme lordship. For example, after His resurrection and ascension, no one who addressed Him called Him Jesus; they called Him Lord Jesus. He’s Lord Jesus! That’s what those who truly encountered Him called Him. Consider Saul of Tarsus; he was knocked down by divine power on the road to Damascus and said, “Who are you, Lord?” The moment he heard the answer, “I am Jesus”, his reverence changed because he had a real encounter. Read it as Luke puts it: "And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks" (Acts 9:4-5). Many say they have seen Him, yet continue to address Him without reverence. A true encounter with the glorified Christ transforms how you speak to Him or about Him. You recognise His majesty. You honour His lordship. John the Apostle saw Him in glory on the Isle of Patmos, and his response was recorded in Revelation 1:17: “...When I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead....” He fell under the power, because of the manifestation of divine glory. Then the Master laid His hand upon him and spoke a blessing: “Fear not; I am the first and the last.” This is the glorified Christ. Your worship, your words, and your life should reflect the greatest honour, the deepest awe, and the utmost reverence for Him. He is “…the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works” (Titus 2:13-14). He’s Lord of all, and Lord of heaven and earth (Acts 10:36, Acts 17:24). PRAYER Blessed Lord Jesus, I thank you for unveiling your lordship and glory to my spirit. My worship, my words, and my life reflect the greatest honour, the deepest awe, and the utmost reverence for your majesty, unparalleled greatness, dominion, great glory, and everlasting reign. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Revelation 1:17-18 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 10:25-42 & Joshua 23-24 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 7:12-25 & Psalm 108 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 4TH APRIL THEME: THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE THEME SCRIPTURE: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life (1 John 5:20) Many imagine that if they saw the Lord Jesus in person, they’d instantly recognise Him as the Son of God and love Him immediately. But that’s for those of us in whom the love of God already abounds by the Holy Ghost through the New Birth. When you study the Bible, you’d discover that many of those who saw Him physically when He walked the earth didn’t believe in Him. John 1:11 says, “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” Even with His miracles and teachings, He was rejected by the religious leaders of His day. Isaiah prophesied of Him, saying, “…when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him” (Isaiah 53:2). He didn’t walk with an aura or physical glow that distinguished Him from others. Yet, He was a hundred per cent God. When He was arrested, Judas had to identify Him among the disciples with a kiss. They couldn’t tell Him apart by appearance. This is why the Pharisees and scribes argued with Him when He declared Himself the Son of God. They questioned His origin, saying they didn’t know where He was from. They dismissed Him and called Him a sinner, refusing to accept His divine identity. Even the man born blind, who testified to being healed by Jesus, was reviled and ridiculed for believing in Him (John 9:24-28). More surprisingly, His own siblings didn’t believe in Him either (John 7:5) until His ascension to heaven. They didn’t recognize the glory in the One they grew up with. At His crucifixion, while His mother was present, His brothers and sisters were nowhere to be found. They didn’t stand by Him. They didn’t defend Him. Yet, the Lord Jesus was everything He declared Himself to be. He was eternal life in a human body. He was God’s love tabernacled in flesh, the very expression of the Father. Their unbelief didn’t change who He was. And today, the world’s opinions don’t define Him. He is the great God of glory, the Christ, the Lord God almighty, God of heaven and earth. He is the true God and eternal life: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3). PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for unveiling the person of the Lord Jesus to my heart—who He is—the great God, and eternal life. I behold Him in the Word and by the Spirit, acknowledging His Lordship, His deity, and His love. His life and nature are in me. I proclaim Him boldly to my world, and many believe through my witness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: John 1:10-12 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. [11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 3RD APRIL 2026 THEME: DOMINION OVER FEAR OF DEATH THEME SCRIPTURE: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14-15). The scripture above is as clear as it is emphatic: the Lord Jesus has completely destroyed the one who had the power of death, the devil, and delivered humanity from the fear of death. He didn’t come to give us a partial victory. His work wasn’t unfinished or incomplete. He fully defeated Satan who had the power of death. 2 Timothy 1:10 says, He "…abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." He replaced death with life and deathlessness. Hallelujah! This is the message of faith. This is the Word of the Gospel: death has been abolished. Consider the early apostles; they didn’t die because they grew old or weak. The Scriptures reveal that their departure from this world was consistent with their specific calling and choice to seal the message of the Gospel with their blood. They laid down their lives; death had no power over them. The Christian life is the transcendent life, not a slow succumbing to death, corruption or decay. You were not designed to “wear out.” The life of God in you is incorruptible; it’s divine; it’s ageless. It doesn’t diminish or deteriorate. You’re in the death-free and fear-free zone. Live in Christ’s victory every day: fearless, strong and full of life. Praise God! CONFESSION I’m fearless and bold, living in the consciousness that the Lord Jesus has abolished death and brought me into life and immortality. I walk in strength, health and glory. I live in Christ’s victory: fearless, strong and full of life. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 2:14-15 NIV Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. 2 Timothy 1:10 NIV but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 2ND APRIL THEME: THE LAW OF LIFE THEME SCRIPTURE: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). Many have struggled with the underlined expression in our opening scripture as though "the law of sin and death" is one combined law. But in the context of Romans 7 and 8, death itself is not a law. There’s the law of sin, and there’s death as a consequence. The actual rendering is: “the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin, and from death.” In chapter 7, Paul emphasises the law of sin that was at work in him before Christ, and he also speaks of death separately. When he comes into chapter 8, verse 2, he shows that the superior law—the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus—has liberated you from both the law of sin and from death. You no longer live under the principles of this world that govern those who are outside Christ, who are subject to death, decadence and corruption. You live by the law of life. This is why you must refuse to harbour the fear of death. The life of God in you is not subject to death. You have passed from death unto life (John 5:24). Refuse the language, thoughts and expectations of those who are still under the fear of death. Declare boldly that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is working in every fibre of your being, in every cell of your blood, in every bone of your body. Glory to God! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for bringing me under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This law is at work in me, energising my body, renewing my mind, and propelling me in the path of righteousness and glory. I am free from the law of sin and from death; I walk in life, health, victory and dominion every day. I refuse fear, and I live boldly in the reality of your finished work in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:10-11 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 9:18-36 & Joshua 13-15 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 6:1-11 & Psalm 105 |
