THEME: YOUR VOCATION—A PLATFORM TO REACH OTHERS

THEME SCRIPTURE: And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ_ (Acts 18:5)

In Acts chapter 18, Luke, by the Spirit, gives us insight into the soul-winning strategy of the Apostle Paul. He arrived in Corinth and met Aquila and Priscilla, Jews who had just relocated from Italy. The Bible says they were tentmakers, and because Paul was of the same trade, he joined them and worked alongside them.

This wasn't a mere coincidence; it was a divine strategy. Paul used his trade as a connection point—he found common ground with them. During the week, he worked. But every Sabbath, he went into the synagogue to reason with the Jews and the Greeks, persuading them concerning Christ. His tent-making served as a bridge into the lives of others, and from there, he introduced them to the Gospel.

Then something significant happened. When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul was stirred, pressed in the spirit, and immediately began testifying boldly that Jesus was the Christ. The atmosphere had changed. The presence of fellow labourers brought fresh fire and inspiration. The time for reasoning was over.

This shows us the power of spiritual companionship. When you're around others who are fervent in soul winning, it propels you to greater boldness. In the company of soul winners, the Spirit moves you. You receive strength and courage to proclaim the Gospel without fear.

Even Aquila and Priscilla, who initially received Paul as a tentmaker, were so impacted that later, they ministered to Apollos and helped him receive the Holy Ghost. What started as a business relationship became a platform for transformation and ministry.

Recognise that God strategically places you in certain environments for the sake of the Gospel. Be spiritually conscious of this truth and seize every opportunity to testify that Jesus is Lord. Let the excellence of your spirit shine through. You're not just a lawyer, banker, politician, medical doctor, marketer, or athlete; you're a soul winner, sent from God! Your vocation is a platform for you to impact and transform the lives of those in your same line of work.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for strategically positioning me in my world to impact others with the Gospel. I’m led by the Spirit to recognise and seize opportunities to transform lives, reshape destinies, and reveal your righteousness. The boldness of the Spirit is at work in me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Acts 18:1-6 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; 2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Romesmiley and came unto them. 3 And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers. 4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. 5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. 6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

THEME: TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SOUL-WINNING OPPORTUNITIES

THEME SCRIPTURE: Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot (Acts 8:29).

Always, the Holy Spirit, who is the Master Strategist, guides us in our soul-winning efforts. He leads you from within and makes your witnessing effective, guiding you on the right words to say and actions to take. He opens the door and expects you to recognise and seize the moment.

Consider, for example, how He guided Philip in Acts 8 to minister to the Ethiopian eunuch. Philip had already received direction from an angel to go to a certain location, but when he arrived there, the Holy Spirit spoke to him and gave him clear instructions on what to do: "Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot" (Acts 8:29).

Notice how precise the Spirit’s instruction was: “Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.” With that, Philip understood what was required because he was evangelism-conscious. He didn’t ask, “What next?” or hesitate; rather, upon getting to the chariot, he immediately began expounding the Scriptures to the Ethiopian Eunuch (Read Acts 8:30-39). That’s how soul winners operate.

When you're attuned to the Spirit, He doesn’t have to give you a full script. You recognise the moment, and you know what to say. The Holy Spirit simply opens the door and you walk in, equipped and ready. That’s how Philip led the Ethiopian eunuch to Christ. You must be that kind of Christian: one who takes full advantage of soul-winning opportunities.

Many times, I’ve had such moments. Even before the conversation begins, I’m already speaking in tongues under my breath, preparing “the soil.” I don’t waste time. I go straight to the point: “Have you received the Holy Spirit?” or “Are you born again?”

I don’t want to leave the conversation without talking about Jesus. What if that’s the only chance I’ll ever get? What if it’s their only opportunity to hear the Gospel? So, when the Holy Spirit nudges you, seize the moment. Speak boldly. Recognise the open door and walk through it.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and guides me in all things. I’m sensitive to His leading and alert to the opportunities He presents. I walk through every open door with boldness and wisdom, fulfilling your call to win souls, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: BE SPIRITUALLY ALERT ALWAYS

THEME SCRIPTURE: While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee (Acts 10:19).

As a Christian, you must always be spiritually alert. Otherwise, you may not recognise divine promptings, and you may struggle to discern the voice of the Spirit. A vital part of soul winning is being led by the Holy Spirit, and for that, your spirit must be sensitive.

In Acts 10, we see a beautiful example with Peter. He had gone upstairs to pray, and while praying, he fell into a trance and saw a vision from heaven: a great sheet lowered with all kinds of unclean animals. Then, a voice said to him, "...Peter, kill and eat" (Acts 10:13 AMPC). This happened three times.

Clearly, the Lord was trying to get Peter’s attention for the salvation of Cornelius, a Roman Centurion, who at the time had already sent three of his servants to fetch Peter. Then the Bible says in verses 17-20, “Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius…stood before the gate, and called….While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them."

The Holy Spirit gave clear direction and instructions to Peter such that he didn't need to second-guess. But notice that Peter was in prayer while this happened. As a result, Cornelius, a Roman centurion, and his entire household received salvation and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. What if Peter hadn't responded? What if he had hesitated?

When your spirit is sensitive and active through prayer, meditation on the Word, and walking in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, it’s easier to recognise and respond to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I thank you for the inspiration through your Word and the Spirit. I’m spiritually alert and responsive to your guidance. I function beyond the senses. I recognise your voice and follow your instructions without doubt or delay. I’m a soul winner, led by your Spirit always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: SOUL DEVELOPMENT

THEME SCRIPTURE: And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever (Daniel 12:3).

I ecall someone asking me many years ago, “What job do you do?” Very quickly, I answered, "I'm into soul development." He was startled and didn't know what that meant. But that term, "soul development", is exactly what we do. As a Christian, especially a soul winner, don't ever let anyone talk you down or suggest you're without a job.

You're doing the greatest, most important work in the world: turning men from darkness to light and training them in righteousness. That's the true meaning of soul development. The Bible says, "They that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever" (Daniel 12:3). Why? Because those you win become trees of righteousness, which the Bible calls “...the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified" (Isaiah 61:3).

There are all kinds of trees, but when you win souls to Christ, you raise trees of righteousness. This is why our work is so glorious. It's divine! There's no higher calling. God's number one job is soul winning. That's why He sent the Lord Jesus. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son..." (John 3:16). He gave His best to win the whole world.

Always think and strategize with the Spirit on what more you can do with regard to soul winning. Your daily passion and pursuit should be about how else you can reach more souls. Everything you do, your excellence, ideas and innovations should revolve around this one thing: soul development. This is your calling, your purpose, and your ministry. Praise God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the extraordinary blessing of making me a soul winner. I carry myself with dignity and excellence, representing Christ in every place. Your wisdom flows through me, and your glory radiates from my life as I minister the Gospel and lead sinners out of darkness into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: LIVE VICTORIOUSLY FROM INSIDE OUT

THEME SCRIPTURE: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16).

In 2 Corinthians 4:16, the Apostle Paul draws a sharp contrast between the outward man and the inward man. He says, "...though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day." He was referring to the physical challenges and persecutions he and his companions faced in ministry: the bruises, beatings and hardship. Yet, in all of it, he affirmed the continual strengthening of the inward man.

He went on to describe these trials as "light affliction" (verse 17). It wasn't that the afflictions were naturally light, but compared to the glory that was to be revealed, they were insignificant. He said, "...our light affliction... worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." This is a spiritual perspective, one only possible when you view life through the eyes of the Spirit.

Paul shows us the principle behind such confidence: "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen..." (verse 18). That's profound. You can only look at unseen things through the eyes of your spirit. And Paul tells us why this matters: "... the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (verse 18). Spiritual things are real and permanent; they're the things that matter.

Peter echoes this truth in 1 Peter 3:4, where he speaks of "the hidden man of the heart," another name for the inward man. He describes this man as possessing "the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." Though hidden, God wants this inward man to shine outwardly, to dominate your visible life.

Let the recreated human spirit gain the ascendancy. Let the beauty, discipline and strength of the inward man become the ornament of your life. That's how to live victoriously from the inside out.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the strengthening and renewal of my inward man. I fix my gaze on eternal realities and live daily from the spirit. The qualities of my recreated spirit dominate my outward life, bringing glory to your Name, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 AMPC Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day. 17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], 18 Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

1 Peter 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

THEME: THE BEAUTY OF SERVING WITH THE SPIRIT

THEME SCRIPTURE: For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers (Romans 1:9).

One of the most striking thoughts from Romans chapter 1 is the Apostle Paul's revelation on serving through the Spirit as read in our opening scripture. It emphasises the consciousness of the spiritual in our Christian service.

Paul didn't say he served God with his mind or body, but with his spirit. This is so important because Christianity is a spiritual walk, a spiritual ministry, and our service must be offered through the Spirit to be acceptable to God. Paul wasn't speaking metaphorically; rather, he was showing us how to carry out our divine assignments.

Serving God with your spirit is about serving from the inward man, engaging spiritual truths, and ministering from a place of depth in the Holy Spirit. This is not head knowledge or mechanical duty; it's priestly service from the inner man. Then, in the latter part of the opening scripture, he says, "...without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers" (Romans 1:9). This was also from his spirit. He was making intercession with the intensity of one who is fully conscious of spiritual realities.

He didn’t stop there; in verse 12, he adds, "…that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me." Recall that he had expressed his desire to see the saints in Rome in verse 11, saying, “For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established.” The impartation wasn't one-sided; it required their mutual faith.

He was coming to strengthen them, but they were also going to be a source of encouragement to him by their own faith and response. This is the beauty of fellowship with the Spirit, when we serve God with our spirits, we give and receive of His grace and knowledge. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of serving you with my spirit in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I’m conscious of the operations of the Spirit in my life, His wisdom, guidance and grace, to impart others with the blessings of the Gospel. I walk in the power of your Spirit today, producing fruits and works of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE SPIRITUAL

THEME SCRIPTURE: For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6).

In our soul-winning efforts, a vital requirement is the strengthening and development of your human spirit, the inward man. That’s the real “you” that was born again. When we speak of salvation in Christ, we’re referring to the salvation of the spirit. And for that salvation to express itself, you must become conscious of spiritual things.

Spiritual consciousness is essential for spiritual growth. When you're spiritually minded, you interpret life from the perspective of the Word. You understand that you’re not of this world. You're a spirit being, called by God to function from the spirit-realm. Everything about the Christian life starts from this awareness.

Take soul-winning, for example; the expression itself, "soul winning", is spiritually precise. It doesn’t say “people winning”; you’re reaching for the inner man of that person—the soul, the spirit. That means you must be conscious that those you're ministering to are spirit beings too. This consciousness shapes how you see others and how you handle life’s issues; you evaluate everything from the spiritual.

This was what made the ministry of the Lord Jesus so different from the religious leaders of His day. He brought a spiritual ministry. And thanks be unto God; we’re born of the Spirit and called to live in the Spirit. As a soul winner, this is your arena. No book in the world reveals the realities and life of the human spirit like the Bible. So study the Scriptures voraciously; the Word is your guide to living victoriously every day in every situation.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for enlightening my spirit through your Word. I function from the inward man and interpret life through the Spirit. I walk in the consciousness of who I am in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 8:5-6 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

1 Peter 3:3-4 NKJV Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14-15 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

THEME: THE GRACE ADVANTAGE

THEME SCRIPTURE: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2).

No matter how intelligent you are or how hard you work, there’s a dimension to real success and achievement that transcends natural abilities and efforts. It's called grace. Grace arranges and orchestrates life's circumstances in your favour.

Grace coordinates how things unfold for you, who comes in and out of your world, when they arrive, and for what purpose. It determines how things connect and align; the people, resources, opportunities etc. When you understand this, you become truly humble, realizing that the race isn’t to the swift, nor is the battle to the strong. Wealth is not to one who’s brilliant, neither is favour to the learned, but time and chance happen to them all (Ecclesiastes 9:11 NIV).

The apostles understood this. That's why Paul, John, and Peter often talked about grace. Read their respective epistles; they often began by saying, "Grace be to you…" (2 Corinthians 1:2). 2 John 1:3, "Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father...." Also, "... Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied" (1 Peter 1:2). They knew what grace could accomplish.

Be conscious of the grace of God. Learn to function by grace and multiply the grace of God in your life. How does grace multiply? Peter tells us that it’s through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2). You can multiply and increase the dimensions and workings of God’s grace in your life by meditating on the Word and putting it to work in your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the abundance of grace that's available to me in Christ Jesus. I walk in increased grace, favour and peace, as I grow in the knowledge of your Word. Your grace is actively working in my life, producing supernatural results and aligning all things in my favour. I walk in excellence, fruitfulness and divine success, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

THEME: LIFTING YOUR HANDS TO THE LORD

THEME SCRIPTURE: Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice (Psalm 141:2).

When people are asked to lift their hands in worship during a church service, some respond mechanically or not at all, often because they haven’t been trained in spiritual things. If they truly understood the spiritual significance of lifting their hands to the Lord, it wouldn’t be a struggle.

Years ago, in some meetings, I made an important observation: many of those who were healed had been unable to lift their hands due to pain. This caught my attention, and I asked the Spirit of God why so many people had this problem. He said, “I told them to worship with hands lifted; I instructed that all men pray everywhere lifting up holy hands, but they wouldn't.” Years later, they found themselves unable to lift their hands without effort or pain.

The lesson there was this: had they been worshipping with their hands lifted regularly, as God had instructed, such limitations wouldn’t have developed. But thank God for His grace that brought them healing. Never think that lifting your hands is unnecessary or even embarrassing while you’re praying or worshipping the Lord. It’s an act of faith, spiritual responsiveness, and yieldedness to the Spirit.

Even if lifting your hands was a painful effort before you became a Christian, keep practicing lifting them to the Lord in worship. By so doing, you’re acting on the Word. Before long, those same hands will rise higher and higher, effortlessly and without pain. Hebrews 12:12-13 says, “...lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.”

Many of God’s children suffer physically, not because something is inherently wrong but because they neglect to do what the Word says, and Satan capitalizes on that. So, learn to act on the Word. Let your spirit train your body in worship. Keep lifting your hands in praise and you’ll experience such glory in your life that you never imagined.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege and blessing of worshipping you with my hands lifted in reverence and in love. There’s none like you. You’re great and mighty, the King of all and God of all flesh who alone has immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. THEME: HEIRS OF THE PROMISE

THEME SCRIPTURE: And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29).

In Christ, you’re born God’s heir. All of His wealth and resources belong to you: “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ...” (Romans 8:17). The Bible says the silver, gold, precious stones and the whole world belong to Him: "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts" (Haggai 2:8 ).

In Psalm 50:10-12, He said, "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine…for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.” Therefore, as an heir of God, and joint heir with Christ, the silver, the gold, the cattle upon a thousand hills, the world and the fullness thereof, belong to you as much as they belong to Him.

See yourself in this light, for this is the truth about your prosperity. In the same way that the righteousness of God was imparted to your spirit when you were born again, prosperity and greatness have been imparted to your spirit. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” What does this mean?

First, understand that Jesus never became poor spiritually. So, the scripture we just read is talking about physical, material, and financial blessings. Jesus became poor for your sake so that from what He gave up, you might inherit abundance. Don’t see your job or business as your source. Live a joyful, prosperous life every day.

You’re the habitation of all of God’s blessings: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). Remember what the Lord said to Abraham, “…I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2); and He really did bless Abraham.

Paul revealed in Galatians 3:16 that the promised blessing wasn’t to Abraham alone but to Abraham and his seed. That seed is Christ. And we read in our opening scripture that “…if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). You’re the inheritor of the blessings of Abraham. Everywhere you go, you carry blessings with you. When you show up, blessings arrive. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I’m the seed of Abraham, and therefore the possessor and distributor of divine blessings. Salvation, righteousness, prosperity, healing, God’s goodness, mercies and grace flow through me to bless my world! I walk in abundance, health and success all my days. I’m blessed in all things and in every way. Blessed be God!

THEME: YOUR LIFE—A FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATER

THEME SCRIPTURE: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).

Your life as a Christian, according to God’s design, is a fountain of living water. Sadly, for some, their lives are “lakes” because they gather only to ask God for things. All they ever do is ask and talk about their problems. But that’s not how it ought to be.

When we come together to pray, worship, and study the Scriptures, it doesn’t matter that we’re four, five, six or more; we proclaim the Word. That’s a fountain. The Lord Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38).

The rivers of living water are prophetic words of power and blessings issuing forth from you. Prophecy holds the key to your future. Recall what God said to Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37:4-5, “…Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.”

Take charge of your life with the Word of God on your lips. Don’t wait for somebody else to do it for you. Let the fountain of living water issue forth from you. Prophesy about your future. Prophesy to your ministry, your job, your business and career. Prophesy about your health. Prophesy to your body. Prophesy to your bones. Prophesy to your skin and to your blood.

Don't wait for the world to decide what happens to you; prophesy. Sometimes what you need requires a miracle and until you prophesy it may never happen. So, use what God has given you; His Word, the Spirit, and your mouth Prophesy. Let gushers of living water, words of life, power, healing and blessing continuously flow from your innermost being. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for making me a fountain of living water. Out of my belly flow rivers of living water; words of life, power, healing and blessing. I walk in health, strength, progress, increase, and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: VICTORY OVER THE WORLD

THEME SCRIPTURE: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

Think about the fact that the verse we just read was written by the Apostle John. God gave him that wisdom, that revelation. He wasn't just prophesying; he was writing about the life that we have in Christ, the life he and the rest of the apostles lived. This was the mentality they had. They were raised to think victory only.

They had been with the Lord Jesus and had come to understand the message of the divine life: whatsoever is born of God has victory over the world and subdues the world. This means you have power over the world because you’re born of God: “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18).

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13). Because you’re born of God, you’ve conquered the world. You’ve prevailed over the world. You didn’t need to make an effort; it happened simply by your being born of God. Hallelujah!

You’ve conquered the world and its systems and corrupting influences. Nothing in this world is to your disadvantage. This must be your way of thinking. You have to train and see yourself in this light. When the pressures of life come against you, remember who you are and affirm that you have power over this world, its pressures, adversities and decadence. You have power over Satan, sicknesses, diseases and infirmities. Your faith in Christ has given you the victory. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for my faith that gives me victory over the world. I refuse to be moved by circumstances. I live triumphantly and reign victoriously over the systems of this world, its pressures, adversities, decadence and corrupting influences by the power of your Spirit and through the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: THE WAY THAT WINS

THEME SCRIPTURE: For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live (Romans 8:13).

As a Christian, it’s important that you see and interpret life from the right perspective, which is the Christ perspective. Don’t interpret life with your senses: what you can see, hear, feel and touch. Life is spiritual, and the way that wins is the way of the Spirit and the Word. You must see life and live it through the Word, not by assumptions or the theories of men.

When we talk about seeing life through the lens of the Word, it means everything you know and believe is consistent with the provisions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the Word of God concerning Jesus Christ, who He is and His mission, and His life in us today. He brought us the Kingdom-life, a higher life with higher principles. He completely baffled sense knowledge.

For example, He said, “…Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). That's not how the world relates. Moses said, “An eye for an eye,” but the Lord Jesus came with a new way to live.

The Bible says the Law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17). He came to reveal to us the life and nature of God, the way God thinks, the way that wins. This also applies to your health and well-being.

The world may endorse fear, disease and uncertainty, but the Gospel assures us of divine health: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2). If you ever feel symptoms in your body, don’t panic. Look through the Word. See from the Gospel perspective: divine health is your inheritance. Glory to God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for giving me your Word by which I live in victory and dominion. I see from the Gospel’s perspective and walk in your light always. I refuse to fear or accept any outcome that’s contrary to your Word. I walk in love, I live in divine health and strength, and I flourish every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: THE WISDOM OF THE RIGHTEOUS

THEME SCRIPTURE: And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord (Luke 1:17).

Notice the word “disobedient” in the verse above; it refers to the negative of being obedient. That’s the original Greek connotation. It means one who can’t be persuaded, one who is headstrong and deliberately chooses to go in the wrong direction, and there’re people like that in life.

Such people are unyielding even when they know the truth. They don’t submit to the Word of God, and the Word of God is the wisdom of God. So, the Bible says their hearts have to be turned to the wisdom of the just. This means that the wisdom of the just is yielding to the Word. The wisdom of the just is persuadable.

Recall what the Bible says about the children of Israel in the Old Testament: they couldn’t enter into God’s rest because of their unpersuadableness. But the wisdom of the just is easily convinced by the Word of God; it willingly and gladly accepts the Word. It’s quick to make adjustments on the basis of the Word.

God wants the hearts of the disobedient to be turned to the wisdom of the just. It’s called “phronesis” (Greek). That’s the highest kind of wisdom; when you’re swayed by the Word and allow it to shape your life and every decision you make. It doesn't matter how something appears; you only go with what the Word says. You’re living in conformity to the Word. That’s the wisdom of the just. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom of the just that works in me. My heart is ever open and responsive to your Word. I’m persuaded by your truth and governed by your love. Your wisdom propels me to walk in the paths of righteousness and live daily in alignment with your perfect will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: GOD’S WISDOM WORKING THROUGH YOU

THEME SCRIPTURE: But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom… (1 Corinthians 1:30).

One of the most glorious truths of the Gospel is that Christ has been made unto us wisdom. This means we have access to divine insight, understanding, and direction in all things. We’re not searching for wisdom; Christ is our wisdom. It’s the reason we can decode mysteries; we have insight into the secrets and realities of life.

There’s nothing you can’t comprehend or mentally put together. The will of God is unveiled to your spirit because Christ is your wisdom. The Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of wisdom, lives in you, and He causes you to excel. No wonder the prayer of the Spirit through the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:9 that you be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Blessed be God!

This is your life as a child of God. When you make decisions, they’re by God’s wisdom and righteousness; they’re not speculative or uncertain but accurate, producing results that glorify God because you function with divine wisdom. This wisdom shows up in how you speak, how you solve problems, how you relate with others, and in your walk with God. You love and do His Word.

This was how the Lord Jesus lived. The Bible tells us He grew in wisdom and in favour with God and man (Luke 2:52). He always knew what to do, what to say, and how to act. That same wisdom is now at work in you. The more you yield to the Word and the Holy Spirit, the more that wisdom finds expression through you. With this wisdom, you walk with precision and purpose, fulfilling God’s perfect will for your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your glory in my life and for making Christ my wisdom. I walk in divine insight, supernatural understanding and perfect judgment. I’m never confused or uncertain. I always know what to do because your wisdom is active and effective in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: FOCUS ON THE WORD

THEME SCRIPTURE: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:1-3).

If you want to see supernatural things happen in your life, focus on the Word. The Word of God created the whole world and the entire universe. God manifests Himself in different ways and one of those extraordinary ways is the Word. He manifests Himself in and through the Word. Where the Word of God is, God is.

The Word of God is not like the word of a man; the Word of God is life. The Word of God is power. The Word of God is light. The Word of God is truth. The Word of God is God. If you centre your mind on the Word, you're centring your mind on God. Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

How do you stay or keep your mind on Him? It’s by staying your mind on His Word, meditating on the Word. It doesn’t matter what you face in life; let God be all you see. That means see the Word; have the Word on your mind. When you have the Word of God on your mind, you're in for the supernatural. The Word is where the supernatural power of God is.

It’s the reason the Holy Spirit never does anything without the Word. In Genesis 1, the Bible says in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. But the earth was without form, and darkness covered the face of the deep. Then it says, the Spirit of God moved over the face of the waters but nothing changed. The darkness was still there, the chaos was still there, until the Word was given.

The Bible says, “And God said, let there be light, and light became” (Genesis 1:3). The Spirit of God caused the light to come into being only after God spoke. It shows the power and importance of God’s Word. You must focus on the Word. Speak it forth. Until the Word is given, the Spirit of God does nothing. So, to experience great things in your life as an individual and live transcendently as the Lord has ordained for you, live by the Word of God.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the power and integrity of your Word. I centre my heart and mind on the Word, and I’m full of peace. Your Word produces in me what it talks about; I see only possibilities, walk in excellence, victory and dominion, because your Word is my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
Joshua 1:8 AMPC This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

THEME: WORK THE WORD

THEME SCRIPTURE: Wherefore, my beloved… work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).

In Christianity, that you’re born again doesn’t automatically mean you’ll live like a true Christian or experience the results of the Christian life. It doesn’t mean things will automatically start happening of their own accord; no! You have to make them happen. You have to work out your salvation. That means you have to put your faith to work; you have to practise the Word of God.

It’s the doer of the Word that experiences the blessings of salvation: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” (James 1:22 & 25).

You have a life that’s superior to Satan, sickness, disease and infirmities—the divine life. You’re an associate of the God-kind: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4). You hail from God: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

Your origin is in God, and He lives in you. You must superimpose these realities upon the circumstances of life. That’s where your knowledge of the Word and meditation comes in. You have to know and meditate on the Word for yourself. Through meditation, the realities in the Word and the truths within your spirit are brought into your consciousness. They become real and tangible to you.

Also, through conscious meditation on the Word, you make your way prosperous, create your victories, and deal wisely in the affairs of life: “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it; For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success” (Joshua 1:8 AMPC).

There you have it: your glorious and prosperous life isn’t up to God but up to you. He’s given you His Word which is what you need to live supremely blessed, walk in dominion and enjoy the full benefits of salvation. But you must work the Word; act on it to produce in and for you what it talks about.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the divine life you've given me. I live in the consciousness of who I am in Christ. I superimpose your Word over my thoughts, my body, and my daily circumstances. I walk in divine health, peace and victory every day because I live from the awareness of your indwelling presence and the power of the Spirit in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

THEME: YOUR WORDS ARE YOUR PERSON

THEME SCRIPTURE: A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh (Luke 6:45).

Did you know that the best part of your personality is your words? The greatest gift given to us naturally by God is the ability to talk. That’s because your words are your person; your words are you. The character of your words is the character of your personality. You’re not different from your words. If your spirit is excellent, your words will be.

In emphasizing this, the Lord Jesus said, “Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit…for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things” (Matthew 12:33-35). Notice what the Lord said; the words that come out of you are from your heart, from your spirit. And your spirit is the real you.

Proverbs 23:7 says, "as he thinks in his heart so is he." In other words, you’re not different from your thoughts and words are thoughts clothed with vocabulary. So, your life as it is today is the image of what your words created months or years ago. And your life in the next few months or years is what you create now with your words. That’s how important words are.

PRAYER
Righteous Father, I thank you for the gift of speech and the ability to manifest your grace through my words. My words are filled with wisdom as they spring forth from the treasures of your Kingdom in my heart. I speak excellence, purity and truth. My words reveal your righteousness, shaping my glorious life and destiny in you. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

THEME: HOLY EXPRESSIONS OF WORSHIP

THEME SCRIPTURE: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

God is a Spirit, and the Bible says those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. However, there’re certain things you do physically that help you activate your spirit.

For example, when you consciously and deliberately kneel in prayer, it causes your spirit to be immediately activated for prayer. That’s why He told you to do it, because immediately, you're moved from your mental state into a spiritual state, fulfilling the Scriptures. Psalm 95:6 says, “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.”

Daniel also knelt in prayer: “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house and... he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed...” (Daniel 6:10). Even the Lord Jesus knelt down to pray: “And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed” (Luke 22:41).

The same thing happens when you lift your hands in prayer, adoration, praise and worship to the Lord. These physical actions draw you from the natural into the spiritual. They are holy expressions of reverence, adulation and worship. The Bible says, “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” (1 Timothy 2:cool.

King Solomon lifted his hands when he dedicated the temple: “And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer… he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven” (1 Kings 8:54). These examples show us the importance and spirituality of certain reverential actions, even though they’re physical.

Never take these spiritual postures lightly. They help shift your focus from the distractions of the flesh to the realities of the Spirit. They help you make contact with your spirit, and you’re stirred and awakened to deeper fellowship with the Lord. Recall the words of the Psalmist, “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice” (Psalm 141:2). Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for teaching me to worship you in spirit and in truth. I yield my body as an instrument of righteousness, aligning it with my spirit in worship, prayer and adoration. As I lift my hands and bow my knees, my spirit is stirred and awakened to deeper fellowship with you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: ETERNAL REMISSION

THEME SCRIPTURE: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7).

Did you know the Bible doesn’t actually instruct us to ask God for forgiveness? More so, God didn’t even make provision for your forgiveness in the way most people think. Rather, He did something far greater; He gave us remission.

Forgiveness means to pardon. That is, the wrongs or sins that the offender committed remain on record, but he or she is no longer held accountable or punished for them. This is how men forgive. But that’s not what God did in Christ Jesus. The New Testament introduces us to the greater reality of remission.

1 John 1:9 says, “...he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins....” But the Greek word translated forgive there is actually “aphiemi,” which is from “aphesis.” This word does not primarily mean “pardon.” Instead, it means “to send away,” “to take away completely,” or “to separate from.” That’s remission, not forgiveness. God didn’t leave your sins on record and then pardon you. No! He removed them completely; they were taken away, blotted out.

This is why we don’t keep asking God to forgive us. In Christ, our sins were remitted; they were washed away, not covered up. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus provided full payment for sin, resulting in your total justification.

Some quote verses from Matthew, Mark or Luke, to justify a forgiveness-based mentality. Jesus’ teachings in those gospels were to a people still under the old covenant before His death and resurrection. But now, we’re new creatures in Christ, and God has no record of your sin: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). You’ve been cleansed, justified and sanctified. Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the eternal remission of sins I have in Christ Jesus. I walk in the light of my righteousness, knowing that sin and its attendant effects have no dominion over me. I live boldly and confidently, enjoying unhindered fellowship with you, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

THEME: RESPOND PROMPTLY TO HIS VOICE

THEME SCRIPTURE: Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness (Hebrews 3:8 ).

Cultivating a very rich and focused relationship with the Holy Spirit is essential for your spiritual growth and maturity. The Holy Spirit lives in you; He guides and leads you into all truth. Recognizing His voice and responding appropriately would transform your walk with Him and help you fulfil His purpose for your life gloriously.

Maybe you’ve been out talking with someone, and afterwards, the Holy Spirit says to you, “You talked too much today. You shouldn’t have said the things you said.” Don’t brush it off, thinking it’s just your mind. Take that simple correction seriously and thank Him for it. That way, you’re encouraging His ministry in your life.

Some ignore His promptings and get into trouble eventually. But His desire is always to help you avert every danger that might be lurking ahead. Isaiah 30:21 (NIV) says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Today, that voice is not behind you; it’s inside you.

When you hear His voice within you telling you what you should do or not do, act swiftly. Train yourself to recognize and respond to His voice. It’s easy to know His voice because He gives you guidance and direction in line with the Word. Everything He tells you sides with the Word.

Sadly, some continue to resist and ignore His voice. The result of that is stagnation and failure. Month after month, they remain the same, stuck in a cycle without progress, immature in their spiritual walk. Spiritual maturity is marked by sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

Mature Christians yield quickly to His correction and instruction. They understand that the Spirit’s guidance is vital for effective Christian living and spiritual growth. Therefore, they respond quickly to His guidance and voice with humility. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for giving me a heart that’s sensitive to your Word and to your voice. Through the guidance and promptings of the Holy Spirit, I live an excellent life that’s fully pleasing to you as I fulfil my destiny in Christ. Your wisdom fills my heart, and your love flows freely through me as I walk in sync with the Spirit, growing in maturity, grace and purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THEME: YOUR WORDS ARE ALIVE

THEME SCRIPTURE: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).

The words you speak are not empty; they don’t just go away; they live on. Don't think the last thing you said ended when you said it. Every word that comes out of your mouth is alive in the spirit-realm. The only way to repel or counter already spoken words is by speaking words that are opposite and more powerful. Words are things; they have energy and tangibility.

This should make you put a premium on words. Never say what you don’t mean or don’t want to happen. Never speak negatively because the principle is simple but spiritual: you shall have what you say. The Lord Jesus said so: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).

It’s for the same reason He tells us not to speak idle, inoperative words: “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:36-37). Idle words are useless words, words you speak that don't mean anything. He says you’ll be held accountable for speaking such words.

Remember, you’re made in the image and likeness of God, and what did the Master say about Himself? He said, “...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). He put a premium on words. The difference between the words of the Lord Jesus and the words of any other person is that He spoke life. He gave us an example to follow.

Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue....” Speak only life and everything in your life and environment will live. Speak life to your business, your finances, your body, your children, and to everything around you. Remember, your words never die; they’re living and active; they determine the course or direction of your life. Whether you're going to be a success or a failure is all in your mouth.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for teaching me the power of words. My words are full of life, power and faith. I speak only what I desire to see. I speak life to my body, progress to my work, growth to my finances, and peace to my environment. Thank you for making my tongue a tree of life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

THEME: BEING BORN AGAIN—A SPIRITUAL REALITY

THEME SCRIPTURE: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Once, a respected Jewish teacher, Nicodemus by name, came to see the Lord Jesus. He was a ruler among the Jews, but despite his religiosity, something was missing. The Master looked at him and made a profound statement that cut through all his religious knowledge and rituals: “...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).

Nicodemus, somewhat flustered, asked, “How can a man be born when he is old?” But the Lord Jesus wasn’t speaking of physical birth; He was revealing a deep spiritual truth. Being born again isn’t a mere religious cliché or phenomenon but a spiritual reality. It means receiving a brand-new life, the life and nature of God Himself.

When you were born again, you weren’t brought into a religion; there was a supernatural transformation. It was an actual rebirth. Your human life was supplanted by the divine life at the new birth. Something actually took place in the spirit; you were brought from death into life and immortality: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24).

Now that you’re born again, you’re born of the Word by the Spirit of the Lord: “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:6-7). 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

The Bible also says in John 1:12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” This is what it means to be born again; you’re literally and vitally born of God, with His life and nature in your spirit. You’re taxonomically different from the non-Christians. As Jesus is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the supernatural life of Christ that’s now at work in me. I’m born of the incorruptible Word, which lives and abides forever; I’m not an ordinary person. I’m a new creation, born of your Word and your Spirit. I live the higher life, full of glory and righteousness. I walk in victory every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
John 3:3-8 KJV; Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

THEME: THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE

THEME SCRIPTURE: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).

In 1 John 3:4, the Apostle John writes, "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." But then, Paul in 1 Timothy 1:9 tells us, "Knowing this that the law is not made for a righteous man;”* and we are the righteous. It then gives rise to the question, “As Christians, are we under any law at all?”

Yes, we are, but it’s a different kind of law. It’s not the law of Moses. It’s not the law of sin and death. It’s the law of the Spirit of life. That’s what the Apostle James called the perfect law of liberty in James 1:25: “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”

That phrase “perfect law of liberty” is an interesting play of words. Law typically implies restriction, yet here it produces liberty. This law works inside us to cancel the restrictions or inhibitions from Satan. For example, when sickness attacks the body, it’s a corruption or an inhibition of the person’s health. But thanks be unto God, the Bible says the Lord Jesus Christ abolished death and brought life and immortality to light” (2 Timothy 1:10). Hallelujah!

Being born again, you have eternal life, and eternal life doesn’t require healing. Therefore, it doesn’t matter what attacks your body; if you’d stir up the life of God in your spirit, your whole body will be vitalized. The Bible says, “If the Spirit of Him that raised up Christ from the dead lives in you, He’ll vitalize your body” (Romans 8:11).

The Holy Spirit in you is life-generating. Whereas everything in the natural world degenerates, life works in you and in everything that’s connected to you because you’re in the realm of life. You’ve passed from death to life (John 5:24). Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the perfect law of liberty by which I live and function. I walk in the liberty of the Spirit, free from every limitation and empowered to execute your will. I declare that your purpose is fulfilled in and through me, and I bring forth your righteousness in all I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
Romans 8:10-11 KJV; And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

THEME: FOCUS ON YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE

THEME SCRIPTURE: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23–24).

A lot of people allow themselves to be distracted. They get caught up in the busyness of life, petty worries, and worldly pursuits. Before they realize it, they’ve veered off course from God's divine purpose. Distractions can cause you to lose sight of what truly matters. They pull you away from your God-given assignment. So, stay alert and refuse to be distracted.

God has planned a specific work for you to do. There’s a divine assignment with your name on it. If you neglect it, you will have to give account to Him. So stay focused on your purpose. The Lord Jesus said, “...My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work” (John 4:34). “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” (John 9:4).

Are you about the Father’s work? Is it your goal to finish your assignment, to fulfil your ministry in the Gospel? The Apostle Paul had the same mindset as the Lord Jesus; he refused every form of distraction and stayed focused on His assignment. In Philippians 3:13-14, he said, “…this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

In Hebrews 12:1, he gave an important admonition which, apparently, was a hallmark of his own life. He said, “…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” At the end, he said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). That’s what truly matters.

Be mindful of your divine purpose and responsibilities. Be faithful and diligent in the things God has asked you to do. We have a clear mandate to complete the full preaching of the Gospel to the whole world. You have a role in this. Set your eyes on the goal, run your race with perseverance and finish your course with joy. Praise God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the divine assignment you've given me. I refuse to be distracted by people, situations, or circumstances. I focus my heart and energy on fulfilling your purpose for my life. I run my race with determination and finish my course with joy, bringing glory to your Name, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 14TH

THEME: THE COMFORT OF THE SCRIPTURES

THEME SCRIPTURE: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope (Romans 15:4).

God cared so much about us that He gave us the Holy Scriptures as a personal document so that through the comfort of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

That’s why I love to study the Bible again and again. As I study, I find direction. I’m filled with hope. I look at the future with great expectation. No matter what’s happening in the world, I’m focused on the Word. I set my face like a flint because I have hope through the comfort of the Scriptures.

The Bible has become for me a living thing, the living voice of Christ. For example, whenever I say, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world,” I’m not just quoting a verse. I’m responding to a living voice that God gave me for my journey. He knows we don’t see Him physically every day. He knows the pressures we deal with and the times we wish He would visibly show up. But He gave us something even more dependable, His Word.

He wants you to rely on His Word, for it never fails. Isaiah 55:11 says, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Then in Matthew 24:35, the Lord Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

This shows that God's Word is the most dependable foundation. Not one word from Him has ever failed or could ever fail as Joshua 21:45 affirms, "Not one word of all the good promises which the Lord had made unto the house of Israel failed; all came to pass."

Furthermore, the Scriptures empower you to deal wisely in the affairs of life (Joshua 1:8 AMPC). That’s why we emphasize meditating on the Word. Everything you’d ever be in your life is wrapped up in the Word. So, stay on the Word. Live by the Word.

CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of the Scriptures, your living Word that guides, inspires and strengthens me. Through the comfort of the Scriptures, I have hope. I walk in wisdom, faith and bold expectation of a glorious future. Your Word is my daily light, and I live by its truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
2 Timothy 3:15-16 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Joshua 1:8 AMPC This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

THEME: THE RIGHTNESS OF GOD IN YOU

THEME SCRIPTURE: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24).

Righteousness is the rightness of God at work in you. It is divinity manifested in you. It is the unveiling of the Father’s heart, His life and love at work in you. Living right is the outworking of the righteousness of God in you. He is righteousness, and He is your righteousness. He gave you the righteousness of Jesus Christ: “...of Him are ye in Christ Jesus who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30).

This is what gives you right standing with Him. Being born again, you’re in the presence of the Father without guilt, condemnation, or inferiority. We’re bold and confident before Him. We live in harmony with the Father, walking in the light of His Word. We know Him, and He knows us; we’ve become one with Him: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Righteousness is your life now; it’s your nature. You’ve received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness: “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17). Now you can walk in Him, justified and at peace with God.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for giving me your own righteousness: the ability to live right, think right, and live in your perfect will. I walk in the consciousness of my oneness with you, without guilt or condemnation. Your life and love are at work in me, producing fruits of righteousness. I reign in life through Jesus Christ. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 5:17 AMPC For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Philippians 3:7-9 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
