What the SE saw over 50 years ago is what they are jubilating over in 2024. The actual fuel of the civil war between 1967 - 1970 was about who w controls the exploration of crude oil in Nigeria. It was a war between Shell (British) supported Nigeria side and Total (France) supported Biafra side.
Ojukwu knew that France was a more reliable partner but Gowon was deceived by shell -we know because we are living the consequences of the exploitation and environmental degradation of Gowon decision today.

Fast forward to 2024, its a total U-turn in allegiance. The once rejected stone is now the corner stone. Time heals every wound.
Yes and then pushed two brothers to fight themselves, while looting and exploiting their natural resources, and the cycle continues and one African here thinks one side meant him good, when actually the both of them are after your natural resources to loot angry

Neocolonialism at it's finest undecided

I shock to see #1045 per litre for one private retail Petrol Station for my remote area this morning.

This same station has been selling #1250, #1200 depending on the mood of the owner and how scarce petrol is around this area.

Now at #1045 ...I can say petrol will soon sell below #1000
Don't deceive yourself too much

fmr governor obaseki was thinking in dt line

The govt has to pass a law making it compulsory for private secondary sch to start offering vocational subjects which is in the waec syllabus

Then there need for a third tertiary institutions which is vocational sch.

Eg vocational school for computer repair, mobile phone repair they partner with the manufacturer to help with creating a student friendly practical textbook nd also one to retrain the teachers nd guide them on awarding marks for exam nd text with such Nigeria youth will be better of

because bad education model ( theory model) is number one thing pushing Nigeria backwards
These are what the Asian's are doing

Correct. But do you think your job is scarce in Nigeria compared to design and manufacturing?
No not at all, it's actually also basically designing and manufacturing in the real essence.

Truth is majority of Nigerian graduate's and youths frown at most artisan job's, Yahoo(internet fraudsters) made it a whole different game with a harder stage

Oya you said you were going to connect me with a client

Lol... you think if Nigeria was an industrialised nation with a functioning economy, a university trained agric engineer will be the one mounting a tractor to harvest maize in a farm?

In industrialised nations, you really think its university trained engineers who work in 12 hour shifts, standing in manufacturing assembly lines to mass produce and package equipment, machines and other products?

Lol... You're actually a victim of Nigeria's failed economy, that's why you can't differentiate the roles of an engineer from a technician.
God Bless You Sir 🤗

No no
Just send me pic now.
I'll like to recommend you to someone who does welding
What inch of iron rod do you use for burglary proof
What about rod for plinths? What inches do you use?
What's the name of the liquid used to remove scrap paint before you start the bodywork and what is used to full the body after scraping
Over here in Benin City, we use iron pipes for burglaries, 5inch pipes

For plinths, we use rods

We use body filler's AKA cufill polyesters

And then we use putty's to fill dents

During treatment, we use alcohols and slow thinners and for heavy treatment we use hard thinners

What else? smiley

False. Great civilizations are a consequence of technological innovations in solving basic human problems, controlling the environment or in warfare.
Which of your monophonic Universities or national institution's are much concentrated on technological innovations practically in the country at the moment?

That is a crude way of putting it, but Oshiomole is right. To industrialise, Nigeria needs more technical work force.

However, the socio-economic conditions and value system in nigeria does not give proper dignity and reward to such jobs, except on few occasions.
Exactly

It is shame if people don't understand what the Man is obviously trying to say

That you allow this open glorification & support for TERRORISM in your forum is a very huge indictment.

The lunatic that posted this speech supporting, advocating and glorifying terrorism on this forum, obviously, has been at it before now but you turn a blind eye to it! It is shocking and despicable!!!

I hope the @CIA @MOSSAD @OFFICIALDSS somehow find these comments and not only track the killer behind them but also hold NAIRALAND, its owners & Moderators responsible!
