I knew Ohakim's case was that bad especially when he beat up a catholic priest but in all I think Imo people should choose their next governor wisely and hold him accountable like they are doing for Okorocha though in a very harsh way which I think its not too fair. I think Okorocha deserve some commendation, even in rivers state some still admit amaechi did well in first term. We shouldn't allow politics of bitterness to overlook some positive sides of our Governors. People say all sorts against Tinubu but he laid the foundation upon which fasola and ambode are building upon today. The likes of akpabio tried, past governor of enugu tried, amosun is trying, mimiko did well first term, aregbesola tried first term, truth is if we have more governors like these men in their good days, Nigeria will be better off. States like delta am not sure have been fortunate. Thank you Sir. I agree with you. |

then why are you guys so hard on Okorocha, even his predecessor never had this kind of animosity and what is even the hope that his successor will get to the height of Deesam, Sir whatever is happening in Imo state is also common to other states as well, Can we say any governor in the sw has gotten to the standard of Awolowo? Definitely not but I think you guys should take it easy on Okorocha, even the former governor of abia state who is now a senator is not getting these hard knocks like Okorocha is getting. na beg I de beg una. Ohakim was disgraced out.Rochas was lucky cos no lesser evil option was available to replace him with. Ohakim had it worse only that you didn't take notice cos he wasn't in APC. |

oga, there were lots of praises for okorocha during his first term which made him win second term despite his moving to the APC, I think second term Governors generally most times are not impressive, same for for even states under PDP currently but I think the animosity against Okorocha has been way over the top just like amaechi.
we need to exercise restraints at times, the likes of Dickson and mimiko are not faring too well either but I can't see that animosity against them like that of Okorocha. I respect your views but sometimes we need to be careful they way we demonize these politicians especially when there are lots of positives about them. I like Akpabio [I love his charisma] despite his negatives, he tried for his people. Obiano is doing great if all we are hearing is true but remember he is in his first term. Nobody is demonizing them but only painting the true pictures of what is perceptible to the senses. The masses are no fools and when elected leaders give their best the masses will defend them. Its not even as if the Nigerian masses demand much from her politicians. Dee Sam raised the standard of leadership in imo state and no politician is yet to get close to such. Go to the streets of imo and see how Dee Sam and papilo are celebrated. May the soul of Dee Sam continue to rest in peace.amin. 4 Likes 1 Share |

LONGFUELCUE:
Yes when somebody that is very sound in economics enters, Nigeria will be better-off not just naira appreciation. The only thing he is busy doing is propaganda about fighting corruption. Telling Nigerians what they want to hear and not what is actually happening, exactly the strategy they used in electioneering.
Seems he is ready to listen to advice now that his rigidity in style of managing Nigeria has caused us a lot. After several warnings about so many things fell on that same deaf ears that made him cancel his trip to Lagos. Now CBN wants to devalue naira further finally. Buhari has nothing to offer Nigerians. His sense of judgment even in picking the right team to work with is zero. The damages Buhari has done to Nigerians in just a year will take donkey years to reverse. Nigeria is heading to self destruct as long as buhari continues in Aso Rock. 1 Like |

Really Fashola and the other Ministers are homeless?
Or by homeless you mean they haven't been paid billions as accommodation allowances as the previous administrations have insensitively done?
The sleaze fashola made from drilling borehole at the black market rate of $73 million per one got him some nice structures to live in Abuja. The billions ameachi stole to bankroll Buhari is more than enough to get all the ministers decent accommodations. Even the billions budgeted just for renovating Aso villa is enough to put decent structures down for all civil servants in Abuja. 1 Like |
