The heat alarm experienced during charging, what was the atmosphere of the room at the time? Even my Samsung warns me of overheating....... Some devices never warn of overheating, they just explode........

The 5150 Mah on Umidigi devices, are truly mind blowing......... If you can exhaust the 5150Mah in a very heavy day's use, you need a permanent transformer in your life.....

Now go forth and keep preaching the Umidigi Gospel.........

i had to use the device at least for 2-3wks b4 i can make a review... and i know it ll be lengthy but i no get chance..na cos ve been down with malaria and couldn't go to work that's why i managed to type the review...

The room temperature na normal ... though am not bothered by the temperature.. it's normal for some devices

I guess am over-due for a REVIEW on my F2

Got it on Jumia For 81200<shipping inclusive> on the 23-05-2020..it was delivered to me 01-06-2020

DESIGN- well this ll be my first personal Umidigi phone apart from my wife's A5Pro.. i can testify to it..the design na wow wow wow... wifey saw d phone and wants to exchange with me.. was like mbanu u can't use d phone to its full capacity cos the A5Pro i got her ,she only uses it for WhatsApp, Candy Crush & Watching Movies basically... she has a Nokia Android she's attached to for making Calls... Everyone at my workplace has been wowed by the phone.. some were even looking for back fingerprint b4 i showed them it's sideways... Rating on design 10

BATTERY- when i opened the phone, met it on 85% so i switched it off and charged it ..i must say it took almost 2hrs to finally reach 100%.. was worried initially but then i switched it on and first thing first i made sure i updated all the pending software... now my battery charges from 0-100 in 1hr 45mins or thereabouts.
Now battery usage: the 5150mah performs truly to my expectations... wasn't sure b4 but it has stabilized now... i use it for a full day on heavy usage... i Play COD and PES 2020 mostly ... i can play COD for 3hours straight with 90% and the battery ll still be at 50-60% thereabouts...

CAMERA: Am not much of a Picture guy but the 48mp is above average for me... took some shots when it was rain 3days ago and even did a slowmo video and am impressed really.. though I know with a few optimization it ll be better.. but am OK with the one i have presently.

MULTITASKING/PERFORMANCE

This is my first 6gbram phone..my previous phone uses a meager 2gbram and when i tell u F2 is damn fast just gbagbe...my jnr bro uses a Tecno Camon 11pro with 6gbram 64gb rom, I don't know the processor but my phone beats it hands down... he was impressed with the phone and wanted to get it too but was dissuaded cos of the shipping timeframe...he went on to get a Camon12pro [same 6gbram64gbrom]yesterday for 65k..me was just laughing inside...
all the apps on my phone uses a average of 3gb so am left with a spare 3gbram for usage...the HelioP70 is good for me...no talks here....

Personal Opinion... i must confess am truly grateful for getting this phone and i must commend Oga Lexusgs430, for creating this thread on nairaland
and vote of thanks for others who got a umidigi device for posting there reviews here...Been following the thread 3yrs ago b4 i decided to join the family with A5Pro and Umidigi Upod in February and F2 in June...


NOW have i faced any fault with the device since o bought it? Yes of course..

SOMETIMES it heats up when charging..it even got to a point 1 day it told me to disconnect the charger cos the temperature has passed its maximum threshold.. naso i off the device remove the case & put am inside my freezer for a minute or so... then i put it on and continued my charging... anytime i see it's getting hotl now, i disconnect the charger and put it off and on again b4 continuing charging...but the d fone dun chop freezer AC like 3ce sha..lol...

Got my Umidigi A3s some few days ago, I like it, I'll like to change the font, just want to ask if it's safe to root it, and also Everytime I switched it on this screen usually come on, the page is not showing any signs of progress even with WiFi on.

Open Google Play Store and Update your Google apps then go back to that page...it should move forward

fix it and end in another lager premium tears... there's someone who fixed his here and it ended in premium tears without the tab falling or any fault

My F2 is still on testing mode...not ready to drop review yet....

Forget bro... umidigi re bigger than jst putting a dormant camera there jst for bloke.... that camera has its own function..not for capturing...

i won't lie you... i don't regret buying the phone... it has served me nd my wife effortlessly...

my wife is eyeing my new F2 now ...but na only eyes fit see, hand fit touch oo but i no fit give her cos she won't use it to the full capacity.... she's only using her A5pro for movies and Candy Crush alone....
