Hello I tried the second option which was the plugging it into a laptop is worked actually the battery was dead and I switched to the main outlet too and I tried to power it on but still same old story it firstly displayed the umidigi stuff but after that, it suddenly went off again and since then it's not been coming up again

U should have left it connected to the laptop for at least an hour to increase the battery bar since it came up...


Try connecting it again to the laptop and if it still gvs the sound leave it dere.. I ll suggest u try it at night.. Just plug it in to the computer and go sleep.. Check it in the morning if it charges... If not disconnect and reconnect again when it sounds remove it and plug it into the mains for like an hour... It ll surely come up... The battery has been drained due to the brick.. Needs to be boosted.. But it ll take time... Be rest assured that your phone will come back to life.. Just plug it nd forget it for few hours or so... I thought as much because, when I plugged it into my system, the system makes a sound that indicates something is plugged in

It happened to me on Saturday night when my phone was bricked... There re 2 options for u... 1 is the fast process which is get a screwdriver and unscrew ir phone then remove the battery flex and reconnect then plug the phone... 2nd option plug it to ur laptop like that.. It might take some hours b4 it comes up.. Or u plug to laptop for like 30mins and switch to the main outlet for 30mins.. It ll definitely come up... To buy a phone tool screw driver should not be more than 700naira to 1k

You ll have to take it to an engineer then to unscrew it for u... I want to believe its not a flashing issue

Hello guys, my umidigi a3 pro just packed up I mean for real. Its not up to a 3 months.
Uesterday, I was charging it and suddenly it went off I was already getting scared but after about 30min, it came up back.

And now guys my precious phone since last night about 10pm it's not coming up again my phone is not switching on. I tried the Manuel reset stuff its not working either.

I went to all the engineer s I know they said until its flashed or rebooted and nobody has the software there pls help me

If you have a phone tool, i would suggest you unscrew ur phone, remove the battery flex and put it back... Then try charging it... If it doesn't work, remove the battery flex again and plug the phone directly and try to check if current reaches the board.. If yes, plug the battery back....

I will suggest you use a pc first, if u hear a connection sound that means you get hope.....

Mk una no vex for me oo..I tried rooting my phone on Thursday, and it went into a bootloop.. By the time I reflashed the stock ROM,the imei dun disappear.. Tried repairing the imei and phone ended up bricked.... But its back and better now.. Phone rooted and imei restored...

Shame on my village people

Ladies and gentlemen, I recently got umidigi A5 pro. The phone is cool but where am have an issue with the phone is connecting the Hotspot to my pc. I have tried all i could but it won't connect.

Same issue when trying to transfer some files from my pc to the phone using a USB cord, it didn't work.

Please is there a way to solve these issues

There are a lot of things that can cause ur laptop to not see ur phone or connect with it..try one of the following hints to see if it ll work...

1. Setup your WiFi hotspot with a new password
2. From the screen shot below.. Set the security to WPA 2PSK
3. Change the band to 2.4ghz then save and retry...if it didn't work change the band again...


As for ur phone not connecting to laptop, try and activate the developer option and retry...


If none of the above works for u, I give up..

Normally a restart will fix the problem for the time being till dey provide another update.. But to save u the cost of spending extra bucks when it happens again and u cant end the call,

Go to settings, scroll down to accessibility icon, click it and activate [ Power button Ends Call] u can use that to end ur call b4 u restart again..
