Politics / Candle Night For Fallen Heroes Of Lekki Massacre by Sleemut09: 10:10am On Oct 24, 2020
Good morning everyone!

It’s been a crazy couple days we’ve hit our low low and trying to get better psychologically! After the unfortunate horror that had happened with our beloved brothers and sisters we lost in the struggle to a better Nigeria, an end to police brutality and many more! May their souls rest in eternal peace.
After days of our struggle then lekki horror happened. President of the Federal republic of Nigeria in his speech failed to recognize/address our struggle properly nor acknowledge the loss of our slain comrade. That was a huge psychological blow which had reduced our moral to dust! Then we had to look forward to what next? We obviously can’t continue to do same thing over and over expecting different results! I think we have to come together and outline a plan! Yoruba people do say “towo Eni obate eku ida! Akiiibere ikutopa BAba eniii” as soon as we take away the power they have then we can have the nigeria we dream of but we can’t do that going forward protesting on the streets like we did in the past! After the lekki killing! They gave us a mission, they gave us objectives! And we shall achieve our long last dream!
I’ll advice we hold an 8 day Tribute for our known slain heroes not the one in our national anthem! If your close to Lagos or in Lagos Just go to lekki drop flowers and raise candle in the evening! If your not in Lagos! You have a common ground where people lost their lives hold the tribute there and we do a video of it let the whole world see! If you’re in your house do a short video like 20 seconds in memory of those you know and lost to police brutality do the tribute with candle then do a video collage and show to the world what that meant to us. We have to fire back psychologically even if our government is trying to hide and deny all that happened! We surely need show the world that night happened!
That will be core of our burning flames!
And we channel it to our plans!
We have to be discreet about our plans going forward too! On the outside they should see us as unserious generation! Phone pressing generation and clowns that we are while serious work is going on underground! They won’t know what’s about to hit them nor what’s coming at them. We have to take the power! And create the nigeria we all dream of! But we have to play their game and beat them at it! We outnumber them, we are smarter than they are, we have youths in all part of professions! Collectively we can achieve greater things they don’t think we can! What we’ve show (unity, level of coordination, level of transparency and all) that we’ve shown the past days of peaceful protest! It’s incredible! We have to belive in ourselves ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Crime / How A Fraud Was Cautioned by Sleemut09: 5:57pm On Mar 31, 2020
It sounded funny though but I sense we could learn one thing or the other.

We all term and believe Nigeria is a corrupt country but we could salvage this mess on the country. My brother in law visited a primary school in Ibadan, Ona-Ara local government January 2020 to collect his primary school certificate. But to his surprise he was asked to pay #5,000 before it could be prepared and issued to him. He pleaded that they should collect #1,500 from him but they refuted despite of severally pronouncement by the state governor that no kobo should be collected by all primary and secondary school as all expenses line has been fully borne by the government. He had to leave for home depressed.

Upon getting home, he discussed his bitter experience with my mother in-law who happens to be a headmistress in another primary school but in Ibadan north local government. She called the school phone number given to her son. Good afternoon madam, please is this XXXXX school am calling?I am calling from Ministry of Education from Abuja. It was reported to me that you have been imposing illegal payment on your school alumni who came to get primary school certificate in your school. Despite of several strict warning from the state government yet you insisted to defraud people of unapproved sum. The voice of the woman on the other end has been shaking, she stammered as she pleads that she has knows nothing. My mother inlaw rang the woman that she's giving them the last opportunity to desist on such act.

Two hours later, a call rang on the phone-it was a man's voice this time around. Good afternoon ma, please ma...I am the principal. Please I am very sorry ma. Kindly have mercy and don't take the issue heighten further. I promise that such will never happen anymore.

We all laughed off our head as she shared the funny story.

People outside Oyo state will not know more about his deeds but only the residents and those from neighborhood would understand this man.

What impressed me most has been his humbleness and how he make a bold frontier between his governance and his party.

Within his 100days in office he has paid over #1billion naira to pensioners.
Salary payment on 25th of every month both to workers and pensioners..this has never been in record of the state.
100% free education for all students. Imagine a free government exercise books, past questions, textbook and other without any customised picture or the governor nor his party logo. We only have the state logo. He abolished #3000 levied on all students in the state by the past state government
Mention but a few of his deeds...just imagine a governor removing his immunity. A governor that could declare his asset publicly of #48billion in worth apart from his ever supporting wife's asset which worth double of his own.
Imagine a governor that has committed his monthly salary from state government to pension board of the state.

You will never see him sharing money to thugs or citizens in public but has done many developmental project right before he got the governor seat.

He sent many alhaji in ibadan today to Mecca, many pastors to Jerusalem, my immediate brother was a beneficiary to his yearly scholarship scheme when he was in lautech. He is the only politician I could say he love his people and could do many state project with his personal money apart MKO Biola when he has never smell all governmental seat.

He constructed a 24/7 GAS POWERED electricity for a big village in Ibadan name AJIA far back before he became the governor.

Perhaps you did not know, this man has been contesting for governor seat in Oyo state more than three times whereby he lost all before he won at the fourth bid for the seat.

MAY God bless our G.S.M

Politics / Re: How Do We Make Nigeria Become A Great Nation - Let's Brainstorm by Sleemut09: 8:30am On Aug 19, 2019
david290:
It's simple: let's reverse engineer the situation. This can be pretty difficult but I believe it's achievable.
The one opportunity that I see the youth riding on to leadership is the lack of trust the citizens have continuously expressed against the leadership of this country. And from what you saw happened in 2015, I can almost bet my left ball that Nigerians will vote anybody they have trust in, regardless of his party.
We first need to make the leadership style of these current old cargoes unfashionable. They make promises, we, on the other hand, should show results.
Let's start by using proven tactics like crowd funding to provide jobs for our youths.
If that will not work quite as quickly, with my little internet skills and business knowledge in conjunction with those of other smart Nigerian youths, we can scout and support our youths with great ideas and ventures by helping them to launch and thrive, after which we'll make them pledge their loyalty to make at least a 20% slot for Nigerian youths.
All this will add when we present a candidate who will be fielded on the platform we'll be creating - this will give us control over the leadership style of our candidate, and will as well reduce the financial obligations like the purchase of candidature forms and campaign costs.
Long and short of my epistle:
> We need our best brains
> We need to be actively involved in leadership roles
> The youth need to unite for a common cause
> Let's use this unity to build credibility and a platform, which, in turn, will be used to win the hearts of electorates during elections

Good evening NL,

I will appreciate if I could get my burden.

I was a PGD Mgt. student of NOUN 2013/2014 session, a programme which is expected to last for a year. I registered, completed and passed all the necessary courses required in the programme except the project which am not sure the supervisor finally submitted for me.

I was able to reach him this week and he assured to have submitted it but demanded that we arrange a physical meeting which I believe its a means to ripe off me some money.

I will appreciate a better advice on how apply for my full result and certificate. I have tried to login and reset password on NOUN website but all effort proved abortive.

SOMEONE SHOULD PLEASE HELP

Politics / Taxing Of O'pay Okada Riders-oyo State by Sleemut09: 12:45pm On Aug 14, 2019
I hereby register my commendation on the Oyo state government effort in revamping the lost glory of PACE SETTER state led my Governor Seyi Makinde.

As a good and concern citizen of the state, I will like to open the eyes of the government to taxation of online incomes. I take O-PAY company as a case study. This is a newly emerged and booming to transportation company in the state paying millions of naira daily to her thousands of employees across the state.

Oyo state government can reap millions of naira (if not billion) in approaching this establishment for Personal Income Tax of their employees. This will help the government in his effort to take the state to its peak.

Feedback on this piece will be appreciated and will also encourage continuity of such.

Best Regards.

If not now, when could it be?
Nigerian Youths slumber,
Even lost on our pillows.
Imagine the king meant to reign,
Has been turned to become slave
On his ancient kingdom and fatherland.
Oh Nigeria! Pride of the continents,
Why will your destiny be coined
To shabby and shame?

Here's a cry from Divine,
A tap from angelic,
Get up NIGERIAN YOUTHS,
Shouting Alas... For doom lies ahead
If you continue dying on your slumbering,
As a result of your laziness.

ARISE NIGERIAN YOUTHS!!!
ANY cries today
It's a call to rescue Nigeria,
We are the determinant,
We are relevant, we can make it.

This is the first time I will be posting about SOWORE since inception.

I so much believe in SOWORE and his vision to rescue this country to a better Nigeria though there's a limit you can vouch for human(being a social science).

*MY CONCERN*

Indeed Sowore has been widely known online especially by Nigerians and the world abroad but my headache is *Nigerians from grassroot need to be reached* because the have the highest ratio of voters card. No wonder their vote can be easily buy off by selfish politicians

I always pray silently every morning that this man(Sowore) should mount that podium of first Nigeria citizen(President) by 2019, but let people close to him advice him on how important people from grassroot matters.

WAY FORWARD
Huge sign post in all local government carrying his picture & name and also speaking about his good deeds and vision.

Launching of *Sowore APRON* which can be bought by all Nigerian youth at a subsidised rate e.g #500 or lesser. This will carry his picture.

Two days(e.g Friday & Saturday) in every week should be declared as a *campaign days* for all lovers of better Nigeria to wear the APRON and evangelise this course.

With the invention of the APRON, youths and other Nigerians across all local government will meet to hold meeting and evangelise the mission to rescue Nigeria through Sowore.

Apart from aforementioned big signpost in all local government, there should be deployment of another set of big banners in all market squares across the villages and cities of Nigeria

Further consultation should be forwarded too:

MY SLEEPLESS NIGHT

Good morning my fellow comrades.

I have a sleepless night and this strong concern for our dear country. Thank God for ANY, we all need to rise and make use of this opportunity to convince NIGERIAN in showing them the way.

The truth is Nigerians have lost HOPE, hardly will we see
70% of Nigerians that have interest in election. Most belief PVC power is a scam, some will tell you it doesn't work and even if it works, no POLITICIANS has good mind for our dear country other than their selfish interest.

The question is, are we going to watch while Nigeria lies in doom?
All we need to do is to enlighten Nigerians that collectively, we can make a better Nigeria.
Of a truth, *ANY* doesn't have any candidates nor sponsors but we have vowed to educate and enlighten Nigerians especially youths to *get PVC and to vote out ANY existing POLITICIANS.* We want new persons, with good heart and good vision.

Another question is, who even say YOU CAN'T REPRESENT US at that political seat?

Politics / BREAK THEIR HEART...AS EKITI DECIDES by Sleemut09: 8:24am On Jul 14, 2018
Greetings to you in the mighty name and spirit of ONE NIGERIA.

Its no more a dream that gubernatorial election will be held today at our ancient state of EKITI thereby below lies ANY position as Nigerians decides on the fate of the state.

As widely known both home and abroad that we have two wild beast locking horn to win the power for their mega party. PDP candidate which FAYOSE fights for and APC candidate which FAYEMI contests for.

The question is, are they the only contesting candidate for the gubernatorial election? ....NO

Thereby, as the objective and focus of ANY it will do us good if the good people of EKITI STATE can vote out this two political parties and VOTE in a neutral man(perhaps a youth) from another party

It has been gazetted that this selfish politicians has been paying #4,000 to EKITI PEOPLE to win their heart for their candidate. But we all need to wise up that it's a bait and investment for them strategies in buying out the fate of our dear state.

*Please share this as wide as possible and convince NIGERIAN that we can get a new NIGERIA if we can break the heart of all old and existing POLITICIANS.*

Romance / Re: Recharge Card Printing Business For My Boyfriend: What's Your View On This? by Sleemut09: 8:54am On Jun 15, 2018
Avedonn:

I suggest he start animal fattening since he resides in the north where animals are cheap.

He can purchase malnourished goat or ram and rear them for 2 months and sell them off.

Malnourished goat would be around N6000 and he'll sell at N12000 after two months.

While ram cost about N15-18,000 at present and sell them during Moslem ilaiya period for N40- 50,000. The sallah would come up around August I guess.

40 malnourished goat will cost N240,000
Selling price after two months of fattening that's N12,000 × 40 = N480,000

*Note: the selling price may be more than N12,000

While for Ram, N18,000× 15= N270,000

Selling price N40,000× 15= N600,000 in two months time.

Since he resides in Abuja, he can purchase the livestock at any of the neighboring villages or Niger state.

You are indeed a woman of substance because it's hard to come across a lady willing to support her boyfriend just like how you are doing.

If he prefer cash crop business, let me know so that I'll give you the breakdown and the processes.
