Hello Gurus in the house. Is it true that some visa application you don’t get decision email from ukvi only collection email from TLScontact?

Any idea on the time frame from decision made to actual collection at TLScontact centre?

Finally got the mail for collection of my passport today.
Went to TLS to pickup my passport

Biometrics was done on 3rd September 2021
TLS Mail for Passport pick 5th October 2021
Proposed date to travel has passed
Visa was issued.

10 years Visit Visa Issued.

Bro that's a long process. My advice, look for agencies and apply through them. It's faster and less stressful but most pay minimum wage 7.50 pounds.. Goodluck

In my best of knowledge u just need to submit the documents your school listed on your CAS letter or ask documents you used in securing the offer. As for the cv that's not necessary becos there's not much gap btw your previous studies which was in 2015 and this now in 2017.
Necessary docs including
CAS letter
Documents used in securing your offer.That's academics docs
Tuberculosis cert from IOM
Int'l passport
When you start your application online there are some other print outs you also need to submit.

Lastly, you bring sponsored by your parents, is the fund in your parent's account or yours?

I have been a silent follower of this thread and it has been really helpful to me so far. I have gotten an admission into the University of Greenwich for a PHd program. My 28 days is still counting, my research starts in December. I have earlier studied for a masters degree in the U.K. In 2015. Please house I want to know the necessary documents I should submit, I am sponsored by my parents. And also I have not worked since I got back to Nigeria.

Do I need to submit a CV. Please guys I need your help.

The British embassy uses oanda exchange rate so I guess ireland would do the same, I advice you do the same. Also try adding excess becos of the fluctuation in currency.

That's because the cash you have available in your account is not sufficient enough to carry out the transaction. Top up your account and retry out mor better still call your bank and explain to tell they would tell you the exact cash in naira you need to have in your account. Because the ihs and visa fee are both in dollar..

And also probably you have exceeded the bank's monthly $1000 limit

Nah.. for super priority interview isn't done. But in my case I was called the follow day for a phone interview and questioned about the relationship between my previous course and the present one, actually they were opposite to each other. In most cases super priority no interviews but I advice u to be prepared just incase u're called upon.

Bro it was me,i asked the question both justwise and mimilyrics answered the question. Like you said if the money is still intact in the acct try applying using the super priority it takes two days. That's what I used..

I just had to sign up to answer you. If I'm not mistaken, I think @justwise and @mimilyrics mentioned same to either @ Sleyflash or @Question1.
Your administrative review will still come back with the same result. This is because according to how bank statements function, the 1st day after your deposit is when the money starts counting as officially being in your account.
Your opening account for the 27th was your previous balance. Only your opening balance on the 28th reflected the deposit so your count should have started on the 28th. You had the money in your account for 27 days before printing.
If the money is still intact in your account and you still have time, ask your school for a new CAS and print your statement from when you submitted your previous application till let's say Tuesday (if you're submitting a new application on Tuesday) and use super priority if possible.
Explain your error in counting.
Seeing that the money was untouched all through will be proof that you truly had the money for your use and that the error was genuine.

Sorry about the visa refusal.. I read through the thread and also asked the same question before I applied.. the eco are interest with the opening balance reflecting at the top not the day u deposited. After you deposit the opening balance would reflect the next day. You start your count from the next day after depositing.
I don't think administrative review would with becos its your mistake not the eco's.
But all is well..
Pls for others applying always ask questions, no question is stupid when your visa is at stake..

I went to pick up my visa today ...... I was denied visa. I checked the reason for refusal and it came from the disparity in the dates. I started counting from the time when the money entered into the account (27th july-23 aug). I paid for piority service and applied for my visa on the 25th of aug, I got a mail that it has been received on the 28th of aug. I didnt hear anything again and had to call on the 13th of sept. I also called again on the 20th and was told no decision yet, I was asked if I wanted to escalate which I accepted. I got an email yesterday (21/09/2017) dat decision had been made and I just picked it up some few hrs ago (22/09/2017) . The reason for refusal is solely my fault which I admit. The eco statement says I didnt hold the money for up to 28days, which means I shd have started counting from the 28th of july and not 27th when the money entered into the account.I hope this will help someone out there too wanting to apply for visa. Pls double check ur date n if u r not sure pls ask some one and be sure. Thanks

It is a sad circumstance but you've got to be strong. My application was refused because my Tuberculosis Test Certificate wasn't from the approved center. Had I know there are approved centers, I'll carry out the test there.

Nah.. aside super priority you would still need to post normal visa fee and IHS..

i just successfully made the payment for the super priority using the same dollar card but the charge was kinda outrageous

Payment not working? happened to my friend last week. Try using internet explorer as the browser to pay.

if it doesn't work, try paying at the submission centre. Though you still ave to use their own computer there.

Yeah I have paid for the application and now I am limited to ikeja appointment. All that is left is to make payment for the added value service (super priority).
But I'm still trying with my dollar card
