Please anyone that can advise slimdollar: Hello everyone. Please kindly advise. I cancelled my application a day to my biometrics due to an error on the form (spouse DOB) which i shouldn't have done. I went for my biometrics and got a mail it has been sent to DMC. Meanwhile, I didn't get any mail as regards the success of the cancellation request, I reached out to UKVI but they said I can change my request not to cancel anymore. I later got a mail that I cannot get a refund as I have provided my biometrics and my application is in progress. I thought everything is fine but I think I am wrong as I got another mail saying that since I made a request for refund, my application is now voided. Please what can I do? |

cheerokee: Regular cadets are to resume 4th of January, and usually SSC cadets do resume a week after so, let's watch out. The list should be released this week, and probably a week grace to prepare and resume. . Not confirmed though, just my speculation True.. this week isn't too late. Then s week to prepare. Resumption should be 11th then |

explosiveskull: Hope you didn't take any of those yabs to heart cos I was actually teasing you and at same time be funny. You later on pulled out of the race? Army doesn't disqualify one cos of scars as far as it ain't fresh, do you know I saw someone wearing plaster of Paris on the neck at ibadan, there is this Lagos girl who fainted when we were sitting under the sun at command secondary school and another one with scrambled leg that was brought with ambulance to join us to do the race. I wouldn't forget that during the race some of my state girls who were suppose to be in the 4th box were given tag for 1st and 2nd box by their soldier friends, when you talk of bottom power, but na for pull up and vertical climbing amadioha punish them. One big kogi guy was given a simple job(punishment) to carry one of his legs with one hand behind and hop with the other one but this guy couldn't move a millimeter, the board secretary immediately called the attention of the pt soldiers to be aware that the guy ain't fit. The time they were calling names for those that failed medicals, I already removed my chest number to give it to them because if you waste time removing the chest number, they'll embarrass you. In that our psychology questioner, in the drugs section I ticked everything NO but when I went for personal psychology evaluation with major adannu or so, he was doubting that I've never smoked before so I heard to appeal to his empathy and conscience, I told him that the reason I ticked all NO is cos I don't want to be judged based on mere paperwork, that I knew I will be called and that I'll face him eventually, that I was looking up for the opportunity to defend myself as that was one of the reasons I was evicted in SSC 44, that I was trying to explain to the psychologist that the last time I smoked was in 2011 but that the psychologist still haunted me down and that am appealing to his heart not to do same, he asked me if I've taken weed before which I said no that it is only cigarettes. I was surprised that some people were called later on and their urine checked for opiods and cannabinoids but I wasn't called. . . In effect, if God wants to do something for you, he doses it cleanly tht you won't stress yourself. For now am expecting the list by 20th or 22nd of this month cos it will determine how my Christmas will be like. All true..I was called back for drug test (our urine was collected and we tested it ourselves). Then the psychologist assessed it. Some of us were asked to go back and join our colleagues. While some were asked to wait behind. I later saw those ones among us. They weren't disqualified. He just wanted to affirm things |
