rollout40: Outstanding wetin? Where was the support during the last elections? How many of his candidates won?
Go and ask Ngige how he struggled to defeat Akunyili with all his popularity! Truth remains, Obi controls Anambra politics as of now.

Onlytruth: I know within my heart that the Igbo nation would rather vote for a GEJ presidency under which Igbo are gradually but steadily taking back their rightful positions in MANY national spheres, than to rush into a second fiddle VP position in a party formed by die hard tribalists and religious extremists; those who see the East as a conquered territory.
I guess this would start to become obvious to all after the APC presents its presidential candidate. A lot of Igbo are still quiet because it is still very early days.
BTW I like all these political "conundrums" provided that "okuko na akpa nri, anya uhie akokwala ya o" -the chicken that is foraging for food must never lose proper side views!.
You are a true son of your father! Nalum aka

tomakint: I have a strong feeling burning deep inside of me that 'the demonic spirit of Amnesia' has taken over the brains of our youths, never willing to learn to from the staples of history as far as Nigerian politics is concern, perhaps it is madness or follow-follow spirit of nothingness, some don't even have a mind of their own. The norther region brought us as a Nation to this sorry state we now found ourselves but instead of these dots to learn the bitter lessons of history in the hands of these wasteful abokis and megalomaniacs northern elites class on us all, our youths have gone berserk again yearning for Buhari, Babangida, and the likes as if there are no sane minded, better politicians from the south! The truth be told, if by error of commission or omission power returns to the north, definitely Nigeria is as good as dead structurally, you can quote me cool
They will never learn! history is there for them to draw references from but no, they chose the "yes massa" lane. Every other region is busy scheming on how to bring gains to their tribesmen while some foo.ls are here yelling "One Nigeria"
PoliticsRe: The Desperation Of APC by slimghost(m): 5:58pm On Feb 18, 2013
Abagworo: Why all these Igbo this, Igbo that? It is getting boring. Everyone is talking about how to move Nigeria forward and you are here talking about Igbo.
Stop being ignorant Mr Man, nobody is talking about moving Nigeria forward. Everybody is looking after his and his tribesmen interest first. Tinubu and his cohorts felt marginalized under the present administration and felt the need to form an alliance to take power back. If its how to move the country forward, the Hausa/Fulanis should step aside for another alternative since their years of misrule put us into this mess in the first place. But No, for them, their people comes first before other Nigerians and thats why they need to have power back. Open your eyes nwokem

9ja_I_hail: Does it mean that any thread/post that does not support APC should be move to sports section? I still don't get what is shaking most of you about this APC who did not give a danm about igbos during their consultation time. I pray and hope most of you don't latter regret your actions. Mind you i am not totally against them but as long as igbos was not recognized during the time of their consultation, whatever any igbo is doing there he/she will end up been nothing but a boy boy or yes member to Tinumbu and his cohort.
Stop wasting your time on brainwashed fools. NASS just upped their allowances, none of the OPC members in the house fought against it and we are supposed to believe that GEJ and PDP are the problem? Secondly its obvious they never wanted igbos in their merger thats why they refused to consult us before dragging us into it. What beats me is how a shmuck that claims to have brains and supposedly igbo fails to see all these!
PoliticsRe: APC Will Win Anambra In 2014 – Okorocha by slimghost(m): 5:17pm On Feb 18, 2013
kutchs: Shouldnt this clown face the challenges of governing ImoState and leave Anambra alone? How is he even sure he or his APC will win Imo State when there‘s hardly anything tangible one can point at as his achievement in Imo?
Each time I remember the deceit, the pretence and the waste that‘s Okorocha I weep for my Imo State. Here‘s a man who came into office with so much goodwill but the much Imolites have got from him is radio/tv propaganda.

I beg my brothers from Anambra to disgrace this clown, put him where he belongs to (in the dustbin). He has no right to comment on Anambra politics, he should face his godamn job in Owerri
Dont worry, am sure Peter Obi must be laughing so hard wherever he is now! 2015 is around the corner!
PoliticsRe: APC Will Win Anambra In 2014 – Okorocha by slimghost(m): 5:08pm On Feb 18, 2013
Abagworo: I suspect you are chino or all those his monikers. That Okorocha chose APC over PDP for his political ambitions does not in any way mean he has sold Imo to Yoruba or anyone. After all Ngige won senatorial seat under ACN in Anambra and I have a feeling he will emerge the APC candidate for 2014. Ngige did in 2 years what Obi has not done in 7 years and hence is loved by his people.
Stop talking like a fool. i think i joined NL before you ape, so please respect yourself for once. Ngige is loved by his people and yet lost the gubernatorial election to Peter Obi. I wont argue this Ngie/Obi nonsense on NL anymore because back in Anambra, we know who has developed the state more. If Ngige dare come out under APC, he will be once again trounced by whoever Obi chooses. Go write it down somewhere, its just next year. Obi is not a noise maker or sycophant, dude knows his onion when it comes to politics.

Shea u guys hv bn telling us hw both 'weak' and 'clueless' GEJ is; hw come his candidancy (assuming he even decides to run) is suddenly given u guys acute heart attack. Shldn't you guys be happy that you wud likely go against a 'clueless' Presidential candidate in 2015, so can you guys can even 'disgrace him back to Otuoke village' as u guys hv bn telling us for almost a year. PoliticsRe: APC Will Win Anambra In 2014 – Okorocha by slimghost(m): 3:52pm On Feb 18, 2013
am still laughing hard here! I repeat, APC can only win Anambra with Peter Obi's help, quote me anyday. Rochas is yet to get the picture, and when he is done selling Imolites to the Yorubas and their born to rule Northerners, he would be left with nothing. Only a fool would call APGA a dead party. Dunno about any other state, but in Anambra, Obi still calls the shot. Yall will figure out in next years Gubernatorial election. Anambra politics has passed the stage of noise making and touting.
PoliticsRe: APC Will Win Anambra In 2014 – Okorocha by slimghost(m): 11:29am On Feb 18, 2013
Abagworo: Obi is not contesting and I'm not saying APC will win. I only said Anambrians will defend their votes in 2014 while Abia might still be in a "siddon dey look" situation.
I never said he is contesting, but for sure, he is the APGA real leader. APC would find it difficult to win Anambra if they don't have Obi on their side, trust me. Dude has never been a noise maker, he is a smooth operator and if you understand Anambra politics well, you would surely know the kind of power he wields.

okosodo: Some people might be doing well, but may have the wrong ideologies. Ibos should not follow okorocha as he may lead them the same way azikiwe did............ To slavery
And who told you that Rochas is representing Igbos? shocked shocked FYI, dude is just there to represent his selfish interest. We are still waiting for both PDP and APC to present their candidates first.

PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by slimghost(m): 10:50am On Feb 18, 2013
Am yet to understand the difference between PDP and APC because 80 percent of APC members are the people that lost their mojo with PDP. Its just a case of, lets grab power back at all means but the SE/SS aint falling for this.
PoliticsRe: APC Will Win Anambra In 2014 – Okorocha by slimghost(m): 10:43am On Feb 18, 2013
Abagworo: I'm sure Anambrians will fight like Imolites in 2014 to defend their votes. I'm still skeptical about Abia but APC will go places in 2015 if they remain united.
Forget what you read on Nairaland. Am from Anambra and ii can tell you that its almost impossible to wrestle power away from Peter Obi. Dude has outstanding grass-root support.
PoliticsRe: APC Will Win Anambra In 2014 – Okorocha by slimghost(m): 10:40am On Feb 18, 2013
berem: abeg go siddon! you and all the Anambra Supremacists on this forum including your sellout of a governor should all go to hell! By the time Jonathan looses the presidential primaries come 2015,Peter Obi will be left to lick his wounds. angry
You sound so frustrated! you and your kind are the real sell outs. We are waiting for you and your OPC come 2015!

PoliticsRe: APC: Ngige For President by slimghost(m): 7:27am On Feb 18, 2013
CyberG: LOL...first they "demand" the presidency, no one answers them! Then, they mouthed off Rochas, 2 years governor, unproven and yet to accomplish anything significant, their silliness was exposed, now Ngige who was booted out of governor's house after signing an oath with the Uba criminals; and you think Nigeria still needs a person with criminal values as president? You people are just too funny, in a horrible and pitiful way!
Criminal Values u say? Then it means APC was built on Criminality as it has Tinubu as a leader. You are just a born tribalist, you should be ashamed of urself.
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Contempt For Yoruba, Nigerians, Says ACN. by slimghost(m): 11:45pm On Feb 17, 2013

PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by slimghost(m): 11:01pm On Feb 17, 2013
zanga420: yeah, will they no, see dont deceive me with this buhari will do this magic n ribadu will do that, all gimmick is to get power back to the north n our journey into blindness n backwardness will continue. If north n west really meant good for this nation staying out of power for like 12years n be properly supportive wont be bad, so we can see what other regions can offer no they wont, rather causing problem n distracting development cos they want power for selfish purposes.
You have said it all! If they truly love Nigeria, let them stay out of power. After all they put us in this mess in the first place with many years of misrule!
PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by slimghost(m): 10:20pm On Feb 17, 2013
klerry: Until we let go of thsi tribal and religious sentiments, we can never have a new Nigeria. If a Southerner, Northerner or whosoever can deliver us from dis mess we are in, so be it. Be it a muslim, christian or atheist, as long as he's able to transform Nigeria and allow us remain as a unit. All we want is positive change!
Let's get rid of the sentiments!
No actually, all we want is Equity, justice and fairness OR be allowed to go our separate way! We are tired of hearing this your "one Nigeria" BS while a particular tribe feels they can lord it over us. Rubbish
PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by slimghost(m): 10:01pm On Feb 17, 2013
lagbaja: People don't seem to realise that a lot has changed and is changing about Nigerian politics. Current Nigeria'w demographic statistics shows that it is majorly made up of youths (youth within the voting age bracket account for more than 60%. 45 million Nigerian youths are connected to the internet and are daily fed with current information. Religion and Ethnicity won't be very important in the next dispensation. Credibility and Capacity will be the determinat. This will be judged by the candidates's antecedents and campagin creativity. Abiola and Kingibe were both muslims. They won their election on the eve of the elections at the debate. Tofa lost because he had nothing to offer. With adequate information and free/fair elections, nigerians are smart enough to choose the right leaders come 2015.
Hahahahahahahaha. You are quite ignorant! The same youths you are talking about are the ones that feel their future has been short changed with a certain tribe in power! Fool yourself anyhow you want but come 2015 No Northerner is getting any block votes from SE/SS. Quote me

PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by slimghost(m): 8:59pm On Feb 17, 2013
Bikonu let me ask! Are you bloody tribalists trying to tell me that amongst all the good men of APC, there is no competent leader of Igbo extraction? Why not field him for equity and fairness sake? Or is Tambuwal better than Utomi? Or Ribadu better than Ngige? Igbos are just looking at this deceitful alliance and laughing hard! See u guys in 2015
PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by slimghost(m): 8:46pm On Feb 17, 2013
Fantacy1: And u tink it's only in d North and Islamic community dat u can always find d rite person 4 d rite post? U had beta tink twice and drop tribalism and born 2 rule mentality behind...
Stop minding the clowns! What happened to Ngige,Fashola,Utomi?
PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by slimghost(m): 7:50pm On Feb 17, 2013
After all this noise, we are waiting for APC and Tambuwal come 2015. No northerner other than Buhari or Ribadu can dislodge PDP! Otherwise, its GEJ till 2019. And even at that, am a realist, so I say it as it is. It will be extremely difficult for any Northerner to get block votes from SE/SS. That's the truth, you guys should stop deceiving yourselves.

Happy? Maybe! The North should have let GEJ have his one term in peace so he wouldn't have any excuse for failing. Nothing North will appeal to SE/SS, we were not born to be under them!
