Eziachi: I think we have moved on, but moving on doesn't mean wiping your brain memory bank clean. Forgiving is not the same as forgetting because if you forgive and then dumb enough to forget, you will be a victim of the same thing again.

Not only on Aburi they renegade, their brother Sani Abacha agreed with Abiola to steady the ship and then hand over to him but he ended sitting tight, planning to be life president and then his sidekicks killing Abiola and his Mrs too.

So that another aspect of them not that keen in keeping agreement in the present, not just in the past.
Thank you my brother. This is much more beyond GEJ and 2015. These people think we are fools with failing memories? They hv never kept an agreement with the south e.g Aburi and Abiola and they expect GEJ to keep this? Funny! They are just about to hand the presidency to GEJ till 2019

mikeansy: Go read my post I have at no time said the South East will vote overwelmingly for a Northerner

I said IBB would have given GEJ a run for his money in the East compared to how Buhari did

IBB is just not like every other Northerner
Please what makes IBB an extraordinary Northerner? Kindly enlighten me on that pls. Thank you

mikeansy: If you do your research very well you will realise that the very civil war sentiments you want to talk about does not spare Jonathan either. The only true allies we had in that war were the Calabar people or the Ibibios. Forget all the silly talk about Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, people still also remember the role played by the Ijaws in the war. And yes While people see the need to stand by Jonathan to reject any born to rule mentality from any region people know that we can not support Jonathan forever if he has proven in office to be dumb and weak.

Go arround the East and ask questions. The novelty of having a President Jonathan Goodluck from Bayelsa has since washed away and people are asking whether the President they elected is up to the job? The suggestion that in 2015 people will forget their pockets and their personal economy and vote for a President who has achieved nothing in the 5 to 6years he has been office is very disrespectful of Ndigbo. It just wont happen, if there is anything I can boast of as an Igbo man it is the ability for people in the East to think for themselevs and stand boldly for what they believe in against all odds. The idea that Jonathan will be re-elected in 2015 or supported in the East for the sake of just wont fly with most people.
My brother, I don't care abt GEJ. I for one don't think he is a competent leader. But you idea of SE voting overwhelmingly for a Northerner reeks of absolute ignorance. With statements like this from Aliyu, the igbo lives lost up North to bokoharam and the fact that we are still to have an Igbo president, no sensible igbo would vote for any Northerner. What happened to Fashola,Utomi? Pls let's be real here. In a free and fair elections, no Northerner would get 25 percent of SE votes. FACT
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by slimghost(m): 7:04pm On Feb 16, 2013
van bonattel: GEJ will always be popular than any northern or western politician in SS, SE. Even if Obama is contesting as a northerner, he will not get any vote from SE.
Don't mind the clown! Its so obvious he knows nothing about SE politics
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by slimghost(m): 7:02pm On Feb 16, 2013
The North should have let GEJ have his single term in peace. That way, he wouldn't have any reason for failing. The North has got it all wrong this time around, and to even think GEJ still has 2 more years to go. Why are they jittery? Aint they the real king makers again? They will surely receive some rude shock come 2015. APC should just present a credible Southerner or else....its GEJ till 2019
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by slimghost(m): 6:54pm On Feb 16, 2013
mikeansy: All you have done is spew abuses, you have not made any sensible argument about what it is you know . . .you have not told us why GEJ will be popular in the South East in 2015.

This is what empty heads do, they abuse others without presenting an alternative view.

trust me it is cheap to call others fool or ask them to shut up. Make a coherent politcal argument if you are wise?

I wont hold my breadth because I know you will not come up with anything sensible
I will give 2 reasons why its near impossible for any Northerner to pull tangible votes from Southeast!1. Their born to rule mentality
2. The Civil war and what came after it. Honestly I don't need to break these points down for you. God knws am not a tribalist but that's just how most Southeasterners feel. Trust me. As for your IBB, what do u think made him to abandon his ambition in 2011? The staunch condemnation and outcry (especially from SE) that followed his declaration was enough to tell him more abt his popularity. You should do ur research well b4 coming here to spew nonsense

Dude once again, STFU! IBB is not popular in the SE by any means, stop spewing rubbish. When we even declared his intention of running in 2011, there was even a demonstration against it. Do your research well b4 saying what u know nothing about. Am from SE and I can boldly tell u that IBB aint popular here
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by slimghost(m): 6:06pm On Feb 16, 2013
mikeansy: U guys have no clue about South East Politics

The reason GEJ got a block vote in the East is because he was running against Buhari. . . . a good percentage of vote is a vote against Buhari rather than a vote for GEJ

I can bet you that if GEJ was running against IBB, IBB would have gotten a large chunk of the vote.

If an alternative and reasonable candidate emerges in 2015 GEJ will definitely fail in the East like most of Nigeria.
Dude STFU! IBB my foot, just discuss what u know and leave southeast politics which u obviously know nothing about! No Northerner can get any reasonable amount of votes in SE right now. Go figure

PoliticsRe: AFCON Cup Glory: ACN Slams President Jonathan by slimghost(m): 6:29pm On Feb 11, 2013
dayokanu: Does it make sense for President Retardeen to be attending Obasanjos owmbe when the eagles were playing a nations cup final?

There are photos of him shinning teeth like a moroon that he is with OBJ when he should be somewhere in SOuth Africa
Am not holding briefs for GEJ, but am disappointed with ACN! You dont try to score cheap points on every issue, they should learn to know when to speak and when to keep shut!
PoliticsRe: AFCON Cup Glory: ACN Slams President Jonathan by slimghost(m): 6:22pm On Feb 11, 2013
dayokanu: The ACN is on point here when the reetardd of a President found it more appropriate to attend OBJ owambe instead of the Super Eagles that affect all Nigerians
Dont you think childish and senseless criticisms like this make people not to take the opposition serious? What happened to constructive criticisms? am really appalled. ACN should pls comport themselves for once.
PoliticsRe: AFCON Cup Glory: ACN Slams President Jonathan by slimghost(m): 6:16pm On Feb 11, 2013
berem: Very misleading topic! I don't see anything wrong with Lai Mohammed's comment. It's better the president never promised to go to South Africa than promising and fail at the end. Well am not surprised. that's his usual style of leadership. Promise and Fail Syndrome. The Eagles might have lost if he was there...who knows! God can work in mysterious ways you know! grin
just STFU for once! Must you idi.ots try to score cheap political points with everything? this is irritating for God's sake. Has the man come out yet to give his reasons for failing to keep promise? why not wait until you hear his side of the story before shamelessly jumping on his back? damn
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by slimghost(m): 6:12pm On Feb 11, 2013
Demdem: Actually, that piece of his isn't just amazing but excellent. He is so on point. Bottom line, igbos should go back to the drawing board, re-strategise, work hard with the aim of securing the presidency. Demanding such from those that started from scratch is simply foolish..
Nobody demanded anything from anybody.A condition was just handed out to APC. Either they take it or leave it, no need having an orgasm about it! Come 2015, y'all would be surprised how the game changes.
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by slimghost(m): 4:29pm On Feb 11, 2013
CyberG: Let them go and work hard just like it has taken ACN years to get to its present status! Even OBJ disrupted the momentum of the then AC, and they lost all progress from 99 in 2003 but what did the core of the party do? They learned from it, re-innovated the strategies working in the trenches and being patient and steadily winning progress back to its followership. For Buhari and his team, they were trying hard and when Buhari contested the election and was rigged-out, was it not an ibo VP Eme Uzoeke that jumped ship to the PDP even before the court cases were decided? Before you know it, they were scheming out the arrow-head of their party but what did he do? Take it on the chin and then formed CPC with some of his core loyalists and make entreaties to the people and he came away winning all the states in the North. Now this 2 come together to synergize, should they now abandon their work, the people who believe in them, more than half of all the states in Nigeria to pander to iboz who will surely betray them? iboz control only 5 states; 35 - 5 = 31! Those 5 states will not be won anyway because iboz are clannish voters who will take any financial inducement or empty promises from any politician - cutting of their nose to spite their face!

If Buhari / Fashola are nominated and they work very hard and ARE still rigged out, guess what? Life will continue but I am sure neither of those 2 will suffer personally or economically! I myself will be here to check in on you guys and have a good laugh at your legendary stupi.dity!
The rantings of a frustrated soul grin grin grin. Funny enough you think you wrote an amazing piece right? kid
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by slimghost(m): 3:55pm On Feb 11, 2013
CyberG: You must be REALLY a little silly kid if you think anyone is going to be crying except YOU when suffer-head follows with your destiny! Ha...I carry a different passport than your sorry as.s and unlike you and the people who will suffer, I could be at almost anywhere on this planet only by purchasing a flight ticket, does that sound like someone who will be crying when Nigeria votes their usual piss-poor national leaders? Did I not breeze into Nigeria during the holidays and see how almost the average Nigerian perpetually seems to be angry and frowning just by the look of his face? Ha...that is not what I see here everyday and most people are at least happy enough not carrying the gloom imposed by the useless government on their head! I challenge YOU, VOTE RETARDEEN, see if I will still not enjoy even a better life than I am now!
Son, i dont discuss politics with infants! Continue with your hopeless, hate filled life.
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by slimghost(m): 9:50am On Feb 11, 2013
Demdem: Abegii, free me with ur igbo cause. Let the Igbos do whatever they want to do (vote the retardeen) and leave the rest of Nigeria to do whatever they want to do. The rest of Nigeria has no issues with such (muslim/muslim) but the Igbos has, so because of that u expect us to jettison it even if we are much convinced that this is the best alternative for now.
APC has no obligation to Igbos but to Nigeria first, his loyals second and igbos. Igbos will not be given any preferential treatment not even in an arrangement they intend dismantling with their support for the retardeen and his killer goons.
GOOD! See you in 2015!!! grin grin grin grin grin. Dont cry "rigging ooo" grin grin grin grin. NB: I never asked for "preferential treatment" but an EQUAL opportunity which your Fulani/Hausa/Yoruba leadership have denied us for a very long time. Nna biko, i dont like GEJ's government as a Nigeria, but as an Igbo, am so loving it. SS/SE will never trust a merger full of selfish crooks. Go ask Oshiomole. See you in 2015

PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by slimghost(m): 9:38am On Feb 11, 2013
Demdem: ^^^^

Even with the above Buhari/fashola is still a better choice. An insincere, dumb and focusless leader whose friends in government includes killers the likes of Tompolo, Ateke etc Liars like Abati, okupe etc subsidy thieves like Wogu, stella etc is a turn-off for me. Above all, the killer party must be booted out. wont even bother to start listing their atrocities. Goodluck to u.
Buhari/Fashola ticket is a good one no doubt, but still Igbos would find it very difficult to give them their votes against someone who is trying to integrate them into the political mainstream of this country. We have had it rough with Fulani/Hausa/Yoruba leadership in the past, so what makes you think we can trust these ones? What APC need to do is show Igbos that they have their interest at heart and that they would be given EQUAL opportunity to excel in all fields of life in this country!
