There is a difference between indictment and conviction.
The query in 2003 or so that cleared Tinubu was on conviction. The US embassy was asked if he is an ex convict which they replied in the negative.
Tinubu is not an ex convict. He was indicted on drug and money laundering related crimes.
The feds have about 95% conviction rate if they ever go to trial.
So Tinubu was smart enough to take the deal. The documents are all well archived here and in the public domain.
So next time you fools want to confuse yourselves and your slow followers, query about his indicted, not conviction.
