Using the 1% STR there is high probability that you'd sell 0.7 of these names in a year or maybe 1 in 2 years. To increase your chances increase your premium portfolio to 200 to guarantee maybe 3 sales in a year. IMHO

Please it is not advisable to change your payout currency after immediately after landing a sale.
I made this mistake yesterday and I am yet to receive my payout. I change my payout option from Bitpay to Grey then USD to GBP.
Now Dan is saying we have to wait for the money to return.

Has anyone experienced this before? Please how long did it take to get everything resolved?

I've never experienced this before. I change my payout option anytime a sale comes in to meet my current needs. Never had any issue. I guess it has been resolved. Apologies for the late response

Few months ago, probably about one long month ago, I didn't made a sale. But am not sad about it. However things turned around from early August when I made a sale of sundialai.com for $799. After that, on Aug 17th , I sold fairwayheating.com $578. Then last month, sold NorthAndCompany.com for $250. All with a total investment of not less than $30 USD. From that early August to September, I made more than #1.2m aside commissions. You can do the calculations.

But you need to work smart and be ready to INVEST. Don't buy craps and be expecting to sell it tomorrow.

There are some sales I never expected coming that happened.

Domaining is an investment. Buy quality domains, list for sale at Dan.com. (it's enough because of the distribution network) do outbounding if you can, wait for sales. And while waiting for sales, buy more domains if you have the funds.

You need trainings and mentorship? Visit julanky.com. Then be ready to learn and follow guidelines during and after the course with humility.

About to do 3rd follow up for my names today, but the mystery here is that I keep getting higher open rates (10-20%) and the click rate is decent enough but the sale is not just coming through.

-I've been asking for an offer, no price stated at all.
-I don't think the names, or subject line, or signature or even my content here are the issues, my major reference for outbounding is Yogi's books.
-I just finished outbounding for a set of decent names about 15+ with no single sale. Mixing Alex Vardea (he gives the price from start) and Yogi style. Won't lie, I had just one low ball offer $200 which I counted. He ghosted me. Never heard from him again despite doing so many follow ups. $200 is a very good offer for a Geo name and you should take it ooo (That's $120k). Do not get carried away by huge sales here o.

Before you accept or counter an offer, consider the domain name, cost of service they render, size of the company submitting the offer and most importantly your financial situation.

Please, I made a research and got a domain name with a convincing SV and CPC on ED.

However, the one with an upside arrangement has a better SV and CPC than the other.
Example,

LagosBreadSeller = SV 20 CPC $2.9
WHILE
BreadSellerLagos = SV 260 CPC $11.77

I used other tools and got almost the same figure.

Please do note the Lagos bread seller isn't the domain name.

I'm a Newbie and this will be my 1st domain if it passes my 'test'.

I'd dig deeper to check which has backlinks or was used as a website previously using archive .org which ever gives a positive feedback I'd take. But I always prefer geo+keyword first, keyword+geo abbreviation, keyword+geo in that order

I was working full time and domain was my side hustle until covid struck. During the lockdown I realised I was making my salary which was 150k at the time just outbounding. I also got to learn the reason I wasn't successful prior to that time was my outbound timing. I work 8 to 8pm six times a week, so I only sent mails at the close of work on my way back home sticked in lekki Ajah traffic (Terrible experience).

But covid made me realize if I start outbound from 1pm to 7pm the response rate would be higher and I was closing more deals. By 7pm I was just in time to compete in the drops from expireddomains .net. These little things made me realise all the knowledge I gathered from this thread were valuable, I just never really had the time and opportunity to put them into practice this it influenced my decision to resign in June last year and I went full time into domains. Since then I've just had 3 months without sales but other months cover up for it if you know learn money management.

At first I was ok with $400 monthly but I saw I had more time in my hand to make more and this has kept me motivated. On the average since June 2020 I make $700 to $1k just doing domains even with 3 months of no sale cos there are months I've made $2k, $3k, and $5k

Do I regret resigning?

Hell NO!!! My family, friends and colleagues were scared for me, some felt I was making a stupid mistake but my wife trusted my decision and stuck with me and I'm glad Jehovah made our plans turn out successful. Without Jehovah, Boss Iykepromotions and my Bosses I mentioned earlier I would still be in lekki traffic

If you believe you can succeed in domain investing and you our in the work, you are definitely going to be successful.

Say the name of my enduser is Taofeeq A Bello. After scrapping for the company email using snovio.. it brought about 5 different emails, made up of that name.

Is it ok to outbound to all the emails address I got made up of that name with the hope that one of then will reach the CEO himself. Or will that be considered as spamming also and probably annoy the end-user.

If you are using Gmail app once you enter an email, it indicates if the email is correct. For all I know most of the emails will bounce, it's possible they change CEOs email to prevent spam, so just one would be correct
