I get it. How do you do your follow up for companies which the only means available to contact them is via their contact form.
You note them down and when you doing follow up with others you send them a follow-up email

Romance / Re: Should I Go Ahead And Marry Her With This Her Mindset? by slimjosh43: 8:42am On Dec 17, 2020
Anoymus:
I have a girlfriend I am meaning to propose to during the festive period, she's everything I want in a woman except few exception which might be a hindrance to the proposal.
Gist is, my babe is a graduate but lack of work made her to learn fashion designing, she's done with the training and she's very good with what she does.

After marriage, I have told her that I'll assist in her business, I'm planning to get a bigger shop space for her and equip it with modern day machines, tools and tailoring materials goods to help make her work lucrative. I'm budgeting about 1.2-1.5m for this.

The issue now is that, 3 days ago, I asked her what her role would be if eventually after marriage she gets the shop, equipments and all, where she would come in in terms of responsibilities in the house. Her reply was she doesn't want to assume any responsibility and that it's my duty to cater for the family and she can only help & I shouldn't make anything compulsory for her. So many thoughts came through my mind. One of it was that, where the proceeds of her investment would be going to if I should shoulder all the responsibilities in the house knowing fully well that she makes money.

I rang my mum and told her of her response, I was shocked that she backed her saying that I shouldn't have asked her to foot anything in the house that it was my sole responsibility as a man to cater for my family my wife inclusive. My dad too, same thing. Even told my gf mum about it too , she giggled and said I shouldn't have asked her n that it's my duty to provide for my family. They all sounded foreign to me. Or am I the one not understanding?

My question now is, why invest that kind of money in her when I'm not sure of getting little or nothing in terms in return help to run the family. That sum of money could get me 4 brand new bikes and 2 neatly used Keke Napep for transportation business. I'm sure I'll be getting returns from these investment weekly or monthly basis.

I don't want who wouldn't have any sense of responsibility at home after investing in her, even if she's covering 10% or 5% I wouldn't mind. Mere helping doesn't go down well with me, she might have and decide not to give out. I rather not invest at all and expect nothing from her.

I don't know if I'm the one over thinking this things or my parent and her mum aren't seeing things from my perspective or am I being inconsiderate?

Criticism, Insults and bashing are welcomed. Thanks

I think you were wrong asking. Women are committed to responsibility when they take it upon themselves to assist. Asking was not necessary a woman that loves you and marries you would definitely assist you without you asking as asking makes it seem like you are entitled which you are not.
It is the role of the man to provide for the needs of his family and the woman's role is to complement her husband.
Love would not make your wife see you get burned out just to provide for the family. To determine your future with her you need to ask yourself the traits she's exhibiting currently. Is she supportive both in words and action currently in your relationship if yes she'd still be if money enter her business.... Talking from experience

Yes I did.
Agreed payment thrice with buyers bailing out. It sold once on sedo for $5k which buyer failed to pay so it's been a long time coming

Bro my portfolio size is slightly above 1k, I think you guesstimated that 1743 figure wrongly by calculating all the numbers I mentioned above (please modify) but that's not the case here as most of the names listed at afternic are also in makeplaces like alter and squadhelp, which make up over 60% of my entire portfolio.
Hence to answer your question about renewal, i plan to renew 20% — 25% of the best names from my entire portfolio which amounts to 200 - 250 names minimum
By renewal fee calculation that is $8.50 * 250 = $2,125 (Annual renewal fee for 25% of the names) which might be 2/10th of my gross net profit . or on a worse case scenario if i decide to renew 50% of the names which is also likely, by renewal fee calculation will be $8.50 * 500 = $4,250 which is around a one third of my of my gross net profit . So that is my strategy and model and I feel everyone has theirs as well. In Domaining guess you don't just renew everything in your portfolio, you renew your best names that's why it's a business and should be treated as one for accountability checks and balancing the books. Well u might then ask what happens to the rest of the names then, I'll drop many, and liquiduate many others for profit and so on. I hope that helps.

Peace smiley

Thanks alot I didn't factor in ability to list same domain on various marketplace. Success Boss!!!

Sales Report in the past 3 months

Rejuvida//dot//com

Sold Price : $2000
Reg Fee : $6.95(Sav)
Received : $1400 after commissions deduction
Sold Venue : SquadHelp
Sale Type : Inbound
Hold Time : 3 months

Innotera //dot//com

Sold Price : $1799
Reg Fee : $5.99(Dynadot)
Received : $1295 after commissions deduction
Sold Venue : SquadHelp
Sale Type : Inbound
Hold Time : 6 months

I've been a bit away for while because of project activities and other stuffs I'm handling outside Domaining so had little time to participate or focus on the industry activities that much.

On the sale of rejuvida that is a bit rare sale for a name with such combo because, "Vida" means life in Spanish and Portuguese and doesn't go well with most words, I guess the synergy between the prefix "Reju" which relates to "Rejuvenate" and "Vida" or "Life" made me pick up the name.

To summarize how the market have been so far, it's been pretty slow year majorly because of the pandemic effect and a slow progression in recovery by all sectors of global economy, hence most marketplaces have been dead for me this year, Afternic have been non-existent for me all year long probably because of alot of changes going on there this year and also because of my portfolio price increase there at the beginning th year with just 2 sales all year long, Dan have been pretty average too with just a Sale more than Afternic for me and with a portfolio of over a 1000 names listed names in both platforms, Squadhelp have been slow but pretty okay for me with roughly 7 sales this year with a current portfolio of 400 premium names.
BrandBucket have been overly ineffective for me all year long with just 1 sale there and over 120 names.
Brandpa have been under achieving with 0 sales in the past 18 months with just 23 names.
Just joined the new brand marketplace Alter and can't make much about them although currently owns around 200 names there and it's been 2 months there but nothing serious other than a lucky $700 sale for a name that was originally listed for $2000 but sale came as a make offer which I accepted... So can't make much of that.

So far so good is been a pretty unusual year with a mix of different factors influencing the market, but in all I give all the Glory to God who has been faithful.

Peace cool

Boss I wan be like you when I grow o. A portfolio of 1743 is no joke o. Just curious to know if you are in profit for the portfolio considering the fact renewal would be around 13k. I was thinking with a STR of 1% you should sell 10 more before the portfolio year runs out. Please I'm not probing you o, just want to know how profitable it'd be to scale up that fast.

Few Lessons for me last month:

1. I change the time I do my outbound from 2-4 pm to 8-10pm and I saw a little result. Though the formal is still my best period but I will be interchanging from time to time.

2. Follow ups and negotiation skills are very important. I keep learning it from people here each time I visit.

3. Source for leads from all angles.

4. Believe in your domains. I have strong feelings for some domains that they will certainly sale. I only renew domains that had received offer(s) in the past.

5. Don't use one sales letter. Have as many as possible and use the ones that are pulling sales often.

6. Continue to trust in God and work hard. No dulling.

Note: Please nobody should feel like l'm trying to show off. I strongly believe I am contributing my quota by dropping this sales report to guide others in knowing what can sell.

#peace

Success Bro

Just like in school. Some get it the first time, some will read many times before getting the gist of the very same info.

In all of these, the important thing is to Know Thyself.

Congrats for digging in.

I'd advise you read for weeks or a month before enrolling. This page, Namepros, etc., before any lecture. The lecture is not really in-depth and you may be pissed and disappointed at the lecture approach. Read first.
What exactly do you mean by the training is not in-depth
I think we should apply caution to the type of info we give people and the impression we are passing....
I have subscribed to OP's tutorial 3 times and benefited greatly from each session knowing new things.
If I feel I have to refresh my skills I'd apply again for his course.

The nature of the business (how financially rewarding. This is) and the name is it is in he right arrangement (this is) but how crane companies operate and whether websites add anything to their prestige is another thing I can't tell. I'd rate it at least $450. But that's a learner rating though, lol.

You just made sense
