I hope you get my drift. |
http:///uN2EU0, for those of you trying to apply from home try this and see. |
@ chiboy, it is when you arrive |
@ Kakashi, yes I agree there is racism but a lot of niajas are still here making it. It means that you have to be positive about coming and winning here,if not you forget it and look else where. Life generally is OK, as much as we know that some of our brothers and sisters are not doing well, a lot others are doing great also. As for the cost, you may have to talk to a travel agent but from my experience, budget between 400k upwards. |
@ chiboy, I must be frank,I have never met a Niaja lecturer here yet but I have met a friend on line who lives and teach @ a University in Oman some years ago. Then, he was telling me he needed to transfer to the UK. I do not think it is impossible. My advise would be for you to write directly to some of there schools using Google as a guide, to know if they have vacancies for your class of person. As for accommodation, getting it is not a task at all but you have to be on ground first to know what you really want. But you can visit dubizzle.com accommodation to get a valid and current price range of accommodation across the UAE. |
@ Shock, thanks for the compliment. For people like you, arriving the UAE from UK is a great deal because I know much value is placed on you guys and as such, both salaries and living conditions, are entirely different from people like me. hahahahaha. The cost of living is ok, foods are cheap, transport is ok except accomodation. Expecially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi its so high. You used dollars, I will use Durham's. For you to be able to save 6k dhs monthly, it means your salary should be between 15 to 25k dhs. This is because @ this level, you source your accommodation, transportation and feeding yourself. All in all, it depends on your kind of life style. If you are a heavy spender, shopping freak or moderate spender. For the mid level I cant say for sure, but for entry level I know its about 4 to 15k dhs depending on who gets the job. By that I mean, if its an Indian,African or Emerati To be frank, Niaja community is more of a disappointment than blessing because most of us, use our positions to dupe fellow naija and lead them astray. You hardly can find a sincere person willing to help freely, but when and if you do, you will be glad and happy you did. As regards association, the only one I know of is meeting in drinking joints and all. Maybe when you arrive you can begin to look at other perspectives. |
@ facosco, it is valid for 10 years. |
@ teetom, you can send me a PM here, then we can talk on yahoo. |
@ kakashi, it is easy and yet difficult. It all depends on your luck. you are not going to get an HSE job from your country because there are lots of professionals on ground looking for the same job. means that you will have a better chance when and if you are on ground. |
@ facosco. what exactly do you want from me. |
@ Mr mash, you can send me a PM here |
@ Nibblekenny, visa depends on your agent its from 300 dollars up like an agent told me, ticket VI's from 110 thousand niara depending on the airline and period of travel. As for job, yes you can get Asap if you are not choosy. |
@ bright499, you should be looking @ 1000 to 1200 dhs |
@ focosco, yes you can get a job on visit visa of 2months not the 2 weeks visa. As for gen mech, I don't know how possible because I have never seen them use one here before except on building construction sites. It means that getting a job as a repairer, will be very difficult my dear. I do not know how long it is, but I can find out if it so so. important to you. However, procuring one takes about 40 driving classes if you don't already have a valid niaja license, and about 20 classess if you have a valid license from home. The cost is about 5000 Durham's depending on the school and the class you need to attend. l |
@CBNIM, you are welcome. |
@ last messenger, there is no country in the world a foreigner will go to and be treated as though he or she an indigene . As liberal as America seem, there are Nigerians there who have spent 20years and yet cannot boast of anything tangible to show for it. Life happens to people differently and therefore you cannot use some ones fall or nagativity to judge an entire people or country. As bad as you think this UAE maybe, I have met Nigerians whose salaries are as high as 30 thousand Dirham's and also as low as 1000 dirhams . So it depends on fate and the will of God for ones life. So please don't discourage people who wants to earn a living here in the UAE. Not all UAE residents are failures OK? |
@ CBNIM, it depends on your kind of job and the company employing. But the starting point for most menial jobs like security, sales etc could be as low as 1200 dhs to 2000 dhs, with free transportation and accommodation |
@ Bright499,is your question directed to me or queenataba? If it is for me, I will tell you that for direct employment, you cannot get such salary unless baba God is really, really on your side. |
@ qualified, I have said that before but they wouldn't listen. Thanks anyways. |
Again? hahahaha, you guys should ride on. |
@ luggi007, for your field I would advise you check out job sites, it will help you see the kinds of vacancy that is posted, by that you will be able to know if your experience is needed any where in the Emirate, then you can apply. I say this because if you are on ground to look for this kind of job, you might not get it unless you are open to take up any other Job in lieu, then and only then will I advise you to be on ground before applying for job. |
@ omoteamac, you are very correct |
@ okeyz, you are very right. It is lack of job that make a lot of people settle for what ever job condition they see. |
@ Tunde 300us, you are right, that is why you see a lot of people accepting to be slaves outside the shores of there country because slavery is every where my dear. |
@ ustyno, God bless you. help me ask how she expects to get clients when she is already rude to me when I have not said any negative thing to her. she even threatened me. Na whaooo for some people o |
@ dtybabe, why don't you go to travel section and place your add. I am sure you will have more clients |
@ etech, I will not advise you to pay there are other sites you can also try am sure Google will help you out. |
@ oremisisan, you will have to hook up with some of the job sites listed above and much more from Google if you want to start applying from home. you can also send direct mails through the companies career portals if you find any one on Google search. |
