@ dytbabe, pls. open another thread for Dubai visa pls. there are lots of visa scammers here I don't want to be involved in it pls. |
@ jimmy, you need visa, ticket, and cash to live on for 2 months before you secure a job, it also includes your house rent, trans, cafe browsing etc |
@ eyfash, my brother I wish I knew, it would have been better to explain. I can't really say but what we see on ground here just suggest that they are racist as well. They hate us so so much my dear |
@ cabasa, flight cost varies from one airline to the other, but you can get from 120k to 300k depending on the season and the class. but try to use Etihad, Ethiopian and Rwandan airline these seem to be the cheapest |
@ Owaji, the wheather is as good as it can get. cold and hot. As we speak now the heat is gradually coming down BTW Nov thru Feb, it will be cold again. The most important thing to know is that no matter how hot it is, its only when you are outside, because every where here that is covered by roof, has Ac so u don't really feel the heat when you are indoors |
@Jimmy, there are jobs all over but my worry is blacks don't stand so much chance here to get the best positions except God is on your side. therefore, if you are lucky enough, you can get as soon as you arrive. you have to be on ground to apply check Google for UAE job sites like dubizzle, dubaijobs, naukri etc. |
@ facosco, yes you can, all what they are interested in is for you to have the gulf experience. I did not understand you second question when you come over you will understand better, if your contract expires, you are expected to take one month vacation in your country. If you don't want to renew your contract with them, you will still be given one month or so, to look for another job before the company will cancel your visa and your new employer will give you another visa. |
@ yemmyomis, for some companies especially free zone your vacation may be after one year, while for others like labour its after your 2 years contract. as far I know, most people go to the Philippines, Singapore, or any other near by country for their first vacation before attempting us or Canada for their 2nd VAC. this is because most people are denied these visas at first attempt. |
keep them coming |
@ atyodos, yes there are a few, but I do not have any contact with any of them. you may try getting more info from Google. |
@ omoteamac, there own foods are cheap. |
@ Misty, your chances are very high because they value their certificate s and those of the western world. |
keep them coming |
@ fashrules, you can PM me. |
@ fashrules, I have just listed some Job sites. As far am concern, no site is bad but the truth is getting a job from your home country is pretty difficult except you have a special skill that is scarce, and an employer is looking to fill such openings. Otherwise, you have to be on ground, to search for job personally. |
@ arkdiggs, the most popular job sites are dubbizle, dubaijobs, naukri etc.just make Google your friend in this regard. |
@ omoteamac, do you expect African foods to be cheap abroad? |
still waiting |
@ benzion72, most employ up to 40years but naturally they prefer younger dudes. Yes, your employer keeps your passport expecially if its a labour related company. Free zone companies don't . |
@ omotemac, a lot of people like Dubai because of its bubbly nature but then again if you follow the Ra's and the flex you may not have enough to save. If you look at it from that point of view, then You would naturally choose Abu Dhabi because there is no night life there an alcoholic drinks are not also allowed there unlike in Dubai and ajman. The cheapest market where most goods are bought and shipped to Nigeria, is in deira Dubai, so if you really know you want to go into that biz, then it will be better you live in Dubai to make shopping easy for you. After your contract elapses, you can find a job ASAP since you have gotten the almighty golf or UAE experience. And your new job certainly attracts new pay. |
@ shegzyvic, traveling abroad cost money, am sorry but even in Free town, nothing is free. Just work hard and put it at the feet of Jesus I am sure he will answer you sooner than you expect. |
@ omoteamac, yes you can. Food is cheap in the emirates so yes you can. As for trading, it is very easy all you need is time to go for market survey, know what you want to buy, buy it and send it home. But you have to be sure of your profit |
@ okeola, you should be looking @ between 80 thousand to 90 thousand dirhams. it all depends on the school. you may have to make Google your friend @ this point. |
@ Nellyquash, the security Job is like every other, if you are interested in it, while on ground, you will have to apply for it and if you are lucky to be selected, then you are good to go. Note that most jobs come with free shared accommodation and transport. |
@ chidamysy, if you want to get a job as a security or any other kind of job for that matter, you have to to arrive the UAE, and search for it yourself. There is also the possibility of getting direct employment from your home country, but it costs much more than coming to Dubai yourself. |
@ men a city, there are 2 ways to secure. job in Dubai. First is applying through UAE job sites for direct employment from your home country, and secondly, is to procure a 2 months tourist visa, arrive Dubai or any emirate of your choice, and search for job within the period of your visa. |
@aadejesu, your case is not different from the other professionals I have answered already. white collar jobs are not readily available but its possible. The key word is the God factor and luck. |
@ kingzyforpep, yes you can, but it means you have to live I'm Abu Dhabi since it is the hub of all oil companies in the UAE but if not, you can make do with other alternative jobs available. |
@ magic touch, yes you can get a job but it may not be related to your course of study. Yes it is favourable to ladies very, very favourable. |
