Educationalserv:Cassava/Garri, Vegetable leaves (water leave, guy leave, ewedu leave), Egusi, Yam, Cocoa, plantain, Banana, palm oil, Cat fish, Tilapia fish, Asa fish, Pig meat, snails, Kolanut and much more are gotten from the south. Most of our staple food, wish are mostly soups and garri/ akpu/ Amala, are produced locally. The oil revenue that funds Nigeria’s budget is gotten from the south, outside natural resources, revenue gotten from the ports are also from the south, Revenue from Vat and other source of taxes are also 80% from the south. So the question is what does Chad 2.0(northern region), contributes to Nigeria aside terrorism, extremism, kidnapping, destruction from herdsmen, political exploitation and corruption of the political class? I have nothing against the north but you started this. There are a lot of good and honest northerners but i won’t allow you disparage the south and act all high and mighty when i know that you are a parasite being spoon fed by the south. |
If you claim that the best grazing field are in the north, then why are the herdsmen violently and aggressively grazing their cows in the south. The pasture in the north during the dry season are basically non-existent. We’re talking about revenue generated by regions and you are talking about basic food crops agricultural produce, and it’s phantom % contribution to Nigeria’s economy. The south west is very fertile all year round. We are more focused on cashcrops production, same as the southsouth and southeast also. The exaggerated agricultural prowess of the north would at most have kept them at par with Niger or chad. Aside the much touted about agriculture, which is mostly and heavily subsidized by the revenue generated from the south, which other industry is the north making strides? Without the south, the north would have been a landlocked country without a seaport, paying heavily for imports and exports. Without the south, Nigeria would be an educational disadvantaged country, with over 99% of it’s populace being impoverish and malnourished. The main stay of the north has been government patronage, and even with that the north is still heavily impoverished. You claim to produce the food that feeds the nation, but the irony is that you are the region with the most population of starving and malnourished individuals in Nigeria. The funny fact is that the border needs to be closed for the North to even thrive agriculturally. Before the closure of the border, Rice and other food produce was a lot cheaper, so we can inadvertently say that the north is exploiting the south to sell their agricultural produce at an extortionist rate. The north needs Nigeria to survive. We have the money in the south and with or without the north we can afford to purchase our food from any part of the world. The north desperately needs the southern market to sell their produce. The basis for the amalgamation of Nigeria was for the British to develop the North with the revenue generated from the South. All the negative statistics of Nigeria are mostly so because of the retrogression of the North. I reiterate, without the south, THE NORTH WILL BE NIGER AND CHAD 2.0 Educationalserv: |

It’s obvious that you are a agent of disunity especially in these trying times. You know deep down that the south is the economic backbone of Nigeria. Look at Niger and Chad, without the south, the north will be Chad 2.0, with extreme poverty, religious extremism and terrorism on a daily basis. The so called farms in the north can’t run without consequential subsidy of over a trillion Naira yearly in fertilizers and other farming inputs. Then, you also have the herdsmen that destroys our farms down south, feeding on our yielding crops, killing our farmers and kidnapping southerners for ransom. If you continue with your submission, it will be obvious that the actions of the herdsmen is a northern agenda to ensure that they are the sole producers of food crops in Nigeria. Even your livestocks can’t survive without grazing in the south, just accept your reality that you need the south not to be impoverished and then we can work as a country utilizing eachother’s strengths instead of dwelling on ethnic and tribal agendas. We have survived this far as a country, but if you want to portray the false narrative that the south is dependent on the north, you know within you that you will be disgraced with factual data. So it’s best we focus on building national unity and forget about the drivels of divisionists |

i understand say nah fear dey do una like this but make una better prepare una sef for our response, una done show una hand finish and we now know your best tactics so make una go dey pray. you see why we are superior to y'all, we will take our time to respond because now there is nothing else you can do to harm us. we will manipulate the world media and use your blockade as a strategy to disarm and flatten you. we have too many ways to respond and we are not foolish to respond in a way that would our industry or business men. MAKE UNA FOR NORTH GO PRAY O, YOU HAVE SHOWN YOUR CARDS NOTHING ELSE REMAIN FOR UNA AGAIN |
Una funny sha, the yorubas never even react una done dey panic. we have our game up our sleeves we wont reveal our plans just yet. If the west sneezes the rest of Nigeria must catch cold. just to pique your memory remember the end sars protest. We dont need the northern food, if they do too much we will forcefully pry our numerous borders open and flood the market with cheap more quality food from our neighboring countries. No forget say nah we be gateway to Nigeria, or we blockade imports from going to the north. we are the throat of Nigeria, if we squeeze the country will die. we are just bidding our time and watching your foolery |
bigfish3k:the reality still remains that of all the major actors involved yorubas were still the least prepared. We were already battered from the awolowo vs akintola crisis, lagos(as the capital) and Ibadan were militarized and we all know that the majority of Nigerian forces at that time were northerners. One thing you need to understand about the yorubas is that we are rarely moved to act by emotions, we are more calculative and logical. The west and the east would probably have been victorious but it would have been at the expense of the west. Awolowo was only looking out for his people, you might call it betrayal, but he made the best choice for us with the reality he was facing. Why do you think the biafrian army’s first move was attempt to capture Lagos? It is the only logical step. Wars are not fought with wishful thinking they are fought with boots on ground and weapons. |
bigfish3k:they wouldn’t need to fight on two fronts, all they would have done is conquer lagos(the west) and from there proceed to the east. The easterners would have tried to intercept them before the even get to the Midwest, so the battle would have been fought majorly in the west. Remember they had influx of experienced ww2 soldiers from Chad and Niger, and most of the military formations in the west were already dominated by northerners. It is a no brainer that it would have been a disaster for the yorubas. |
okoroemeka:that is all bullshit talk, he should have supported you and declared war so that Yoruba land will be the battle field. Y’all think you are smart, but Yoruba have one advantage, we are patient and calculative |
