Nigerians have a long way to go. See them commenting 6, 4, 10... When they don't even have the resources to train them. I wish Nigerian families would be mandated to have just one child like China.

I always would shake my head in disgust whenever I saw threads hyping Uyo, Akwa ibom state. The same Uyo I lived in for 2 years (2017 - 2019). One thread even categorized plaza as a tourist location/center. Laugh wan kill me. Asides from good roads (major roads), cleanliness and security (to an extent), there is absolutely nothing in Akwa Ibom. Majority of the citizens are hungry and poor and 90% of the businesses are run by igbos. I love Uyo and would put it in the top 5 most liveable cities in Nigeria but that's mostly because of its cleanliness and the friendly nature of the people. |

NOSDAVID: Anty/brother, there are ten important things you must do to succeed in transport business: 1. Don't try it cos it wil put you in agony 2. Don't even dream of it. It's demonic venture. 3.Don't ever remember it. 4. Don't imagine starting it 5. Don't even ask for public opinion on whether to start it 6. Don't venture into it 7.Don't waste your money in transportation business 8 Don't visualize it, its a spiritual business 9.Don't go near any one encouraging you to star transport business 10. Hate with perfect hatred any one telling you you can become richer in Eko transport business.
Copy and paste this formula in your dairy . You're are ment. |

awulio: @Stacy I’m also thinking of starting a transportation business and I’m a female. I think the most important thing is to get someone you trust to drive the Danfo....Even if you are a woman they can still listen but you need to become like Margret Thatcher and be a Iron Lady. That will never happen. Just stay away from Danfo business if you can't drive it yourself, else you could collapse from high blood pressure. |

StacyO: This is so discouraging. I know for a fact they'll surely try to cheat me cause of my gender. Badly want to go into the business but,the disadvantages are too high. I'll advise you to buy a car and venture into uber if you like transport business. And the most important factor for success in transport business is that you drive it yourself. Yes, drive your car or danfo by yourself. The next most important factor is that you get a direct tokunbo vehicle (car or danfo). If you get a Nigerian used vehicle, you have already failed before you started. Let me talk further on danfo business: Except you're a military personnel, do not go in danfo business. 99.9% of the time, your drivers will cheat you and you'll end up selling the bus for a fraction of what you bought it. I know the 5k returns per day sounds tempting but trust me you will never receive it. If you receive it today, you will spend 10k tomorrow on the bus. All your money will go to mechanics for repairs and the rest will go to your drivers (by cheating you) and to the police (to settle cases with dubious drivers). All you will get is stories and high blood pressure. I did the business in Lagos in 2014 and I will not even advise my enemy to go in it (except he or she will drive it by themselves). If you like peace of mind, avoid danfo business. My opinion is, Do not go into it. A word is enough for the wise. |

While this shouldn't come off as an attempt to gloat at your death so young, I'll keep sounding it loud and clear that reaping where one hasn't sown has terrible consequences. Forget about the troupe of girls that you'd attract plus the champagne popping, when the time is ripe you'd find your way back to ground zero if you are still alive.
My story is out there for all to read and learn from, how I garnered in the region of a million dollars and all frittered away the same way I had accumulated it. What about my friend and colleague who had done 9 straight years in the slammer only to get out and died barely 3 months of regaining his freedom.
My dear people it pays not to earn by whatever dishonourable means be it yahoo yahoo, wire wire or whatever fancy names you might know the crimes by.

gonkin: Some people are definitely gonna die poor
I have seen many yahoo boys that sprayed money in clubs, buy mega expensive cars and even built houses at the end of it all they lack financial management knowledge and end up selling it all. They find it hard to earn money the clean way and when its all gone they start involving themselves in fetish acts and armed robbery cuz they are addicted to quick money. Some die. Some run mad. Some go to prison. Its karma. No be today yahoo dey. I had friends too living large counting dollars and traveling to dubai earning 10k dollars/week, some even got robbed of 10 to 15 millions naira due to someone getting the western union details and they dont feel it cuz the money they get is too much. They all gave me space cuz their level and my own aint the same. They always dissed me that i know far more than they do in computers yet im wasting my knowledge. I felt bad and sad. My parents raised me never to steal but put yourself in the position of the person you're stealing from
I see them now and i thank God for delivering me from temptation. Cuz nobody likes rise and fall. They fell hard and cant get up, instead they become thugs. The mad ones are cocaine addicts.
So if its yahoo u wanna do carry on I'm not stopping you but dont be dumb and think maga is gonna keep paying forever although its way safer than armed robbery or drugs. What can I say, to each his own. |
