Downloading templates can potentially present a more appealing look for a website than what would be created from scratch.

Well i stand to be corrected i totally i disagree with you here, those guys who did template that you are downloading, aren't they human beings or are you saying that are machines well in fact we can make a deal. let me design one for you and start paying me lol but serious i don't agree with you on that! practically you saying you not good at what you do then! mind no one is perfect o

talking about the budget baby, Okay let me just hint you got orders from some of this web guys and well known web company in Nigeria, sometimes they just want me to give them an interface and a sub-page. now i call that my template that means they are using a template which i created. not asif they don't have much to pay.

Quote me wrong, there is different between "you use a template" [/b]and [b]"wow nice web template" nice web template can be translated to nice web layout, but you use a template. hum mm no offense but i personal my interpretation to that is just mere laziness just download template and re-use it i didn't learn with that, i only learnt the hard way! and its has been working for me ever since. so you guys don't blame me

well ya-wa we've known for years now and we learn every second, you know i hate hearing [b]TEMPLATE [/b]because of the picture alotta peeps paint. it's really sucking to me man when i hear it! asif you don't know anyfin that's just me oooo.

lets take for instance you showed some of your web jobs to someone and the person tells you,  "Hey you use template right ?" and you respond nope, all that are from scrash you answered,  my question is does that make you professional or will i say does that add credit to what you can do?? again i was just around somewhere and i was just listening to two people talking about web design and the lady was like you see in my company, am the Head of IT and i just told them i design website instead of them giving it out i do and we can actually make this as a business and the lady went on and on. so the the next party ask what tools do you use and the lady responded tools?? well i just look for a template and add up text but am learning front page but i use my credit card to pay for domain and hosting thats what i do.

The guy ask again how much do you charge? well the lady responded from 100k.  i was like chie! should i give this guys my card or what? well i just ignored both of them.

This two things happen today, what i want to know is does that make her a website designer too?

Well Calling is better and some kinda emails too are welcome,  aslong you tell them what solution you want to render. okay let me gist you, i was in the office when i was done with some creatives for some clients HC if you know someone into advertising will like to read M2 Magazine huh?? i was just fliping through pages and i saw an Advertising Agency posing with yahoo email. So eheheh i was so smart to send an email because i can't imagine an agency not having one.

So immediately send an email and i got a reply infact the deal was sealed through email, afterwards i bell the MD on Phone. HC no tell me say u don dey do website join advertising ooo lol

@poster that's true, don't anyone fool you by collecting money from you and implementing it and you won't know is ning.com but if you still want someone to integrate that for you hehehehehe you can pay yawa or smartsoft lol

Bug just because i don't want to say anyfin and 5 other ppl knows that that web is a template man. read my first post! have seen some of your jobs and your website cannot be compared to template you use. don't come and start arguing here. we didn't say using template is bad, even i hate using it everyfin i do it's just from scrash. oya compare now http://www.menpif.org/ and www.ipageng.com

i enjoy everyfin am seeing here as a designer i fink i can say my state is pretty doing well,  nice webby ! what is your state website ?  is it looking good or bad or worst or ? any other word to qualify it!!!

I will say those two website you guys pasted above are even prettier even though this not an hotel because this one am showing here is father of all !  coming out from a whole state. http://www.osogbocity.com/ Osun state for that matter !. i think i need to start doing a mock up for this people.

well i will first say that the management are just too meticulous about the money the professional web guy will charge. now that reminds me when i was suppose to design website for sheraton hotel not sheraton though but  IKEJA PALACE HOTEL something like that i can't remember again but sheraton hotel was in charge of the hotel. So the bill was like hummm this small guy one chop all this money.

And i was iike your site will also have a payment gateway, were people can pay and they receive receipt e.t.c but after all the presentation and all that meeeeeeeeeeeeen this guy money high oooo. so what am i trying to say, don't be suprise that it might even be the owner of the hotel who designed the website, because he was opportune to have learn one Microsoft frontpage when he was in school and he/she can lay hands on software that cost N100 at Otigba Ikeja. so whose to be blame
