am not trying to fight against each programe but i was just going through some articles online, where folks are really fighting themself on software that is better for web design, slicing, optimization, and all that, so i decide to ask peeps here, Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop which one are you confortable with ? and why

you might want to look at it at this point, really now am using a friend laptop to view your site and it's telling me that FLASH REQUIRED, which really sucks. if it were a company that ppl need to gets info from what happens not to talk of someone who is not a computer litrate huh ? just my own view ooo have not seen the whole thing sha, when i get on my own LAP, i can continue, nice and good colour combination at first page.

This what i tell clients when they call and say ppl do it at this kinda rate,  i simply say that " The fact that Panadol Extra and Procold pull the same stunt doesn't mean they are same thing " See my technique works, At the end of the day, am been given the job to execute for my own price  u guys try it out one day thats my own black powder lol And later don't fail to pay my own tite, after you have given GOD is own ooo

wow,  hummm my first post reply since this year anyway it just simple, for some years now i can say have been working on interface design maybe for web or advertising,branding or software as you all knows that software  requires design sometimes,  well i can't tell myself am a pro or something but to yourself you would know if you are a  newbie or not or permit me to say if you making head ways

lol, there is not about best software everything lies within you how best you can handle it, most of this software, they are great and they are their to exploit anything out of it, is not the matter of knowing 10 design software, my guy,

hummmm this is really an intresting story, wow soji you just made my day ooo,  thank God that everyone here are creative people, at least you guys have said it all, getting someone who don't think as you do as a creative person is really a pain in the ass, have tried to train but everything comes out zero,  there is this IT company in lagos here, what i write to them his just article basically on design and all that but you see when you work and work and at the end of the day you don't get paid what happens? you see they will always take jobs outside and bringing back crap to us here to watch.

Sometimes i just see some funny videos they claim to go shoot in S.A or Uk or whatever place they go to, they bring crap here and they say is a video,  when good guys here can handle it more beta you see wrong colour combinations, wrong use of colours,  infact there is one guy here in nigeria that piss me off anytime he directs his own video, but everyone hails him.

When you ask them they will tell you " omo the guy money plenty o " how e no go plenty na beans to produce good quality video ? or produce good design

Am tired of ppl coming meet you "bro abeg design or edit quality jobs for me ooo" but when you say this your amount they run like crazy people.

Of recent a record label company guys calls me,  for a design for one of their artist, they wanted CD Jacket and a branded logo, and we were in the board meeting like 7 people i was like hummmm, i taught if they wanted something good, they will difinetly get it. i gave them a quote and right in front of me, they called someone at Alaba and the guy told them N1,000 for everything,  well i just told them PANADOL EXTRA aren't same with PROCOLD,  and i left

So only that alone can even discourage you, and again you see some funny camera man parade themselves as D.O.P thats very funny. if you ask them to give you one angle shot now, they will start misbehaving.

In a nutshell, if you looking for a protege you better find someone is already creative most especially in our industry

I don't see anything special in what they produce out there at least i have DSTV and i watch alot of Adverts and sometimes i see some print ads design outside the ideas is ideas+thinking+creativity.

Soji i still they come see you oooo, before i go, sometimes i just see some funny ads on paper the kind of element they use for the adverts does not relate to what the company does or even is not close to the copy writing, and even radio spot,  of recent too i heard a radio spot and i was hearing GONSO ASO, infact the song was far from what the are trying to advertise

i for one might not have done alot of press ads but i have done few and  all that as i said ideas + thinking + creativity, is really required.
