Yes and you need to also take a copy of it with you when going for submission.
Kindly also clarify this. In the application I submitted online, there was no such place to upload bank statements. Please what link did you use?

You won’t be allowed inside without an appointment email. The visa fee is $125 in cash. And must be from 2013 to 2018
Then have additional NGN500 plus about NGN17,000 if you would want a courier to deliver your passport to you.
Please how did you book your appointment.

I submitted a business Visa pre-application but didn't get any appointment mail
TravelRe: How Did You Feel The First Day You Travelled Abroad? by smartyG(m): 11:13pm On Mar 03, 2020
My first real trip (I'd traveled by road to Benin republic earlier) was to Austria, in Vienna. Was such an amazing experience. It was also filled with quite some anxieties. Flew through Frankfurt.

As I landed finally in Vienna and saw the serenity, orderliness of things, and seeing for the very first time a working system in another country, felt terribly saddened for Nigeria.

Kept asking myself how that our leaders who travel quite frequently find it difficult to replicate the same level of progress in the west here in Nigeria.

It was a business trip in any case and I'm long bank to Nigeria. So I keep being faced daily with question as to why things are not so working well here in Nigeria.

That's good to know ..... Did they invite you for an interview before granting the Visa?
Not at all.

Made my submission through Lagos VFS.

Albeit, at some points they responded via mail asking for additional proof of financial capability. I'd only added my coy's Statement of Account during initial application. So I had to add mine when they demanded this. They called my company to confirm I work with them. Sure they called my hosting company in Austria as well

Thanks for giving more light ..... Please how long did it take to get the visa. I actually applied for a Conference in Vienna ,Austria. Thank you.
If I remember clear, took up to 3 weeks. As a matter of fact, notification for pickup of my passport came only about a 2 days to date I indicated I was traveling.

Make sure your application is as watertight as you can make it. The Austrians will definitely contact the conference organiser and your booked hotel. Be prepared to go to Abuja for an interview.
They would even call your employer and confirm you work with them

Thanks for the swift replies,i would do as you all have adviced,i appreciate all the inputs smiley
Just as someone advised, reg your business, get your taxes fixed and catch a trip to Eastern Africa, would say Kenya or Rwanda, been to both, not a bad idea at all and trust me you'd enjoy the scenery and their tourism space is big.

You can plan for France early next year.

approvedxxx yes he’s right. I went to Austria last year, spent 82 days there in total and I didn’t have any issues whatsoever. I submitted at Abuja. I submitted sometime around 20th may and told it was ready sometime by June 6th. Roughly 2 weeks. The guys at VFS there were very kind and nice, they thoroughly cross checked my documents. I had made a mistake on my application form and so I had to redo the entire thing again, they made me take new passport photos and they had me redo my bank statement. From what they said if I remember correctly, I had to come up with exactly 3 months bank statement. So I ran to the bank that same day, did a new bank statement and arrived back before closing. It was a REALLY long day. But I thank God for everything. I went to Austria in July or so. I stayed in Salzburg and visited Chiemsee in Bavaria, wen to some really exotic places. And whilst in Salzburg, I met the Nigerian Ambassador to Austria, Amb. Vivian Okeke. Very nice woman.

For your self introduction letter too, I remember the guy at VFS asked why I didn’t do it on a letter head. But he accepted it nonetheless. I’m not very sure my total visa fees + other expenses was up to: N41410. Honestly I can’t really remember. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t, I feel like I paid something in total of about 30 something k. But now with the increase of visa fees, it could cost much more.
Fantastic.

Was also in Vienna, Austria 2018 September.

Went for a technical training. Was such an enjoyable experience. Hoping to make another trip there this year.

Submitted my application at VFS Lagos.

TravelRe: Any Nigerian In Kigali, Rwanda? by smartyG(m): 3:13pm On Oct 25, 2019
I was in Kigali earlier this year, June precisely. Such a beautiful country.

Presents a lot of beautiful scenery. I didn't have much of time for site seeing, but of course the few views I caught were just amazing.

Friendly people I would say.

The business environment there is quite regulated and business registration is centralised, everything is digital. Of course, the company I consult for has a business there. So yes, if you have a very good business idea, and you run your numbers well, will be quite seamless setting up one there.

Definitely going to be making a few visits there.

When was this please? Looks like they don't have a fixed price for it. I met a lady just as I walked out from their office, they told her husband to bring 8,000.
This was November last year. Was asked by the immigration lady to either bribe her or pay the 30usd...opted to pay

When you get to MM2 don't listen to those guys telling you to buy yellow card and feeling you BS stories, any card they sell to you there is fake

Keep like 10k, when you get to Accra you can buy original yellow card there

Otherwise you will waste any money you use in buying any yellow card in Nigeria because it is fake
This is very valid.

I had to buy another one in Ghana for 30usd.

You might also need to show your hotel bookings at their immigration point.
TravelRe: Which Of The East African Visa On Arrival Convenient to visit? by smartyG(m): 5:09pm On Aug 10, 2019
Kenya is the easiest. Visa on arrival is $50, just make sure you make hotel bookings ahead of your arrival.
Nairobi and Mombasa have the best of Safari's adventures to offer.

Also Rwanda, howbeit a bit stringent, but not impossible. There's is 31usd visa on arrival. Similar to Kenya, make your hotel bookings ahead.

Kigali is such a beautiful and safe city with beautiful Safari as well.
EducationRe: My Life In India As A Nigerian Student (Thank God I Made It! Baba God Noni) by smartyG(m): 9:15am On May 01, 2017

India is the most racist country in the world. Indians are the most racist people in the world and even today, a child born in the Indian family is taught to worship anyone with white skin and look down upon anyone with dark skin. And thus was born the Indian racism against Africans and other dark skinned people. A fair skinned foreigner gets treated like a god and a dark skinned one is treated very badly.Among Indians themselves too there are conflicts between castes and people from different regions like the problem between Marathi Manoos and Biharis. And yet, Indians won’t accept this fact and boast about the culture and diversity and acceptance.
Sorry Sir, but you just wasted a whole lot of mb to paint a very inaccurate picture to people.

I've had to meet with few Indians here in Nigeria, and I can tell you for free, Indians place high value on people with relevance, those who have something to offer.

If an average Indian sees that you're good at what you do, you become their friend, regardless of your skin color or nationality.
