Yes,machines can malfunction, but we can’t rule out the incompetence of these traditional banks, and their inefficiencies..
Before the arrival of fintechs like opay and moniepoint, can you be about 90% confident enough to depend on your mobile app to make transactions and get the alert immediately without delay? NO,these fintechs proved them wrong.
I have never have problems doing transactions with any traditional banks. And the fintechs don't invest in heavy physical infrastructure like bank branches or ATM machines which are still needed in today's world by any serious business man.

Haven't used one for over 2 years now anyway.
As someone who has handled machines for over ten years I can tell you for sure that older machines can't do that, but newer machines can do that.

Useless banks, why didn’t the atm dispense immediately?
Both the bank and the security guards are to blame!
Oga any machine can malfunction. I have seen a machine do that before. The bank cannot be held liable for a machine malfunction. What matters most is who collected the money and who would pay. If a customer collect that money, the bank staff would pay even when they are not at fault.

Sacking them is not enough. They should be prosecuted and jailed.
It's enough, a security tried to rob my workplace about 6 years ago. Prosecution even for major stealing would involve wasting office hours going to court. Sometimes, it's best to leave matters to God.

They are not smart, probably why they ended up as security guards.
Haven't they stayed long enough at the job to know that CCTV covers all activities there?
It's not smart. When you have integrity issue, you would throw caution to the wind and forget that even if no one sees you even CCTV cameras may not see you, Almighty God would reward you for your work .

The mistake,we make is not studying the employment contract very well. The worst are media houses especially newspaper houses.I was disengaged after 19 years and 7 months with only a month salary no gratuity not knowing it was stated in the handbook on employment from the firm given to me one month salary on disengagement or you give them one month on resignation. The only consolation was the little change in my retirement savings account with ibtc pension fund.
It's the same with most multinationals and banks. Some would only pay you from there mind any amount depending on the time. Although they are not obligated to do so. Most important thing is to start saving from day one. Plan marriage, kids, save preferably in an insurance savings. Plan building as time and money comes. Open other businesses and pump in money little by little there.

What is the full meaning of HMO?
Health Management Organization. For insurance for hospital when you are sick, you and perhaps your family members depending on the HMO plan are not expected to pay for things covered in the plan.

They will never collect transfers or have a POS machine at the station, they demand for cash always and if it's time to pay they will always provide a POS merchant for you.
😂

And even if you call the DPO he/she will tell you he is not happy with what they did but they still continue doing it.
Who is fooling who?
grin grin
It's because they are all getting returns from these monies. So no one can talk.

These people will still boldly write bail is free at their stations but will shamelessly ask for money for bail.
1. They would never install CCTV cameras at the station. So they would boldly ask you for cash for bail. Even though it's millions. The annoying part is that they are so backwards in technology. You would see a typewriter or an ancient computer above 20 years old in a police station. You would not see a modern equipment at all.
PhonesRe: How I Put Myself Into Trouble Learn From My Story by smasher1(m): 6:14pm On Feb 16
2023Blessed:
Lessons learnt.

Should you return a lost phone again? YES

How should you do it? Get 3 witnesses and draft a simple lost but found agreement, stating exactly what you found. Let the owner of the lost item sign that he accepts that you are not to be held liable for anything after returning the phone which you saw.

Ideally, this should be done in a police station but only very few of those criminals in uniform can be trusted.

Document the events (most likely with video recordings) from when you found out, how you were able to reach out to the owner, etc.

Include in the agreement that if the owner of the lost item ever turns out around to falsely accuse you, you are at liberty to sue him/her to court.

Corollary:
I just saw a post where someone said something about picking up the phone of someone who was murdered.

That's a tricky one. And that is where proper documentation is important. Do not pick up a phone with your bare hands. It's not like we have proper criminal forensic capacity in Nigeria, but better be safe than sorry.
While making a video, draw the attention of 3-4 passers-by. Let them know you saw the phone and you are not willing to carry it. One idiot might claim it's his/hers, the wayray don claim problem be that.
However, if nobody claims it, then the police can be notified via call (no waka enter police station o....hmm) to come and pick it up. As soon as police appear, and you don video their face, moveeeeeee!

Make sure your video recording is a live stream. E get why too..... God go help us
I I need to do this, I would never pick a lost phone. I can't stress myself trying to help someone.

How many Nigerians can afford brand new cars?

I can assure you that the percentage of brand new cars on Nigerian roads isn't up to 5%.

90% of the 5% are government cars.
It's not up to 1%, and majority of these cars are at least 6 years old 2020 and older.

This is quite an admirable gesture by Abdulsamad Rabiu.

In addition to his remarkable philanthropic efforts, he is clearly interested in sports development. Going forward, he should further this by investing in our sports development; funding for sports infrastructure and enhancing our national league.

This reminds me of the multi billion Naira rain on his staff during the recent BUA long service awards and gala, where 5 loyal employees were gifted One Billion Naira each (N1bn) among many others that received hundreds of millions of Naira. I hope Aliko Dangote is taking notes.

Kudos to our motivator-general and philanthropist par-excellence.
The fact is he is the best to reward staff as at this time. That long service pay amount, I'm very sure is not in his staff handbook. But he willingly paid. He has done very well.

When are you going to pledge your support for the poor masses... Take that money to various hospitals to support major surgeries and health care of Nigerians struggling and begging for help.

Why you are right, this is a philanthropist that makes his staff smile and the best one at that in current Nigeria. I don't know of anyone who makes their staff motivated like this man.

Trust me , I lived in Yankee for many Decades.

This lady probably is doing MORE than JUST storing the Barrels. With heavy trucks becoming nuisance picking up and dropping off shipments. Loading and unloading palm oil etc and redistributing them to other containers…. I have seen it all!

Instead of renting shops, they will use their homes as storage. Her Neighbors who pay the SAME Home Association fees probably just got tired of the Heavy Traffic!
That's the fact. And such a person is lousy and not humble. Her neighbor may have confronted her previously and she crudely said mind your business. So she was rightly reported. You know how Nigerians claim right when they are obviously wrong.

Like seriously?!
What dirty case does she have?[/quote]Those barrels in front of a house, cannot make the house beautiful. It's a residential house and not a business premises. She ought to quickly comply and not expose herself to ridicule on social media. In Nigeria we fence our building high, so no one may know that you have such in your place, but there, due to security and for good reason, there house is accessible to everyone so that drum constitutes nuisance to the neighborhood.
