IamtheDef: What's the update on your payment? has you finally been credited Horrible but I am not giving up oh. It hasn't been reflected until this very moment and I hope the two days' interest that I ought to have been onboard would be added to my account once they finally do the right thing. It's tiring tho but I remain strong. |

EquityM: I totally understand. Equity is still my growth, and fixed income will be my stabilizer. It is what it is, it's all about what one feels works for them and increasing their gains. Your information and knowledge on these various investments have been so helpful and I am grateful. |

Beeron: Chief you need to realize that Equity fund gain is something not usually guaranteed in Nigeria in the long run because Nigeria stock market is primarily dominated with retail investors, NOT institutional investors.
According to Samson, when he was starting Zrosk, and filling out paperwork, he stumbled on one documents that holds records of CSCS number of active Nigerians in stocks market space and guess what? The number of active CSCS number was less than what he expected. Meaning very few people trade stocks in Nigeria and Nigeria stocks is still an emerging market.
However, the capital market in Nigeria is dominated with big numbers, you will always hear billions and billions in banks revenue, profit pre tax etc.
In a nutshell, Fixed income gains on days Equity has sloppy performance doesn't correlate to anything. But just bare in mind that Nigeria capital market has more money than the stock market that's why fixed income gains on peak days is unbelievable.
And for Nigeria banks, CASH is king because of how CBN regulate their activities strictly with tools like CRR, Standing facility corridor, OMO etc.
I just hope you understand all these I have written because if you do, you will have an idea why fixed income behaves the way it behaves and lastly let me shock you.
Last year 2025 was only the first time Nigeria stock market was bullish up to 51% in the last 2 decades.
Can you imagine that? Two decade
So, imagine how the capital market has since grown in size and volume of the Nigeria economy.
Matter plenty abeg, some times I just dey too busy to type plenty. Thank you for sharing this ....knowledge. 👍 |

Beeron: You know what is funny?
They call it fixed income but the income is not fixed at all.
Now depending on the asset management firm you investing with; Today you might get 0.03 percent of your capital, tomorrow you might get up to 3 percent.
It's hard to pick between MMF and fix income but let me explain their similarities and differences.
Both MMF and fixed income invest in the same short term money market except for one thing BOND, yep fixed income invest in old bond but MMF don't but some do like SFS MMF.
So while MMF gains come when interest rate is elevated, Fixed income real gains comes mostly in periods in a month when some Nigeria bank and cash strapped and looking for money, they get desperate and pay huge interest to you holding fixed Income so they can use your fund, after banking operations return to normal, you will begin to earn your peanuts.
So I will advise you do both MMF and fixed income.
I will make a video about this and post it on my YouTube channel. The bolded is referring to corporate bond(s). Can you also talk about the state and Feb gov bond which some managers incorporate into their basket of fixed and its advantages over the corporates? Regards. |

EquityM: Feb got off to a great start. This year could be the year of fixed income and treasury bills, as the current government continues to issue new bonds and TB. Invest wisely, and by God's grace, we will all meet our financial objectives. Lastly, it was a green day in the Cardinal and Zrosk equity fund. Wait a minute, is this fixed with CS? Cos if that's the case then something must be fishy cos my received 0.62 as daily return as at yesterday why is yours showing 0.74 as daily return, what's happening , can you explain this or are these thing varies from individual accounts ? Also, I observed something from my account , I mean, my fixed account investment with CS ; My closing value is higher than my total portfolio value or total return like about N500 difference upto N600. Can you please help explain these differences or mystery to me cos I am lost and confused at the same time ? Regards. |

LoriHamo: Even the payments I made to Cardinalstone since early this morning has not reflected....same as my funding into Afrinvest equity via cowrywise
Cardinal sent an email acknowledging the receipt of the funds but it's not reflecting...
I checked cowrywise who by the way acknowledged the funds....but it's telling me pending which I check my portfolios
Only the Trustbanc fund reflected almost immediately...
I don't just understand...I am new here....I have followed from sometime before deciding to register as a user ..
Thank you to all the contributors here....una own no go ever loss......iseeeee Being a newcomer I can understand your pains and how it feels but I want to assure you that this is very common among the fintech fund managers especially during the ends month , and in no time, all these setbacks shall become a thing of the past. Just hold on there and don't be wearied. But keep chatting and emailing them while it lasts, it will surely be fixed. |

@EquityM
They contacted me after I had chatted with them via their online chat platform.
Now, I'm unsure what's happening because, after I was finally able to log in successfully, the issue is that the money I transferred to them isn't yet reflecting in my account. Please, is this normal or do I need to wait for them for it to reflect? Please, enlighten. |

EquityM: No, bro. I was referring to your fixed income account. Can you access your portal? My brother, you don't seem to understanding my predicament yet. I have aucxessful registered but to log in has become a problem until when you calmed me down and said after I make payment they will provide me with everything but till now , even when I try to activate or use change password they won't send me any link after many attempt. Account confirmation , nothing. Transfer confirmation , nothing. |

EquityM: Bro, they sent me their account details, I paid, and they set up everything for me. Once you pay, they will send you an OTP to log in. Bro, this is Nigeria; one has to go with the system. How long does it usually take for them to activate or approve your transfer/account coz, I did some transfer to the account provided according to your instructions but I have not heard from them after mailing them for confirmation and screen shot of the transfer. EquityM: While the others I know are still at 6.90 or 7.10, Zrosk is currently at 10.11, which is the highest YTD to date. Although DLM's customer service is effective and manages everything flawlessly, there are a few glitches when registering, which can be solved by reaching out to them. There are numerous fund managers with respectable fixed incomes; it is always possible to determine which one best suits one's needs. Zrost, is it fixed or equity you are referring to? |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Smattrader: 12:47pm On Feb 02 |
EquityM: I am using OTP, and it's working perfectly. If it's too challenging, try Cardinal. It's funny , really. Do you know that even access to the log in page is difficult to come by ? Whee is the log in link and how to I go about applying the OPT , please! Cos, I just got a message from them now with bank details to deposit and all but funny how they don't even bother to provide me or answer my question as regards my log in details and procedures. By the way , you've been a source of inspiration so yes, I have joined CS fixed today. |

IamtheDef: If the registration is this tedious, i wonder what the redemption process will look like... what's with the we are offline thingy? Are they never online? Exactly, this is why I will ceasing my investment with them for now. They are too lag and static for a modern manager. I fear for my liquidity days. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Smattrader: 10:48am On Feb 02 |
t33why: Thank you, I eventually did complete the registration, unfortunately there's no end to the errors. This is while trying to subscribe to the Fixed income fund Well , the problem I am having presently now is that I am unable to login and when I request for a password or new one , no message show up in my inbox. I think cease from investing with them for now. This isn't a good sign especially for liquidation future. I fear for my money. |

t33why: Thank you, DLM onboarding really isn't user friendly. I keep getting errors You can say that again, I experienced the error issue but I just successfully completed my registration though. In my own case, it was the last form, the bank detail forms where I was asked to provide my bank name I e, I applied ' First bank ' it was showing error until I adjusted it to ' FirstBank ' . I hope this helps. 👉 |

EquityM: Open CardinalStone fixed income as well; there is a peak period whereby the interest goes crazy on that day. DLM also has it, but I can easily track that period on CardinalStone. You can withdraw that interest on that day; I will inform you when that time is near. I have fully joined CS fixed but I can't see to find my way around DLM to onboard. I have never seen a siite or manager as difficult as them to onboard. Please, kindly guide me on how you go about your registration and the genuine or direct link to them. Regards. |

EquityM: Have not tried DLM withdrawal, but CD withdrawal usually does not exceed 24hrs, you might even get it that day. NAV is better, as you can earn more money when the price goes up. The one without NAV is usually a fixed rate, and recently I just saw that DLM is using NAV as well, but it's not red or bearish like Cardinal. Lastly, the accrued rate usually fluctuates; it is not steady like MMF. Amazing and thanks. Since you said any fixed with NAV is better, please, how do I identify one with NAV and the one without? |

You can withdraw that interest on that day; I will inform you when that time is near. As per withdrawal at any time, are you referring to Cardinal Stone or DLM or both? Secondly, what's the difference and advantage between one with NAV and one without it? Lastly, is this fixed-income fund generally annually or daily interest-fixed or does it fluctuate daily? Will appreciate your knowledge and help with these questions. Thanks |

EquityM: I topped up my account; always check the daily income—that is the real gain. DLM is doing well; I saw a gain of 5k+ on it yesterday. The DLM has a lot of personal info; it's unwise to share it here. Thanks. I guess, your capital is on the high side with DLM considering your gain of yesterday. More greens 👉👉👉👉 |

EquityM: End of the week update. Fixed income was bullish throughout the week.
Zrosk equity fund: Strongly bullish; will update the YTD on Monday.
Afrinvest and CardinalStone equity: Tiny green.
Fixed income screenshot attached below; if I decide to cash out, those greens will be going with me, as the NAV is high this week. Nice one. How about the DLM fixed income update? And about the table above, there is something I didn't understand there ; How much is your capital there now, how did your capital jumped from 71k+ to 81+k despite a gain of just N33+ between 26-27 ? |

EquityM: Green Day is constant. With 500k, I do make around 350-500naira per day. Yesterday I made 600naira because the fixed income market was bullish. To check your interest accrued, download the statement from the portal, and it will be sent automatically to your email. @Equity Thank you for all you do, for being open-minded, generous with information, and for being a true lover of people's prosperity as you'd do for yourself. |

EquityM: For anyone who wants a better rate than MMF but does not want to risk equity, kindly port into DLM fixed income; the daily rate has been outshining TrustBanc and FirstAlly HYIS premium. I have successfully registered with DLM based on your recommendation for fixed. Please, I want to know, on an average day and green ratio days so far, how much is your daily gain on fixed income or better still, how does their fixed income interest rate or update work? |
