I think an education for us unlearned fellows as to what the difference between stone dust and quarry waste is would have helped all.

We have misconception when it comes to durability, we always associate durability with weight. The polystyrene fascia is design to serve as wind breaker, it will not be that exposed to too much rain after the roof sheet has been install.

The polystyrene is strong enough to withstand all the wind, rain that it may be exposed to in its service life

Very brilliant and innovative. You need to talk to this guy to know what he has in his head... I have probed his brain many times.
I was so much interested that I chat and talk to this guy on various subject almost everyday... Never being disappointed yet.
He has a very young mind that need to excel, and if he continue at this rate... I can see a very good future for him. No wasted talent.

I am thinking a time will come when the manufacturers of this "Polystrene fascia" will incorporate the wires needed to hang it, into the Poly product, as it is being manufactured.

What l see in that picture is a "crude method" (no disrespect to those who are pioneering this effort) of hanging it.

In my mind, when that times comes, the amount of concrete needed to hold it up on the roof will be very minimal afterall, it does not contribute anything to the beauty or stability of the product.

Just a very small ( say 3-4inches square) line of strong Cement or Concrete, laid along the roof-brickwall and the wires embedded into it.

Right now, l can even picture some alternative method of hanging it in my mind since the weight is negligible.

I am sure @abdulwacstex is already thinking about it, that man sharp nor be small!

Planning to include supply of Cements to d materials we supply. Currently working on d modalities with the manufacturers. Our Cement would always come directly from the source... When I say from d source, I meant directly from d mother company/factory of d brand u may need like Dangote, lafarge, purechem, etc to ur sites becos we r at d final stage wit dis companies.

Please when a Nairaland person do your work and you are very satisfied; mention their names so that others can also contract them.
We have many people advertising for services and their goods here but we don't actually know who is good.. until another Nairalander who have used them can vouch for them. Unless they want to remain anonymous which of course is not good for their business.

So if you can name the Lawyer and the Surveyor it will surely help them. Thank you.

Unfortunately, unlike residential building, there isn't much on NL about commercial buildings. We hope to document the construction process to help others as this forum has helped me in the past.

So far- We got NL's LAWYER to do a search that turned up ok. I was sceptical at first but i am glad we engaged him. The seller was very impressed by the depth to which he probed them and the verification done was very helpful. Great job oga.

Design plan - A testament to why we must alway do our best and try to help others, because in the end we end up helping ourselves. I posted the request for help about this building innocently hoping to get little help. Abdulwastecx came here and blew my expectations by taking his time to educate us on what it would cost. I took the conversation offline with him and i must say i have been impressed with him all the step of the way. I look forward to a great design and hope we can share it here for others to learn from.

Survey - Was completed by a non NL surveyor. I will invite him so he can follow the process. I am sure he can be of help to many of us especially concerning Lagos state survey matters.

Fencing - We are in the process of fencing and I am trying to get someone from NL so they can teach as the do the work. I am looking for someone to take the task. Being that its just fencing work for now, i can't invite the big boys of NL. i will let you know of any updates.

Smiley, its' good you took the time to shed more light on the matter.
Having said that, it is even better that you have apologized "repeatedly" to your customer because no matter how we dice it, the customer was disappointed since he has began to love your "business association" with him.

The matter should be a "by-gone is by-gone". It is up to your customer to forgive though l understand you did not elope with his money but your refusal was a disappointment to his expectations.
I will implore him to understand and see things from your point of view, .........."a fear resulting from a threat to life is very powerful on some people"

What concerns me more is your "mentality" and l would like to take this personally between "me and you".
First, l will be untruthful if l say "there are no powers of darkness".
So, it is possible that you felt "uncomfortable" with that builder who wants to use his "winch-eyes" to look you.

Now, can you actually ascribe your accident to the "grouse" you had with the other guy where-in you had a bad hand, with 100% certainty?

I dont think so.
There are accidents of negligence we impose on ourselves (like if l dont sleep enough and l am driving under fatigue!)
There are accidents of mere coincidence (like someone broke the red light and ran into me!)
There are also accidents of "negative mindset" (Like if l keep saying l will be sick, my body and soul can actually respond to this negative energy and l would physically get sick. That much is scientifically proven in "placebo experiments".).

In all, l think you should avoid every one of this mindset.

If you believe in the "spiritual"... and you are that spiritually inclined then l will implore you to go the whole hog and be spiritual: PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!
Before you leave home, commit your journey and business into the Lord's hand. When you return home, give "Thanks to God" for the day and your safety.
I tell you, if you are faithful with this and "No Evil is found within your heart" (You dont do or wish others evil)..... all the "winch eyes" in the world cannot do you a damn thing.
I am speaking from personal and physical experience here. I am not a "church person" but l can confirm to you that PRAYER WORKS!
Its even scientific because it is a sort of "energy tuning" when you pray.

For example, in the current case, you could simply have called "the Builder in the presence of your Customer" and lay it down between them and ask the Builder if he has anything against you supplying the stuff.
(I bet he will say "No" ) and that statement will fight on your behalf because you have done the needful and done it openly!

There is a reason that we say "CURSE WITHOUT REASON, SHALL NEVER LAND".
That statement is very powerful if your heart is clean.

I wish you well but dont let fear and negativity ruin your life and business.
You said you are a young man and its my wish that you will grow both physically and spiritually, even business-wise.
Just watch what you do to others and please treat others FAIRLY.
