Yes, from the 1st of September, some Chinese
had increased the prices of their quarry products but
we at Smiley Haulage, Logistics and Supply Services
hereby assure our various customers both in Nigeria and
diaspora not to panic. We are always readily available for them in any ways to reduce the costs on their projects.

We are EMPHATICALLY saying dat we would not increase
our prices and they would remain the same and we also
want to assure you that the quantity won't be
compromised.

P.S: You have the right not to pay us if you are not
satisfied with the quality and the quantity we supply you.
We have a name to protect and 6 years experience can't
be toyed with.

Customers still thinking of considering us can give us a
trial now as one will definitely convince you.
This isn't mouth-making, we are so sure of the services
and goods we render and supply.

How much will the 19tonne of Granite be delivered to Omi, Ibadan. Isnt the stone dust used for setting? How many tonnes will be okay for 4bedroom flat and how much,sir?

Sir, where exactly in Omi Adio? But if it's d normal Omi Adio, site road accessibilty, not too far from d main road and Ceteris Paribus, dis same 19tons would cost u 64k.

Also sir, if wot u meant by setting is the Block Setting or Block formwork, I wouldn't advise u to use stone dust for dat but there's a particular sand for dat and it's called shocking sand. But if it's for Block mouldering, I would advise to use stone dust mixed wit little quantity of sharp sand by a ratio o 3:1 or depending on ow strong u want it to be.

Also on d issue of d quantity of granite to use for a 4 bedroom flat, I think ur Engineer shld be able to advise u on dat or u follow ur bill of quantity but if there's none, I would need to see ur floor plan and d thickness of wot to cast to be able to give u d exact quantity to use.

But if I want to guess without seeing all dis, what exactly do u want to use it for? Is it for blinding or raft foundation or d german floor or d beams & columns or for d decking or for all of dis?

In conclusion sir, ow soon do u intend ordering or to make use of d granite? d reason for dis is for us to go and pre inspect d site and advise u properly and accordingly.

I didn't want to elaborate with my friend KolaShangone.

This is my first house in Nigeria and is the staging zone for future endeavors. If I imported concert mixers where would I store it? The builder felt he could be more efficient doing it manually based on where we were at, access and availability to labour. Since that is all on his side of the project then I had to yield to him. I don't believe that my project is suffering because they hand mixed the blinding. My job is to use knowledge learned on Nairaland to make sure that I'm seeing what I see on Spyder, Brabus, Aventures, etc high dollar projects and quickly ask questions.

Now on another note, Smiley001 has been onsite and can relate the deplorable road condition that I'm dealing with. We had to dump 19 tons of granite down the street and hand carry it to site because the roads were slippery.

I'm proud of the crew yesterday

@OP: What does ur builder mean by Granite, 1 mack truck?

U need to ask him d quantity in term of tonnage... If It's 10tons, 20tons, 25tons or 30tons for For d quote of 140k.

Well, the approval people came but our client is handling that. We no for sure that the Material Testing guys can as well come, but we know for sure when they come there would always be away out.
We have varying heights of our ground beam some are 1.6m high while some are 1.3m high (approx. 4-5 boards). Well it is better to be precise about your fdn height before commencement because you may not be able to add to it as long as it is raft fdn, but rather what some people do is to add filled solid blocks to the top of grd beam and later add a capping beam before the reinforced ground floor slab

Coming up little by little... I know dat dis project will surely be a success IJN.

Being on the ground is like a bumper harvest. Cement went down to a savings of N300 per bag. Smiley001 hooked me up at N2,300 per ton of granite and delivery is astonishingly lower than the eye popping estimates I was given

We budgeted 400k for wood and workmanship but we spent about 50k extra for wood treatment and extra material. While about 725k for the aluminium but we spent 705k. I based in abroad, I have never seen @KolaShangOne before, but he refunded the remain 20k on the aluminium. You can contact him for more details on the project. +2347038935532
