Just listen to yourself, Gani fought for the enthronement of Democracy. Democracy is predicate on the rule of law. Demanding a sitting president to go is not democratic. The law already made provisiond on how a president can leave office and anything contrary to that is illegitimate. To even worsen the situation, Sowore is an interest in the coming presidential election and his conduct can be viewed correctly as a treasonable felony.

In a serious country, people mobilise the youths to drive development and make positive impact in diverse areas of agriculture, engineering, IT and so on, but in our case the youth only want to gather for protest. He went to China, he did not see how every Chinese want to impact on their economy, he did not experience anything positive only to come to Abuja to lead protest. You do not force a president to resign there are means to legitimately remove a Nigerian president. He should stop acting ignorantly.

Just less than a week that they were kidnapped and the Nigerian police quickly neutralized the kidnappers and rescue family member of the minister. Power of connection and people at the top.
And we begin to wonder if it's this same Oyo state that about 40 pupils were kidnapped that left security operatives scratching their heads on how to rescue them

Look at your displeasure and disappointment that the police have rescued the victims this time. Where you lack simple logic was that this incident happened right inside the city and the police were Swift and quick in tracking the criminals compare to the school children who were abducted in a remote village with no means of easy communication to alert the security agencies. This success pain you not be small.

This Dalung guy is such a disgrace no wonder he performed very poorly as a minister during the Buhari era. A mere critics of the government does not in many cases have to hide his identity or disguise his whereabouts. Criminals take time to plan their actions are very much conscious of being caught. They do everything possible to remain in the dark. Most of these criminals make use of the phones of their victims to make contacts and communicate while in operation. Most tracking information such as IMEI numbers are not easily available to the states security authorities. NIN and other registered personal data's with the NCC linked to just phone numbers. Apps like google map, location finder and others can be easily disabled or put off.
It is so unfortunate that we are experiencing this high level of insecurity in Nigeria today, but the solution certainly will require all stakeholders holders including the general public to come together to successfully address this menace. We should not allow politics to take charge of the situation.
The poor and bais journalism in Nigeria is not helping matters. We need security experts to feature as a guest in national TVs to intelligently address the real issues, instead Arise prefer someone like Dalung a bittered opposition politician to come speak on security matters. Really so unfortunate.

You think the best is to play politics with the unfortunate situation. You are indirectly delighted that people are being kidnapped. In as much as we call on all levels of government and also the security professionals to wade into the crisis, it is disheartening that some elements are taking undue advantage of the ugly circumstance. The security agency should wake up and do the needful. The president is not a security experts but only ceremoniously direct an already existing security structure in the country. We have the service chiefs and the IGP of police, they are the core professional trained to protect lives and property. They should wake up from their slumber and perform their duties. We should not leave the front of the yam and be digging the back.
The president can only give directives but can not be physically involved in protection and rescuing operations. Those he is commanding should do their job or quit.

It really beat my imagination how Nigerians have chosen not to first condemn the evil act of kidnapping and reprimand those involved in such wicked and inhuman act against their fellow citizen. We shy away from placing curse on the evil ones and their sponsors. We now justify the act and the perpetrators but blame those who could not stop them. What manner of morality are we building as a people? People now see the evil of kidnapping as normal, exonorating those behind it. No wonder you hear stories of people even arranging their own kidnap and that of their family members or colleagues. Some of these kidnap cases are even aided by members of the victims community.
Leadership failure in Nigeria is not limited to political office holders alone, our leaders at all levels have failed. The religious leaders are not left out. Their messages have failed to build a society with godly principles. We have mushroom of churches and mosques scattered everywhere around the country whereas this does not truly reflect our godliness and good moral standards It is said that except the Lord watches over a city, the guards watch in vain. It reminds us that human effort and vigilance are limited, and true security and success ultimately rely on God's protection and provision. But how have these so called men of God used their self acclaimed positions to support the government and the society at large.
Let us be serious as a people, everything is not politics.

If the federal government is not doing well does it also stop a state government from not performing. Whether you like it or not, the APC has done far better for the Edo people than the PDP. The records are evident.

How does this faked video clip tell us about what their candidate has to offer? Unfortunately many of you have fallen already for the gemmick. Since 1999, the only notable development in Edo State was under an APC government of Adams Oshiomhole. Samwo Olu is doing very great for Lagosians as an APC governor.
Every sane person will notice a pause in the video where the main word was silent.
Those who claimed to be so educated, vast and well articulated has nothing to show Edo people after 8 good years.

Your allocation was doubled and yes there is reduction is purchasing power and you did not see any reason why you should also double the total pay of your state workers and pensioners knowing fully well that purchasing power has dropped. Obi has nothing to offer. He couldn't even answer simple question always digressing from the main issue, looking for where to claim what he never did as governor or quote falsified figures. I believed God will never allow him win. Nigeria may not be ok today but Obi is never near a solution.
