Mansa6:Don't mind the mannerless Rufia, see the person that always want to claim facts. He could not even fact check to know that the case against the NDC was there before Obi joined the party. AI journalist. |
hegelian:Just listen to yourself, Gani fought for the enthronement of Democracy. Democracy is predicate on the rule of law. Demanding a sitting president to go is not democratic. The law already made provisiond on how a president can leave office and anything contrary to that is illegitimate. To even worsen the situation, Sowore is an interest in the coming presidential election and his conduct can be viewed correctly as a treasonable felony. |
helinues:In a serious country, people mobilise the youths to drive development and make positive impact in diverse areas of agriculture, engineering, IT and so on, but in our case the youth only want to gather for protest. He went to China, he did not see how every Chinese want to impact on their economy, he did not experience anything positive only to come to Abuja to lead protest. You do not force a president to resign there are means to legitimately remove a Nigerian president. He should stop acting ignorantly. |
ARISHEM:Look at your displeasure and disappointment that the police have rescued the victims this time. Where you lack simple logic was that this incident happened right inside the city and the police were Swift and quick in tracking the criminals compare to the school children who were abducted in a remote village with no means of easy communication to alert the security agencies. This success pain you not be small. |
LordIsaac:This Dalung guy is such a disgrace no wonder he performed very poorly as a minister during the Buhari era. A mere critics of the government does not in many cases have to hide his identity or disguise his whereabouts. Criminals take time to plan their actions are very much conscious of being caught. They do everything possible to remain in the dark. Most of these criminals make use of the phones of their victims to make contacts and communicate while in operation. Most tracking information such as IMEI numbers are not easily available to the states security authorities. NIN and other registered personal data's with the NCC linked to just phone numbers. Apps like google map, location finder and others can be easily disabled or put off. It is so unfortunate that we are experiencing this high level of insecurity in Nigeria today, but the solution certainly will require all stakeholders holders including the general public to come together to successfully address this menace. We should not allow politics to take charge of the situation. The poor and bais journalism in Nigeria is not helping matters. We need security experts to feature as a guest in national TVs to intelligently address the real issues, instead Arise prefer someone like Dalung a bittered opposition politician to come speak on security matters. Really so unfortunate. |
ObaOfYorubaLand:You people play politics with human life. You are quick to attach Tinubu first instead of condemning the wicked act. It is clear how you people are so delighted with the unfortunate security situation in the country. |
Dogalmighty17:Minimum wage |
Julibet:You are now using the insecurity to campaign and lure voters. It is so unfortunate the level of opposition politics in Nigeria. They want to win election by backing and promoting insecurity. Firstly all those involved in these wicked acts must surely meet their waterloo, they will face a very more pathetic situation than their victims today. They will beg for death to come upon them. And for their sponsors, they will never know peace. The monsters they are backing and sponsoring today will end up eating their flesh, they will envy the pains of their victims today for theirs' shall be unbearable torment . They will remain cursed for generation to generation. For the supporters of hate, I pray you all have sense one day. The government is doing nothing whereas our dear security men and women are laying their life to secure our nation. The president is not a trained soldiers or a security expert, his security strength is vested on our security agencies. These men and women have proven they are the best and are courageous The wickedness of our politics and betrayals in the security formations who are behind these evils today will surely pay a bitter price one day soon. |
Doctortyre:Una own na to play politics with the unfortunate situation. We have your mates in the military and other security agencies. You can as well as a Nigerian lead the rescue mission. |
Jamiubond009:Stop playing politics with the pains of others and pretend you care. Stop mocking the kidnaped and their families using their condition to sow seeds of hatred and bitterness because you want to play politics. |
Jamiubond009:Are you not a Nigerian? Go and rescue them. |
givedemwotowoto:You think the best is to play politics with the unfortunate situation. You are indirectly delighted that people are being kidnapped. In as much as we call on all levels of government and also the security professionals to wade into the crisis, it is disheartening that some elements are taking undue advantage of the ugly circumstance. The security agency should wake up and do the needful. The president is not a security experts but only ceremoniously direct an already existing security structure in the country. We have the service chiefs and the IGP of police, they are the core professional trained to protect lives and property. They should wake up from their slumber and perform their duties. We should not leave the front of the yam and be digging the back. The president can only give directives but can not be physically involved in protection and rescuing operations. Those he is commanding should do their job or quit. |
jmoore:You guys are really funny here. It was expected that VDM should have responded first to the alleged video purportedly to have originated from him. You start by denying and distancing yourself from the video. Apart from Bayo, many online users already believed the clip is real and actually emanated from VDM. Insulting Bayo should not be his first response |
politicoNG:It really beat my imagination how Nigerians have chosen not to first condemn the evil act of kidnapping and reprimand those involved in such wicked and inhuman act against their fellow citizen. We shy away from placing curse on the evil ones and their sponsors. We now justify the act and the perpetrators but blame those who could not stop them. What manner of morality are we building as a people? People now see the evil of kidnapping as normal, exonorating those behind it. No wonder you hear stories of people even arranging their own kidnap and that of their family members or colleagues. Some of these kidnap cases are even aided by members of the victims community. Leadership failure in Nigeria is not limited to political office holders alone, our leaders at all levels have failed. The religious leaders are not left out. Their messages have failed to build a society with godly principles. We have mushroom of churches and mosques scattered everywhere around the country whereas this does not truly reflect our godliness and good moral standards It is said that except the Lord watches over a city, the guards watch in vain. It reminds us that human effort and vigilance are limited, and true security and success ultimately rely on God's protection and provision. But how have these so called men of God used their self acclaimed positions to support the government and the society at large. Let us be serious as a people, everything is not politics. |
ogododo:A better analysis should explain these loans in USD terms for a proper perspective. Loan are not bad if they are channelled to drive productivity. South Africa and Egypt have over twice foreign debt profile than Nigeria. |
They should wait for APC women response. |
PussyOdour:If the federal government is not doing well does it also stop a state government from not performing. Whether you like it or not, the APC has done far better for the Edo people than the PDP. The records are evident. |
When a party has nothing tangible to campaign with they only resorts to faking and doctoring video clips to malign their opponent before the gullible. How does this faked video clip tell us about what their candidate has to offer? Unfortunately many of you have fallen already for the gemmick. Since 1999, the only notable development in Edo State was under an APC government of Adams Oshiomhole. Samwo Olu is doing very great for Lagosians as an APC governor. Every sane person will notice a pause in the video where the main word was silent. Those who claimed to be so educated, vast and well articulated has nothing to show Edo people after 8 good years. |
edlion57:What Oshiomhole did for Edo State under APC, the PDP didn't do it and will not near that record anytime soon. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Your allocation was doubled and yes there is reduction is purchasing power and you did not see any reason why you should also double the total pay of your state workers and pensioners knowing fully well that purchasing power has dropped. These governors are good for nothing set of politicians. Some of them are yet to even pay the 30k previous minimum wage. They should not worry the people will soon come for them. |
quote author=Johnthum post=121525925]APC and PDP should be chased away by sane Nigerians. We have tried PDP without any meaningful result. We have tried APC without any visible development. We sane Nigerians have decided to try Labour Party so that our country Nigeria will get better in our lifetime 💯
Tell us one politician in the Labour Party that has not been in the PDP or APC. |
uote author=Bodmum post=121476187]Tinubu na thief.
Bad loser |
te author=mikelopez post=121354016]This is pure open daylight robbery They can NEVER escape this rigging The youths are coming for them It will happen so fast that they will not be able to escape Massive Nationwide riots loading Just wait for INEC to announce the results 220,000,000 people and how many soldiers do we have in the arm forces less than 5,000,000. The security forces can NEVER crush over 220,000,000 Nigerians Let that sink
This one pain you die. Who told you that you are a youth? When they talk if Nigerian youths you too will respond. Nigerian youths are not foolish, nobody is afraid of anything violence but will not join you on your evil agitation. This drum of war will surely consume you and your likes. |
ote author=sageb post=119667017] Is it wrong for A Youth to aspire to be president? The man have excelled in business and in the Academia sector.
This is someone Nigerian youths are supposed to support but they foolishly blinded with the Biafra agenda of Peter Obi that will never be accomplished. |
Make una quickly remind Obi to send congratulatory message to the Moroccans for reaching the world cup semi finals. |
PrettyBolu:All Nigerians will vote for LP? Your sense dey disturb you. |
quote author=muykem post=118944623]What's all these rubbish for God sake? Every companies you work with will train you in one way or the other.
Please don't argue with fools. Training someone in a profession is more than a certification from school and even work experience. Nigerians are just too stupid that many of our youths keep wasting their precious time on irrelevant issue yet they complain of difficult times. |
Racoon:Why are you people so worried? They are all members of APC. The party wants to be in charge of next federal government of Nigerian. The party owns the manifesto and program of governance. It will be fine for others to speak on the party plans. Most of you claim he can't win the election yet you are having a sleepless night over his activities. Even if Tinubu did not win, I swear certainly it will never be Peter Obi. |
SlavaUkraini: |
BluntCrazeMan:Obi has nothing to offer. He couldn't even answer simple question always digressing from the main issue, looking for where to claim what he never did as governor or quote falsified figures. I believed God will never allow him win. Nigeria may not be ok today but Obi is never near a solution. |
quote author=Reinaldo post=117765427]The insecurity under this APC government is horrific. How can any sane person still be campaigning for such a party. We should not be tolerating failure
Did anybody attack you? |
