Amongst other things, he said it seems Oshiomhole's age could be affecting his memory that's why he must have forgotten how he named Obaseki the BRAIN BOX behind the success of his ( Oshiomhole's ) administration when he was in power.


Everything he said in that interview was to remind everybody how Oshiomhole praised Obaseki in the past but seemed to have forgotten those things he said. He alluded that old age was the reason.

Political campaign is all about de marketing your opponent. It may surprise you to know that all the things Oshomole said about POI in 2016 was only to pave way for the outgoing governor Obaseki. POI has never be convicted by any court of law for any crime. In real sense it’s better to merely condemn POI politically in the past and now praise him, no man is above mistake and Edo people must forgive Oshomole. You also don’t need to be fooled by your beclouded sentiment, ask Obaseki to stop basing his campaign on what Oshomole said about POI in 2016, he should tell Edo people what he has achieved in his four years in office and the need for a second term. A Governor who has achieved nothing for 4 years now is surprisingly using video clips of same Oshomole in 2016 for campaign in 2020. Oshomole he claimed to be a liar and a God fathers yet he want us to only believe what he said against POI in 2016 and we should not believe in what he is telling us today. Edo we know that this betrayal Governor will never never has his way again into Edo government house.

If APC were fighting corruption as they claim, they will not be fielding a candidate that has been widely labeled a thief by their own former chairman. In sane societies, he would step down from any reasonable position he holds in society, not contesting to lead a most vibrant Edo State. Pity really.

The next phase of the Bayelsa case is going to be a fresh case whether INEC was right to return the PDP candidate based on the earlier SC judgement which ordered Inec to issue certificate of Return to the candidate with next highest votes and REQUIRED SPREAD. The point here is whether The PDP candidate got the required spread by law. The SC have settled the case of forgery, so the battle is still on Whether INEC acted based on the SC ruling.

if inec can omit results for 388 PU, then it's logical that they did not include those accredited in these affected PU. This implies that the total accredited voters earlier given by inec is clearly incorrect .

Some crazy elections and court results has come and go and none generate much tension like dis Imo results because all dos judgements are numerically possible even the zamfara state case where all APC were sacked for PDP make sense because it was proved APC didnt conduct primaries which is a valid reason. However, this Imo decision does not make sense numerically, how den do u expect people to accept it. The sad part is dat the supreme court are setting a precedent in which oda future cases will follow. This results need to be rejected completely otherwise this is d beginning of an era where numbers dont even need to add up. What about dualization of Airport road from Ring Road to Ogba Zoo as well as Siloko Road to Upper Siloko via the dreaded teacher's house and also Mission Road to upper mission up to upper mission extension to Auchi road with adjoining streets of upper Lawani all with Standard drainage and walkways. Oshomole renovated almost all the government schools with new roofing and furnitures just in his first term. I wonder what Obaseki has done in almost four years in office. Edo problem is not thugs, he should leave Tony alone and try to build notable legacies like his predecessor upon whom he rode on to become governor. He has not done anything tangible for Edo people and I challenge anyone to list what he has done for over 3 years now.

What's the point of abiding by the law when lawmakers break the law regularly. They won't provide an enabling environment, but when people do what is needed to survive, they enact harsh penalties.

The focus should be giving local farmers cheap (i.e. low-interest) loans for equipment and inputs and making sure the money is not siphoned off by the usual suspects. Build more milling facilities, and in fact give incentives for people in this country to build machines. And finally fixing the road networks so distribution is cheaper and faster. They could even go so far as to give money incentives to the public for buying Nigerian rice (like the way USA subsidizes electric cars by way of "tax credits" )

Contribute first to the government and they will provide the enabling infrastructure and incentives.
