Winters23:It all started when the judiciary started adding to the law provisions that are not in the Constitution and when the judiciary dare the legislator not to carry out their responsibility in amending the law. |
Totilopussylick:It shows you guys are kids, it has been like this over the past 40 yrs. I remember Shagari campaign then. We need not just new leaders but a different approach to our National problems. |
AntonVince:Speak for yourself. People are showing interest in the leadership of the country and you here talking nonsense. If you are interested why not come out and contest. You won't contest, your father won't contest and you just want to kill yourself seeing other making the desired moves. |
Nukilia:A mad person blaming APC as if APC is the one killing the innocent people. |
CSTRR:So you know all these? So why not go into corn farming business at least we have good fertil land for Agriculture |
F117nighthawk:The worst is yet to come. Take it or leave it. |
CSTRR:Then why not go into egg production? It's a big opportunity with the high selling price. |
psucc:2023 Will Make no difference as far as we know, we perceive that successive government are always worst than their predecessors. Everyone is beginning to see the reality so no one want to talk or protest. Funny to state that we judge our economy by mere price of commodities instead of the affordability. A price of cement is now 5000k but people afford it more than when it was selling for just 1500k. Turning around the economy is all about creating opportunities and it's a process. People are now crying that they is no fuel whereas we didn't know any scarcity for over four years ago now. We need to accept realities and be patient as a people. Let see how 2023 is going to change things. |
ProDigitals:Don't forget that Obaseki/ Philip bought and paid for the PDP tiget before getting vuctory from Edo people. PDP sold their birthright to Obeseki and he paid fully for it so how then do you want to detect for him? Instead Obaseki to leave PDP it Wike that will leave the party. |
ProDigitals:This one pain you. Make una caution that Wike with leaking mouth. |
DEROX:But it wasn't Wike that voted him for second term it was Edo people. Obaseki should show this Wike that too much of unguided uttrances is not good. |
Cantonese:There is no sense there? Court judgement are based on legality not emotions and morality. Why was your Wike seems sceptical about the outcome at the supreme court because he knew his bidding power ends at the High court. Look at the cases he was referring to? Rotimi Amechi and Faleke are all pre election matters. |
PrinceOfLagos:All the power that Wike has is based on his influence in the judiciary and it's becoming too obvious. There is no doubt that the High court ruling against Umahi lacks merits and does not agree with the relevant sections of the Constitution where he based his judgement. It was also Wike who influenced the same judge ruling on the requested amendment of the electoral act days before Umahi's case. The Judge is working for the opposition PDP and the ruling APC should wake up from their slumper. He need to be investigated. This classes of judges who has rendered themselves partisan will only end up ridiculing the entire Judiciary and making their verdict unacceptable by Nigerians. The string operation by the DSS carried out on some perceived corrupt judges still remains one of the reasons some Judges are hell bent in going against the ruling APC. Wike had the effrontery to challenge the FG on vat collection because he knows how to do his bidding with the Judiciary especially at the High Court level. The supreme Court ruling on Beyelsa State where the wife of a prominent PDP member and former PDP governor was not only sitting but leading the panel of justices will tell you that there have been an unbearable Injustice to the APC. We all remembered that the APC won that election and because it has to favour the PDP, election votes in this case do not belong to the party but individuals cabdidates whereas in Umahi's case it belongs to the party. |
Governors who were unable to govern their states. Bunch of clones. |
Agbegbaorogboye:My dear justice is not based on morality or emotion it is clearly on legality. It is crystal clear that the opposition PDP is have strong influence on the judiciary especially at the High court level. The judgement of Inyang was obviously an influenced verdict which is very damaging to the Judiciary because very soon the decision of the courts will loss it effects as people will have no trust in them anymore. The judge is working for the PDP simple, considering his two rulings recently on the matters instituted by the PDP. On the removal of a state governor from office the Constitution is clear about the conditions. Anyone that has moral reason why the situation should change should pursue constitutional amendment. Where was Wike and PDP when Obaseki of Edo State decamped from the APC to the PDP and also Otorm of Benue left APC to the PDP. He who comes for equity should come with a clean hand. The APC has a problem of not being a United party if not, someone like Wike should not have had the chances to rant nonsense just to ridicule the ruling APC.. |
anyilalaz:Don't mind the Judge, it's clear he is working for the PDP. |
Malory:E pain you? |
cooljude:Hmmmmm, if these workers didn't receive their wages you will say it's failure of the government, what a hypocrisy. It so bad that people like you never want to hear any good news. May God deliver you. |
Searchingvictor:Talk your own, leave Nigerians out of it. You that is condemning others should come and contest for the position. |
So what about the CNN report on the outcome of the judicial panel of enquiry? Was the panel of enquiry set up by CNN? Was CNN part of the enquiry? They are quick to echo the submission of the report of an independent panel of enquiry set up by the Lagos State government. It's only gullible Nigerian that will go by this inglorious journalism by a foreign media. Every well meaning Nigerian should appreciate the Lagos State government for their efforts so far and wait to see the detailed report and recommendation of the enquiry. |
ChimaAdeoye:Go and do a better research on this, no need wasting time to educate you. |
te author=PerfectlyPerfect post=106116167] If the government provides favorable policies and environment for businesses to grow, Nigeria will evolve into an export-centric country but how do you expect businesses to grow when all the policies of this government has been killing businesses? In case you don't know, these policies affect you and I and not the elites. Na US dey suffer am. Even if cooking gas is sold at ₦1000 or kg the elites can afford it with money stolen from public coffers, na me and u go hear am. Major companies are/have migrated to neighbouring countries due to these policies, we've been seeing the news on nairaland. We've never had it so bad. All we've been hearing are excuses and useless reasons. The billions of dollars they claimed will be used to fix the refineries, do you know they could've used it to build new and more modern refineries? You and I know that my money will enter into private pockets. I really don't understand how you guys don't seem to know that these people are making policies to make people poorer, and they're doing it on purpose. It's someone who has an empty stomach that'll demand for better welfare, a hungry man will manage any crumbs thrown to him. It's something they've used in the North and now they're trying to replicate it across the country. Las las, na still me and u go suffer am. Even if the naira falls to ₦1000 to $1, it's actually to my advantage because I earn in hard currency
Please can you name one or two of these unfavorable policies of the FG and suggest what could have been done otherwise. |
prigoz:Ortom has a responsibility for Benue people, as the governor of his state and chief security officer let him tell us what his achievement are during these years. Like Buhari, he too did some appointments into different positions, he should tell us how he has achieved alot from his balanced appointment. This man is just too lazy and complaining at all time. Other governors are taking advantage of their constitutional powers to bring development to their people. Most appointment of the president are subject to approval from the NA. He is free to go to court and challenge any unlawful appointment by the president |
PerfectlyPerfect:Orton should concentrate on governing his people and give them the dividends of democracy. There are both elected office holders. He is busy challenging the president as if he has no responsibility for the people of Benue state. It's time these incompetent state governors stop hiding under the perceived lapses of the FG as they are both answerable to the people at their different levels. Let Ortom tell us what he has done to solve the problem of Benue people. As a Chief executive let him tell us how he has balanced the appointments in his state. If the president has breach any section of the Constitution he should go to court and stop all these noise making. |
Fahdiga:Ignorance is one of Nigerians greatest challenge. This loan is already part of the 2021 appropriation act passed into law and form part of the medium term expenditure framework. One of the sources of financing our annual budget is through borrowing. |
Why is it that only the doctors are on strike because they are allegedly being neglected by the government? Are doctors the only employees in the health sector? |
baresi:Who are ones responsible for the insecurity? Is it the government that is killing Nigerians? People like you in politics are the ones sponsoring this insecurity just to claim they said it earlier. The wickedness of Nigerians is indeed consuming them, man inhumanity to it fellow man. Not until we change from our evil ways, this is just the beginning of it all. |
SchoolGate:True talk. That is their clear strategy to discredit the present government. They think most reasonable Nigerians don't know. They should come and take over power come 2023 let us all see. Not until Nigerians agree to peaceful opposition politics no matter who will be in power, security will continue to be worse in the country. |
flokii:Opposition politics, the more you look the less you see that is even if you have eyes at all. |
chiiraq802:How is Buhari the cause of the attack on NDA? The insecurity in the country today is as a result of dirty opposition politics in the country. You can go bury your head in shame. Evil people. |
yanabasee1:How come you fit BUY? It's not about the cost but affordability. So if you can buy, there is no problem. |
APC will shot himself in the foot continue zamfara verdict await Apc[/quote How is Zamfara today? |

EDO NO BE LAGOS BUT AN INGRATE WILL ALWAYS BE AN INGRATE
