Well i have bern seeing this xiaomi TV on jumia.

After great reviews about their phones here on nsiraland and their 4k tvs on online media abroad,
I decided to buy this TV from jumia( my first time shopping thru jumia).
The first thing i noticed on arrival was how light the TV was compared to my Samsung.i liked that.
Then i hit a brick wall.....
This morning, i connected my decoder to the AV ports and discivered there was no signal. I connected my Samsung to decodrer via same AV port and same cable and it was showing.

I just pack the thing for one corner.


What could be wrong? Is AV port not supported or this is a faulty unit.
Please if you have this make or type of tv or know someone who does, kindly help me confirm if this is normal.

Theirs phones are still awesome. A colleague uses one.
Is this TV from xiaomi or my naija brothers are at it again. The reviews online in US and elsewhere and even on quora are encouraging.

During the past 2 months shotdown, I had almost zero income, I could have taken loan of 300k from paylater, 50k, from opay, 28k from branch, 30k from quickcash etc. I was bombarded with offers as one with great credit rating.
Nna, I knew my income had been reduced and hence cut me expenses, from diesel for generator to fuel for cars and eating out. Ie food delivery etc.
I survived and came out debtless today.

On the other hand I know lots of folks that indulged in the "free loan" money now wallowing in debt.

Same applies to Nigeria, taking debt instead of tightening your belt.

How long does it take to mature and the spec of seeds that are desired?

I wont be really involved in much of the farming process as i am currently working, but my Aunt who is a farming enthusiast may be available to guide the processes.
I just want to have my own knowledge too.

I am doing this as a small investment and not as a hobby.

Depending on what his job was in the private sector, he can start a consulting gig with the skills and experience he has gotten on the job over the years.

About skills, it depends on him.... Is he a tech-savvy person? If yes, he can go into learning stuffs along the multimedia field: photography, videography/cinematopgraphy, graphics design, it's kinder easy to get jobs/freelance along these line as they don't take much time when there's real passion.

If he's more of a hands-on person, he can go into professional painting (painting of houses/making of paints), majoring on a particular part of auto mechanics (electrical, gearbox, engine, ac), he can also learn installation of CCTV and or Solar Powered Systems.


Importantly, as he's been a pillar for your family all along, you all should not just help with words of encouragement. You all should put hands together, no matter how little, pool up some funds as your abilities can and surprise him with it... Trust me, it will mean the heavens to him.

Go for HSE and other relevant certifications in oil/gas firm. Leave MSC/PhD since lecturing isn't your interest. When you've gotten to a comfortable spot in oil/gas, you can proceed with postgraduate studies to enhance your pay and promotion.

I just want to this for my own personal satisfaction first and foremost.

For someone who studied Applied Microbiology and Brewing, which of these M.Sc/Ph.D course would be suitable,bearing in mind that i am actually looking at consultancy, oil and gas, and government job, with lecturing as the least interest.:
1) Petroleum And Environmental Microbiology

2) Health, Environment, safety and security.

I plan on picking one and going up to Ph.D level.
