Maradona is a legend,i love him dearly for his contributions to football, but as a coach the guy is yet to find his bearing, maybe he would have succeeded in other areas of the game and not as a coach.though Amodu is not a good coach either but in my book he has done better than Maradona.

Foreign AffairsRe: Nigerian-Yoruba Criminal Gangs In America Busted Yet Again by snapshot: 9:56am On Sep 10, 2009
And what is our so called government doing about situations like this? absolutely nothing, even when we hear the hue and cry about fighting corruption,it becomes an avenue for them to corruptly enrich themselves.for me this is a case of[lie papa like pikin/i].it is a case of monkey doing what other monkeys are doing.it is the result of the failure of the political class. When you see a public office holder in Nigeria who will hire tugs to rig an election in his favour then in his first year in office he is counting billions,if the followers of such leaders do same people should not be taken aback.shocked                                                                                                                                                           In Nigeria today a lot of young people are leaning towards crime, because there seems to be gold at the end of that tunnel, and if you dare challenge this mindset, some of them would even mention the names of prominent individuals in this country that are wealthy because they are corrupt and names of relations that are impoverished because they discharge their duties with honesty during their working life, this is the kind of culture that would emerge when a government care less about the economic salvation of its people, and since Independence no government has shown a genuine commitment in this regard                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Hoeverver, we should not act as if we are living in planet[gushhhhhhhh/i] if we hear about a Nigerian criminal gang in moon or mercury yes mercury.                                                                                                                                                                                                               While i totally condemn any act of criminality, but at the same time subscribing to the Marxist philosophy i think until there is change in our economic realities we are going to see more of these shameful acts that will completely destroy our already battered image as a people.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Finally i think there are criminals everywhere, the worst crimes in this world are mot commit ed by Nigerians, but the difference is that in Nigeria nothing is done to fight crime, but from the lifestyle of our leaders people are actually encouraged to embrace it.  Thoses of us                                                                                                                                                     that have decided not to join these gang of thieves are the hope and light of this country,i no won shout.
PoliticsRe: Has Dora Akunyili Lost Her Integrity? by snapshot: 1:14pm On Sep 09, 2009
Evil communication truly corrupts good manners,Dora may have started off well in NAFDAC,this made her the darling of many both in and outside Nigeria.Instead of protecting her image jealously which she has put her life on the line to earn, she rather allowed the corrupt cabal that brought Nigeria to her present inglorious state in need of image laundering.Towards the end of Obasonjo's administration Dora to me was acting more like PDP's campaign manager and not like NAFNAC boss, maybe in her ratiocination that is her own little way to say thank you to baba for making her head NAFDAC,but what baffles me is that Yar'adua who sings the rule of law like his hit single will use Dora in what even a mad man incapable of clear reasoning will described as a show of shame in Ekiti state,[i pity Dora],now it is re-branding like the amnesty package for ND militants which in itself would not solve the problem of that region,RE-BRANDING Nigeria is a joke,by the way i think the politicians trying to re-brand NIgeria are the ones who needs to be re-branded.If we can get it right in our political space every other thing shall be added on to us,[abi no bi so?]

PoliticsRe: Tom Polo's 'list'of Name Exposed !Jonathan And Ibori Named ! by snapshot: 12:02am On Aug 30, 2009
it is possible that Jonathan and Ibori visited Tompolo's camp on behalf of Yar'adua's government to persuade the Niger Delta freedom fighter to eschew a genuine strugle for a fraud called "amnesty" but chief governmet who has tasted the bitter pill of betrayal from the hands of our insincere political class must have rejected this offer, little wonder Yar'adua unleashed the full might of the Nigerian army on Tompolo's camp 5,which was long deserted by Tompolo and his boys befor JTF fired their first shot, Polo saw the writing on the wall.Nigerians should not be deceived, this government like previous ones is not ready to solve the ND problems,if not why is the president avoiding issues raised by genuine agitators but choose to sell to us that sham called amnesty huh
