No agency is perfect, this is the only point you made, others are gibberish. Packages from direct hire is better than Passport USA, Avant, shearwater etc. A proverb says: what elders see sitting, when people like you stand up they won’t be able to see it. I won’t respond to your next comment if you decide to quote me because either you have not experienced the system or too myopic to think or you are just being stupid.
Nurses after experiencing the system will come back to this post. This I am sure.

Run away from these agencies, look for a direct hire and make sure your pay off/ break Off contract is less or equal to $20k

Please can you share the questions you had?

Some I can remember:
1) Tell me about your nursing practice after graduation
2) which unit do you work?
3) what cases do you encounter?
4) tell me about the most difficult cases you have encountered?
5) how long have you been practicing?
6) let me see your current employment letter here in Nigeria.....
7) What is the pay rate offered by your agency....
How did you get to know about your agency.
9) why did I sponsor myself for NCLEX instead of looking for an agency that will sponsor you..
10) etc etc
All these took less than 10 minutes, my answers were specific, didn't beat round the bush.

Hi everyone, just had my interview @U.S. embassy Lagos. Approved, although yet to collect International passport.. I wish everyone that is still in the process, best of luck. Don't give up.

Does PD change from the one given during i140? Or its same PD at the NVC stage. Also, I would like to know if I have the following steps correctly:
1...Perm
2....i140 application and approval
3.....file is transfered to NVC
3a......NVC notes DQ (documents meet expectations)
3b......set interview date at consulate
3c .......Transfer case back to Consulate
4.......Interview at Comsulate (Green card approval)

Anyone know the approximate timelines from after i140 approval till GC approval?

PD is the same. Concerning the steps, you are in order. However 3c is transfer to consulate not "back".

I140 approval to GC depends on a lot of factors 70 to 80 % on immigration laws prevalent when you qualify at each stage. When i140 is approved, NVC is another ball game on it's own. However, it will take maximum of 3months there to be DQ currently. Prior to now, it's usually less than a month.
Now, after the DQ, welcome to the backlog ....the duration of getting an interview after DQ is uncertain. However if you are lucky and get a date for interview. It will take approximately 1to 3 weeks to receive your visa if your interview was successful.

3months + uncertain time + 3weeks = ?

Some of the questions I know:
1) how long have you been a nurse
2) who is your employer
3) where will you be working in U.S.
4) who is going with you/ who are your dependents
5) was an interview conducted before you got employed by the agency
6) etc

Latest news for nurses: Massive interview for December/January. It's about to go down. Everyone cross your t"s and dot your I"s. Package your documents.

very possible. 9 months is even possible. The factors ranging from immigration laws, agencies not being proactive sometimes etc are the culprit for the delay

Nothing yet from our side though received 60days waiting mail few days ago.

You mean you passed nclex 2019 and yet to land in USA.. Wow. This nclex route is something else

This is not about when I passed NCLEX, it's about first, the annoying Trump proclamation and second COVID-Lockdown. I supposed to be DQ June 2020, but different agencies refusing to move cases foward pushed it to 2021.The process is not that long if not that I was unfortunate to be affected by the afore mentioned factors. On a normal, the process maximum is 18 months.

Everyone, but it's 2020

2020, at least they have started issuing IL for EB3. Probably by next month, 2021 will start getting. One good thing about Eb3 application is that they are fewer in number compared to other categories.

January to May DQ are getting IL.....

The issue now is that Expedite requests take so long to be reviewed.
Some say 2 months.

I know God will definitely perfect all.

Ask your agency to utilize the below statement from NVC website if they have not done so and apply for expedited request. Also those checking out this thread without commenting should also do the same.

Expedite declined on the 29th of July.
I still believe God is on my side and will expedite for me.
God's will is always perfect in my life. He will make everything beautiful in His time.

Welcome on board, I am still waiting.....I believe before October I will get a date. The wait is tiring but we just have to be patient.

Currently at NVC stage, please how quick do you get DQed? though based on my calculation is like 6weeks.

4 to 6 weeks. Although it sometime depend on workload at NVC. I have seen someone DQ at 14 days, 21days and 30 days

One can't really judge these US nursing agencies now because of 1) the banned Nigeria had and 2) Covid 19. Everyone"s case and experience is different. Those awaiting embassy interview can join my thread and comment.

Please by guided by the following before commenting:
1) It is not agency specific ( Don't mention your agency)
2) comment on your priority date.
3) comment on when you are Documentarily Qualified.
4) Comment if you were expedited or not, and when you received a reply.
5) Comment on the documents you have prepared/ photocopied awaiting interview.
6) Finally comment on how your embassy interview was and some of the questions asked.

Agency filled regular processing...7 months ago, no RFE , no denial

I-140 approved, now at NVC processing....I hereby encourage everyone in one stage or the other, that we will get there.. Stay Positive..

Avant is 5000 hours , med pro is 3 years .

It's just 2 to 3 yrs for all agency...Avant pay is about $24/hr , they will also give you about $2500 when you come over to U.S.

I believe whether it's a 2/3 ,yrs contract, one need to liase and get a side hustle. Before you say Jack, the 2-3 yrs will be over. You can now decide to quit from the agency hospital or continue with the pay raise..Alphaslice decided to quit nursing practice and he is living his life, I will consider quitting after my contract....
