It is no longer a story nor a hear say, but it is now official that the results of the just concluded General election in Anambra State has been announced, and the winner is...

WILLIE OBIANO of APGA who won the election with a very wide margin, defeating the recession party called APC.

Prior to this election, a famous Zone B of Nairaland who also happens to be a transgendered was all over here ranting and disturbing the internet space on how Tony Nwoye of APC was going to win the election with a landslide victory, but alas, since the winner of the election was announced which is the indefatigable Willie Obiano of APGA was declared winner, the Zone B transgendered is no where to be found!

Now, my humble question is Where is NgeneUkwenu? tongue tongue tongue

PoliticsThe Slaves Of Nigeria: Femi Fani-kayode by snowwhyte607(op): 10:00am On Nov 03, 2017
Many years ago the irrepressable Hausa leader who hailed from Kano and who was the founder of the radical leftist political party called NEPU, Mallam Aminu Kano, said,
“Until the Fulani Emirs are toppled northern Nigeria will not know peace”.
History has proved him right. The feudal structure of the north and its deeply conservative ethos has resulted in nothing but retrogression, poverty, disease, radical Islam, terror and killer herdsmen.
Yet the problem goes much further than the north: it extends to the whole of Nigeria. Worse still it has affected the pysche of the Nigerian people and left them with a very low self-esteem.
We have become victims and casualties of our modern history and little more than miserable serfs in a Fulani-controlled artificial, man-made vassal state which deems non-Fulanis as nothing more than the biblical “hewers of the wood” and “drawers of the water”.
In our very own eyes we are nothing and in our hearts we believe that the Fulani are everything. We bow and tremble before them, we jump when they sneeze or express their displeasure and we smile and commend them when they commit all manner of abominable atrocities and slaughter.
The bitter truth, which few wish to hear and even fewer are prepared to acknowledge, is that the fundamental problem of the Nigerian is that subconciously he has accepted the erroneous and false notion that he is a slave to the Fulani.
He has been robbed of his identity, history and culture. He does not know where he is coming from or where he is going.
He suffers from a grave, crippling and debilitating inferiority complex which has robbed him of his ability to think in a rational way or protest any act of injustice and barbarity that he or she is subjected to by his Fulani slave-masters.
This applies to every Nigerian both from the north and the south. The challenge of our time is to shatter that notion, free their minds and break their chains in spite of their weakness and their reluctance to fight for their own freedom.
For example look at a man like General Yakubu Gowon our former Head of State. The Fulanis have been slaughtering his Plateau people for years yet he cannot bring himself to condemn them publicly.
Instead he says things like “restructuring Nigeria is impossible” which is exactly what the slave masters want to hear.
This is one of the most shameful and retrogressive assertions in contemporary Nigerian history and sadly it comes from a man who claims to pray.
Has Gowon forgotten that Bible says “with God ALL things are possible?”
Again hear what Gowon had to say about the cause of the Nigerian civil war 47 years after it ended.
He said Colonel Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the leader of Biafra, caused the civil war by lying about what transpired in Aburi. This is false. Ojukwu told no lie.
Gowon agreed to all the terms in Aburi but when he got home he reneged on the agreement simply because the power behind the throne and the de facto leader of Nigeria, a Fulani army officer by the name of General Murtala Mohammed who led the July 29th 1966 northern officers “revenge coup” and who put Gowon in power, said so.
Gowon’s concessions at Aburi were unacceptable to the Fulani ruling class so the whole thing was thrown out of the window. This is what led to the civil war.
Sadly the tales of woe and servility do not stop there. Look at a man like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has suffered every form of insult and indignity over the last two years from the Fulani CPC and President that he helped put into power in 2015.
He literally helped to enslave his Yoruba people and fellow southerners and he consolidated and fortified the relentless subjugation, bondage and humiliation that the people of the Middle Belt have been subjected to by the Fulani for the last 100 years.
Yet despite that he now says he still “has confidence in Buhari”. Poor him.
Does slavery and the selling of one’s soul, heritage and kinsmen not have limits? Is there no pride and dignity left?
Must some live on their knees and lead others into servitude and perdition? By the time Buhari finishes with him he will wish he had never been born!
By the time the Fulani finish with Nigeria we will all be speaking Fufude and have a cow in our back yard.
Permit me to conclude this contribution with perhaps the most graphic and appauling example of crawling servility and protecting and serving the master’s agenda.
This was provided by none other than Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who went to Lagos and told a gathering of Christians that “nobody can Islamise Nigeria”.
That is exactly what the leaders of Egypt and Turkey once said. They both used to be 99% Christian until they let down their guard. Now they are both Muslim countries with tiny Christian minorities that suffer untold hardship and persecution.
Leaders must LEARN from history and STOP IGNORING it.
The truth is that Osinbajo betrayed the Church by pairing with a man who HATES southerners and Christians but because that man is a Fulani it did not matter to him.
He went on bended knee and served his principal as if the man were God. And for him he was prepared to betray not just his kinsmen and peiple but also his faith.
And the result is as follows: under Buhari the head of EVERY military and security agency in our country except for one is headed by a northern Muslim and every parastatal in the energy sector is headed by a northerner.
Finally consider this:
The D-8 countries are Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey. They all have one thing in common: ISLAM.
Osinbajo talks down on the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for raising the alarm of islamisation. Nigeria is now a member of EVERY international Islamic organisation yet, according to him, there is no islamisation agenda!
Are we to keep quiet until they either pull down every Church or announce it officially? Somebody needs to talk to the VP. He has forgotten why he was named the running mate to Buhari instead of his mentor, Bola Tinubu.
He needs to study the book of Esther before it is too late!
May God deliver us from these slaves and their relentless masters!
Such is the disgust that many feel about the shameful behaviour and self-serving utterances of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo that the President of CAN, Rev. Samson Ayokunle, was constrained to warn him and advise him to educate himself and stop attempting to prove his loyalty to Buhari by slamming Christians in the country. Ayokunle has displayed courage and fortitude by offering this timely admonition. Let us hope that Osinbajo listens.
Permit me to conclude with the words of President Abraham Lincoln. He said,
“to sin by silence when we should protest makes cowards out of men”.
The Nigerian people have much to learn from this great man’s insight and wise counsel. May God grant us courage and faith.

We are expected to know the Bible inside out and meditate on things you have read.

There is nothing like favourite word or verse in the Bible.

You cannot pick and choose from the words of God , unless you want to write your own Bible.

Today a particular verse may be applicable to you and in another time ,a different one. Even at times , you cannot receive those promises you cherish in the Bible without obeying the warnings from God.

You get warnings , revelations and promises from the Bible. The warnings are as important as the promises.

Don't think any verse is more important than another.

Ignorance at its peak. Not all organizations are labeled terrorist around the world. Some organizations are labelled terrorist by the home country but is seem as legitimate by other countries. Hamas is seen as terrorists by Israel but is seen as legitimate representative of the Palestinians by other Arab and European countries. Same with IRA, ANC, PKK, Muslim Brotherhood, and lots of others.
Your own ignorance is EPIC! How can you compare Hamas which is into arms struggle, which in several occasions has fired rockets and thrown bombs as well as suicide bombings with IPOB which has not fired even a single shot at anyone, but rather has conducted their activities and rallies in the most peaceful manner ever recorded by any organization championing for self determination? What IPOB is clamoring for is a simple Referendum for Biafrans to determine their fate which is a legitimate clamor!

So you think that if IPOB were to be a terrorist organization, the U.S. government would give them permission to protest knowing fully well the consequences of such, and why didn't you ask yourself why the U.S. and UN rejected a counter protest from Pro-Nigerian government protesters? Or you think you are more knowledgeable than the UN that enshrined the right of indigenous people to self determination in their Charter?

Now my prayers for you is to receive sense, and stop being biased and emotional in all your doings!

PoliticsArmy/ipob Clash; Beyond The Rhetorics. By Charles Ogbu by snowwhyte607(op): 9:55pm On Sep 11, 2017
THE AFARA-UKWU ARMY/IPOB CLASH; BEYOND THE RHETORICS.
By Charles Ogbu.
Yesterday's clash between men of the Nigerian army and members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Afara-ukwu, the hometown of the Biafran leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has further proven that indeed, for Nigeria as a country, the Colonial Masters left too early.
According to Abia state police chief, Leye Oyebade who spoke to Premium Times via phone, the military were parading a new Armoured Personnel Carrier and passed through Nnamdi Kanu's residence.
On the side of the Military, the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Major Oyegoke Gbadamosi, stated that troops of 145 Battalion were carrying out a "Show Of Force" near the residence of the IPOB leader when IPOB members blocked them and they fired shots in the air to disperse them
IPOB insists their leader's home was invaded by Nigerian soldiers leaving 3 of their members with gun shot injuries.
Beyond these claims and counter claims and regardless of the account you chose to believe, there are fundamental questions that must not just be asked but equally answered by those concerned.
And here are the questions:
What is the Nigerian Military doing on the streets of the Southeast which is adjudged the most peaceful region in the country?
Has the Military now replaced the police as law enforcement agency? The army has absolutely no business with unarmed peaceful agitators. Even in countries with voodoo democracies, routine law enforcement is the job of the police.
What manner of national army carries out "Show Of Force" by 6:30pm with armoured tanks in a rusty village in a region filled with tension and widespread perception that the military has been deployed with the sole intent to kill and maimhuh
Where is common sense in these?
Who deploys heavily armed soldiers against unarmed youths peacefully asking to be allowed to determine their future via a referendum?
If this was not a calculated attempt to provoke IPOB members so as to have a justification for mass murder, why would the army leave every other road and chose Nnamdi Kanu's residence to do "Show Of Force"??
Ironically,
This same Military is not doing "Show Of Force" with the boko haram terrorists who have killed thousands of Nigerians and displaced millions.
This same Military is not doing "Show Of Force" with the marauding fulani herdsmen who have acquired a reputation for killing and maiming non fulani-Muslim Nigerians and even going to Defence Headquarters to own up to it
Few days ago, about 28 innocent villagers were mercilessly slaughtered by fulani herdsmen with known faces, names and addresses in Plateau state.
Our almighty military with their armoured tanks and "Show Of Force" were no where to be found. Where is state-sanctioned violence when you most needed it??
Criminally funny enough, boko haram terrorists once rated the world deadliest terror group are currently enjoying a juicy amnesty package while fulani militants once rated the world 4th deadliest terror groups currently have a dedicated taskforce made up of these same Nigerian soldiers gifting them with 24/7 protection.
A govt that negotiates with terrorists from the same religion and region as the President but turns around to visit unarmed aggrieved youths from another religion and region with armoured tanks and "Show Of Force" is a rogue govt.
Quite frankly, there can be no argument that under President Muhammadu Buhari, the Tukur Buratai-led Nigerian army has almost completed its metamorphosis into a bunch of commonsensically bankrupt killing machine full of brawn but devoid of brain.
The fact that the Military appears oblivious of the fact that its invasion of civilian neighbourhood with tanks is a grave legal, moral and commonsensical anomaly is the greatest tragedy of it all. But in fairness to the soldiers, the fault is not entirely theirs. When you have a Commander-In-Chief who thinks its normal for his soldiers to kill hundredS of Shiite youths, women and children in Zaria just to make way for his army Chief, you'd be tempted to see the invasion of civilian space with tanks as nothing.
It does appear though that in Buhari, this country has the singular misfortune of being cursed with a president who seem very determined to escort her to Golgotta.
Let me quickly leave this here with a piece of advise for those who think guns and tanks will stop this current Biafra agitation:
The best way of fuelling an agitation is by trying to suppress it.

PoliticsKenya Supreme Court Orders Re-run Of Presidential Polls by snowwhyte607(op): 12:51pm On Sep 01, 2017
Nairobi, Kenya | AFP | Kenya’s Supreme Court on Friday declared the results of last month’s presidential poll “invalid, null and void” and ordered the election be re-run within 60 days.
“The presidential election held on August 8 was not conducted in accordance with the constitution,” said Chief Justice David Maraga, ruling in favour of the opposition which challenged the declaration of President Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner.
Maraga said this was a majority decision, with two judges dissenting.
The shock ruling was a rare example of a poll result being overturned, with Maraga saying the election commission (IEBC) “failed, neglected or refused to conduct the presidential election in a manner consistent with the dictates of the constitution”.
He validated opposition leader Raila Odinga’s argument that there had been “irregularities and illegalities”, notably in the transmission of election results.

PoliticsA Colony Of Monkeys And A Congress Of Baboons; By Femi Fani Kayode by snowwhyte607(op): 4:31pm On Aug 31, 2017
On August 3rd 1857, in what can only be described as one of the most profound, moving, passionate and inspiring speeches in human history, Frederick Douglas, the former black slave and the great freedom fighter and philosopher said, inter alia, the following:

“Let me give you a word of the philosophy of reform. The whole history of the progress of human liberty shows that all concessions yet made to her august claims have been born of earnest struggle.

The conflict has been exciting, agitating, all-absorbing, and for the time being, putting all other tumults to silence. It must do this or it does nothing. If there is no struggle there is no progress.

Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters.

This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle.

Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both.

The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress. In the light of these ideas, Negroes will be hunted at the North and held and flogged at the South so long as they submit to those devilish outrages and make no resistance, either moral or physical.

Men may not get all they pay for in this world, but they must certainly pay for all they get. If we ever get free from the oppressions and wrongs heaped upon us, we must pay for their removal.

We must do this by labor, by suffering, by sacrifice, and if needs be, by our lives and the lives of others”.

These powerful and insightful words are as true and as relevant today as they were 150 years ago when they were first spoken.

They are words that have universal application to humanity and that have been recited and repeatedly chanted like a haunting and inspiring mantra by virtually every notable prisoner of conscience, freedom fighter and agitator for equity, liberty and human rights over the last one hundred and fifty years.

They are particularly relevant in the Nigeria of today where tyranny and injustice runs deep, where any form of resistance or opposition is regarded as subversion and is met with brutality and lethal force and where any telling criticism of the ruling APC party, government officials or the President is regarded as “hate speech” that must be supressed.

Permit me to give just one example of the latter in this contribution which, in my view, clearly reflects the nervous and obsessive disposition, the sheer madness and the sociopathic narcissism of the Buhari administration.
.

A few days ago I had a revealing, probing and in-depth interview with a leading television station about President Muhammedu Buhari, his record in office over the last two years, his health and his governent.

Lai Mohammed, our notoriously excitable and mendatious Minister of Information, was so upset and disturbed by the contents of that discussion that he personally called the television station that recorded it and told them that the government would close them down if they dared to air it.

His call was followed by an equally threatening one from the chief executive of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation who issued the same threat.

Yet it did not stop there. Femi Adesina, the President’s spokesman, almost defecated in his pants when he got a whisper of some of the things that I had revealed and he wondered out loud how I managed to get all the facts and information that I shared during the interview.

He begged the station not to air it as well and also threatened them with dire consequences if they did so. Sadly the station in question got cold feet, succumbed to the threats and fell for the blackmail.

I am not surprised by this and neither do I blame them for doing so. I say this because they, more than any other, have been subjected to all manner of harrasment over the years yet despite that they remain one of the most balanced, professional, forthright and courageous media outfits in the country till today.

They are indeed the first amongst equals but they also know the monsters that they are dealing with when it comes to the Buhari administration and they appreciate the fact that they have to be extreemly careful even when it comes to reporting what are essentially notorious facts.

They have to be even more careful when it comes to allowing strong opposition figures like yours truly and other non-conformists and perceived enemies of the government to use their powerful platform to air their personal opinions and strong dissenting views.

The truth is that this government is vicious and dangerous and, in my view, they are only one step away from “disappearing” (Argentinian style) media practitioners, publishers, essayists, columnists and writers that are not prepared to bow down to their unholy will and lick their filthy, unclean and unwashed posterior.

Simply put they are a chicken-hearted government that are terrified of their own shadow.

They are a government of uncircumcised Philistines who were put in power by heathans and unbelievers and who attract and enjoy the support of every low-life and apostate from the south side of hell.

Nothing terrifies them more than public scrutiny and the glorious light of accountability and truth.

From the top to the bottom they are all the same: gangsterish and paranoid charlatans who flourish in darkness and who thrive in division, conflict, lies, deceit, suppression, threats, murder, violence and intimidation.

Femi Adesina’s cowardice and perfidy particularly is nothing new. This is the same man that threatened the publisher of two leading national newspapers to close my weekly column and that has been begging and offering inducements to virtually every online magazine that I write for to stop publishing my essays.

That is how fearful, feeble, powerless, shameless, cowardly and paranoid the Buhari government has become. That is the level of their depravity and that is the level that they have degenerated to.

They cannot take criticism and they cannot bear any form of factual and in-depth analysis of their abysmal and woeful performance.

They do not have the stomach or intellectual stamina for a strong and lively challenge, for what I would describe as “hardtalk” or indeed for any form of virile debate and contentious public discourse.

Simply put they behave like a congress of baboons and a colony of monkeys. They always run away from a real fight and a real debate and they are terrified of those that are ready to take them on.

Instead of attempting to defend themselves in the court of public opinion they seek to silence the opposition by the power of their might and they seek to supress dissent, muscle the media and bury the truth.

Despite their sheer desperation to hold on to power at any cost and to cower the people and in spite of their despicable, tyrannical and inglorious mindset I have the following to say to them: like satan, your time is short.

You oppress the people and whip them into line, not by good works or inspiring leadership, but through the usage of nothing but intimidation, lies, threats, blackmail, disinformation, witchunts, fear, hate, division and terror. Your tactics are as despicable as they are deplorable.

Yet despite your subjugation and tyranny it will soon be over for you. The earth and the heavens have rejected you, the elemental forces oppose you and the Nigerian people secretly despise you. This is the doing of the Lord and it is marvelous in our sight.

You cannot wash away the blood that you have shed. You cannot erase the memory of your failures and your atrocities and those that you have humiliated, destroyed, insulted, tortured, incarcerated and subjected to persecution and the most vicious and callous media trials.

You cannot silence the voice of the voiceless, you cannot intimidate the servant of truth and you cannot supress the champion of the oppressed.

The finger of the Lord has marked you down for shame, torment and destruction and the sword of the Lord has wounded you beyond redemption. The rats were just the beginning. More miracles and wonders will soon come.

The truth is that no matter how hard you try to put out the raging fire and the crisis of confidence that has afflicted you it will not stop.

Your days are numbered and your end is nigh. The Ancient of Days has spoken and He shall perfect it.
