Thanks to all the gurus in the house, I have been a silent follower though asked some few questions earlier and I got quick response. You guys are doing a great job here.

My visa was approved last week,
Transcript:

VO: Good morning, your document
ME: Good morning (gave her both my document & my wife's).
VO: You are going to Nova southeastern University, FL
ME: Yes, for masters in Computer software Engineering
VO: Tell me a research topic in computer software engineering you are interested in
ME: (Chai, wasn't prepared for this question) well, Computer software interaction
VO: Can you discuss more about it?
ME: Sure, (I really don't know much, it's just one of the courses I am to register for) computer interaction basically defines the connection between softwares ( gave examples of some software in the Banking industry and how they interact lol).
VO: okay, why Nova?
ME: I actually applied to two schools, picked NOVA because I was impressed with their timely response to enquiries. I also had a good relationship with my program advisor, (mentioned her name) she was really helpful .
VO: How long have you been married?
ME & Wife: 3 months
VO: OK, congrats visa approved. Kindly pick your document at..........didn't wait to hear the rest. Took the white paper and left happily.

Wow!
Congratulations sir, that's God's grace in action
Enjoy your new beginning and it shall be fruitful.

MECHANICALENG:
Good afternoon everyone, Please house where in the passport does *passport book number* located?? Or what does it means??
Thank you

The data page at the right top corner of it that starts with "A"

Walspring:
Tracking is not available for regular mail

Gbam! thanks for the classic input. How about the duration?

Walspring:
Yes if the student is admissible with his/her documents after reviewing it..

Okay boss

mryoung16:
2m? Based on last batch, some submitted 700k Nd some 1m, however, considering the fact that things has really changed in the country.. 1.2 or 1.5m will surely fly.

If you check the brothers' question it says amount to be in the account to get TRP and visa.. I think

ceiling:
Thanks to good brothers here. pls I want to know the estimated amount an undergraduate must posses for the TRP. or an amount that has to show on the bank statement of his sponsor.
Thanks

2mil upward depending on the number of family

AJANIEmmanuel78:
ok thank u so much

All thanks to God sir
And our boss on this platform might come with further inputs later on
Just be expectant. Shalom!

khulthum:
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE REPLY DIS

Can you request for tracking from the school?

If not then wait for about 2 weeks, though it should not be more than that.

Cc: Walspring

AJANIEmmanuel78:
pls house is Utah a nice place to study at? like i have schools i can apply to there but i just wanna know more about the place because i wanna study my indergraduate studies in the U.S so pls any info i would appreciate...

You can do a research on your own on that.. Google should suffice.

Things to check: Cost of living in that particular city the school is situated and prolly the school academic expenses.

Its not all time the VO asked for that but it is ideal to have it at hand
And for having TOEFL alone, well most folks combined it with GRE to claim some means of funding through some open scholarships based on merits of you UG grade, good TOEFL AND GRE score.

fatanu:
Going for Msc, can't i tender only TOEFL when the VO ask for any standardize test.

A PM would have been cool bro!

SAMUELS3:
Mr. Texrem, please confirm payment. Thank you.

i think it depends on what you're putting in for.. like Bsc good toefl is okay for that while for Msc GRE and TOEFL with good scores is okay too

fatanu:
Hello Guys, i have heard they ask for any standardize test in interview, i have toefl, do i still need to write GRE. My sch does not need gre

LagosismyHome:
No I don't think it has any bearing to rating... Just a money conscious school that all for whatever historical reasons ........

As for rating that info will be on Google or other sites

Okies.. thanks ma'am

Murderer can be in any form, abortion is evil

Good one, don't mind the yeye Lagos link, they probably calculated the T-fare of to and fro abuja to their fees.

All the best and God's favor to you all

Godfavourme:
Good news.

To those of us with laminated certificate, no worries I just confirmed from a reliable source that there's a machine in the Ministry that would be used to remove it.

So, all route to Abuja. I also hrd that it's N300 per copy to authenticate through normal process but N1k per copy through fast track process. Shine your eyes, no let anybody Maga u.

IRE o

Would one use that to rate a school as well or what?

LagosismyHome:
No its just means the school chooses that before they even review any application they want to see if u can afford it ......money conscious style....... some schools do this but I would say very few . ... a good number only ask when it's time to issue i20 .

Walspring:
Exactly before they issue i20 to successful applicants

Does that mean any student they asked is a qualified one already without a formal notification?

What rubbish!
Would he have had time to take selfie if he had had a broken hand? I just don't get the silly thing behind selfie, making me think it's a satanic influenced

christobam01:
Guys I'm about to apply to Lee university with an high SAT score and excellent WAEC result which means I qualify for full scholarship. The problem I have is this,it is stated on their website that I send my financial documents which is really a problem given that my dad's bank account ain't buoyant and I can't ask my aunt for her bank statement until I get d admission.
I know a lot of u guys weren't buoyant financially in Nigeria while applying for admission so ow did u escape d financial statement palaver.

You can equally send your aunt the link to where financial statement is needed so she would understand your plight on that issue.

It'd like they don't accept that anymore

God bless you too sir

Aragon1:
@sobastical thanks bro for your help on this platform and outside aswell..@all happy Sunday and have a blessed week ahead

LostCity:
boss please oh explain, which other seal ?

Someone posted the one for authentication on here its just a seal but won't be seen if you don't take a close look you won't see it while the one for notary has a red seal with signatures.

laryb:
hello ppl.. pls I need a candid advise from you.. I hv a million naira in my account.. pls which country will such amount take me to work and earn a good living..

What's the exchange rate now black market to say

Don't let any agent fool you you can only make them happy by giving them that money any nothing comes out. just decide first on where you wanna go then come back. But to me that money is not enough at least to some certain countries

To me that's child abuse and girl child marriage.
DON'T DO IT

Jesus is Lord!
Why all these in my country nau

ceiling:
