A couple of weeks after Wizkid announced his European tour, the singer performed at the Melkweg concert theatre yesterday to the massive support of fans and Afrobeat enthusiasts in Amsterdam. The Melkweg arena which has served platinum record selling artistes like The Game, Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole amongst others had Wiz performing a medley of his songs including his biggest hits and his more subtle choruses off guest performances. Backed by the live band performance of The Compozers, the audience were thrilled by an energetic Wizkid who delivered a hearty performance as fans sang along where they could and kept their hands in the hair in a show of love when they could not. Wizkid is clearly no longer a Nigerian movement.
