If you have anything to give, please give. It is a confirmed case. My signature has a link to his story on a national newspaper.

TEHN does not handle medical issues. Please help with any support you have. Thank you so much

Yea, I know it's a confirmed case. Once in a while, I do check on his latest post to see how far she's responding to treatment.

I needed some form of assistance from TeHN; hence the reason I asked if one of its members can tell us if they're still active.

I wish one of TeHN's executives can confirm this for those of us that need assistance in one way or the other.

I'll give the little I have tomorrow. I wish your mom a quick recovery.

You're welcome.
Just a quick question, please. What year did you finished your Hnd?

Good to know you attended Akwapoly. That's where I did my ND.

Like you, I'm also skeptical about the school taking this serious but to be sure the receipt you saw is truly what it is and the school played their own part, you'll have to check your admission status online. You can do so by clicking on the link someone dropped here.

Btw, their Uyo office is located at Atiku Abubakar road, close to the state secretariat.

And lastly, don't panic! Do the necessary things before your desired school starts registration and your admission is secured.

You can always reduce your age if you want to, this is Nigeria. If you want to pursue engineering in the university push forward, worry about things you cannot change in the future not cases that you had the power to change. Good luck

You're right, bro.

I'm sorry this is coming late "as usual".

The deadline Jamb gave before it was postponed as of last year was part of the reasons I didn't proceed with it.

I had gone to their PH office to get it done only for the guy to refer me to their Uyo office since it's closer to where I did my ND.

Since I was on IT then, I decided to inform my former boss, so he could at least permit me to travel. But he wouldn't take that from me. It was as bad as that. So, I had to let go.

About it being very tedious? Well, I can't say since I didn't proceed with it.

When to start? The appropriate time to start is now, please. So, when the application list is out, you won't get to over~work yourself.

What to avoid? Please, avoid any form of mistake when filling the form. Ensure your details tally.

N/B: After applying for it, you'll also need to contact your institution to do what they are supposed to do.

And in all, you'll have to spend at least #10,500-#12,500

South west though, note it's for hnd upper credit

In summary, those from SS/SE can only be offered admission based on merits? Right?

If you are from any 19 northern states, or you are yoruba with hnd upper credit. Apply special admission next year, you can contact on whatsapp for more info... Thank God for abu, i will not have forgiven myself for going to poly because of discrimination out there.
To me, i dnt believe in topup programme because the school offering it rake in money only. But abu special admission, you just devote time as you will become like student again.. Was given 300lvl civil engineering i applied and now in 400lvl, paid 32k for last session and 22k this session. I am now enjoying the experience, may be because i am young though, 23yrs thankful to starting poly early .
There are poly lecturer coming for the stuff, infact there is one with pgd and 30yrs that we were admitted together then, though taking lecture with 18 yr old kid might be frustrating

How about those from the South?

You're very wrong. I also offered Engineer in the Society during my HND programme in Electrical Engineering. An HND Engineering Holder is a Technologist, while a B.Eng. Holder is an Engineer. Also, HND is not equivalent to B.Eng. Everyone knows that. But HND + PGD + M.Eng. is greater than B.Eng. That's a fact that no one, not even an Engineering professional body can dispute. I know a lot of Engineers (MNSE and COREN Certified) with this combination.

You're right. My boss a FNSE and COREN registered attended a Polytechnic after which he did his PGD/M.ENG. And he's doing extremely well.

But then, someone that would like to switch to academic needs a degree. What do you think?

my brother,d only advice I can give u is to go do HND,after ur HND ,u can go and do top up(conversion of HND to bsc),d top up program is weekend program, u can be working during the period of ur top up,top up program is 2 years program, #FUOYE,ali hikimoh, kwasu are doing the program

if u say u want to go and start afresh from 100 level

1:there is no 100% assurance DAT u will be offered admission
2:u said u are in mid 20s, let say it age is 24 or 25,by next year u will be 25 or26 (let add 4 years to ur age,it will be 29 or 30)

but if u are doing engineering DAT will be 30 or 31(your age at time of ur graduation)

without considering strike,if we add assu strike or any strike to it DAT will be ...( do d calculation urself too)

wish u best of luck sir

Thanks for your prompt response.

I'm a female please. I'll be 26 this year and it's an Engineering course.

Can someone just advise me on what to do now, please?

I had 2.76 (Lower credit) in my OND and I'm expected to go back for HND anytime soon.

But then, I'm already having a rethink considering the dichotomy and all that.

I'm already in my mid 20s and is it worth starting afresh, since I can't get to find a school in the South or East that accepts lower credit for DE? Will I be mobilised for service after all?

Please what is really about this jamb regularisation? Can u throw more light for me? I just bought jamb DE form some two days ago, and never heard of it.
However, if I were in your shoe, I will consider DE admission at once, it will serve you the stress of having to go back for a degree later. Mind you I am currently using my HND certificate looking for a DE admission now. I wouldn't want you to pass through what we are currently facing as HND graduates.
I will appreciate more succinct answers from the questions raised previously. thank you

Thank you so much for your advice. Trust me, if I had known of any school in the South or East that accepts lower credit, I wouldn't have considered going for HND.

About Jamb regularisation otherwise known as late application, its purpose is to ensure your current admission details correspond with the school that gave you admission.

Btw, I'm glad you made AKSU your first choice.

Thanks for stopping by. I learned that Aksu has a prolonged academic calendar compared to Uniuyo and CRUTEC. I stand to be corrected though.
I need a school that has a more fast academic sessions. I am working and I got no time to waste, exception of strikes.
Are you currently pursuing any direct entry admission?. please if have any assistance you p. m me.
thanks

I'm sorry this is coming late.

The academic calender of those schools you mentioned are annoying.

But then, since you're working, what's the distance from your place of work to any of those schools and your home?

I got DE form early last year BUT due to JAMB regularisation issue, I had to let it go.

I later applied for HND in two different schools and as fate may have it, both schools gave me admission.

Not limiting my chance, I'll still apply for DE after my HND.

Had HND in Physics and Electronics with a very strong upper credit from AKpoly.
My S.S.C.E results is cool but a p7 in English Language.
Can I be offered a direct entry admission to study Electrical/Electronics Engineering in one of the following schools?
University of Uyo.
University of Calabar.
Cross Rivers State University of Technology.
Akwa Ibom State University of technology.
Please what year am I likely be given for a start?
please I will need as many contribution as possible.
thanks.

I did my OND in Akpoly, Civil Eng. but came out with a lower credit. I've never considered AKSU as a choice but with such a good grade as yours, giving it a shot won't be a bad idea.
